There was no new episode of RAGE last week.
Stan Baker and Sam Holiday are interviewed by Pamela Paulshock. They were co-winners of the Team Battle Royal last week, and get a match of choice this week. Stan Baker goes first and says he wants the only thing that matters, the heavyweight title belt; so he wants a shot at Vendetta tonight! Holiday though speaks next and says he wants the same thing, a title shot, tonight! This brings out commissioner Bob Backlund, who feigns surprise. He says who could have predicted that if multiple wrestlers survived they would ask for the same match, even though they are allies. Backlund grants them both their match tonight, making it a 3-way dance for the heavyweight title in the main event. Can the new found friendship between Baker and Holiday survive the confrontation?
Opening Bout
The Sandman defeated Eddie Chavez by pinfall after a flapjack at 4:25
**Sandman got his revenge over Chavez for his elimination in the battle royal last week. After the bout Pogo the Clown entered the ring with Sandman's kendo stick. But Sandman kicked him in the gut, nailed a DDT, and then the White Russian legsweep using the Kendo stick. Asp Evergreen had come down to ringside but decided better than to try his luck with the hardcore legend.
Bout #2
Fatal Four Way
April Hunter defeated April Pennington, Sable and Tylene Buck by pinfall when she pinned Buck after a powerbomb at 5:09
**Buck was under the impression that she and Hunter would work together, but Hunter allowed that until she had the opportunity to win the bout and took it.
Bout #3
Asp Evergreen defeated Shane Madison by countout at 6:32
**fairly even bout with Evergreen cheating every chance he could get. At the end Evergreen nailed a cross body block that knocked both men over the top rope. Evergreen was able to beat the 10 count while Madison was not so quick.
Bout #4
RCW Heritage Title Semi-Final
Dr. John Manfried defeated C.W. Anderson by submission to the Manfried claw at 5:58
**fairly even match with Anderson using his wrestling skills to control it as long as he could. Manfried though is a freak and used a chop to the throat and some bites to turn the bout around before getting a submission victory.
Bout #5
Sabu defeated Jack Voight by disqualification for outside interference (Dan Severn) at 6:35
**Voight controlled early using his size and power advantage. However, Sabu made a comeback and had the crowd on their feet as he dismantled the German. Suddenly Dan Severn emerged from the back entered the ring and attacked Sabu. The two on one was on, until The Sandman and C.W. Anderson entered to make the save.
Bout #6
RCW Tag Team Title Match
The Great Canadians: Eric Scott & Vincent Regliatti and Rainbow Express: Lenny Lane & Lodi battled to a double countout at 7:59
[Great Canadians retained the RCW Tag Team Titles]
**bout could have gone either way but tempers flared, all four men brawled outside the ring. Lodi managed to make it back in time, but the ref still called it a DCO because Lane was the legal man.
Main Event
3 Way Dance
RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Vendetta defeated Stan Baker and Sam Holiday by pinfall when he pinned Holiday after an inverted DDT at 9:42
[Vendetta retained the RCW Heavyweight Title]
**for the most part this was a hard fought slobber knocker. It was every man for himself, no allegiances, but at the same time there seemed to be no pairings with more animosity than with the others. However in the end Baker threw Holiday shoulder first into the ringpost. Vendetta dropkicked Baker over the top rope, and then nailed a hurting Holiday with his finisher to pick up the win.
