Dark Matches Before Rage
Opening Bout Kevin Matthews defeated Matt Fairlane by pinfall after a to the knees powerbomb at 6:19 **premiere of Matthews in RCW, and he is a young up and comer. At 6'5 and 260 he looks like he will still fill out as he grows older. Matthews wrestled as a cocky heel and had little problem with Fairlane.
Bout #2 "Venom" Paul Diamond defeated Shane Madison by pinfall after a superkick at 7:35 **pecking order match but Diamond used a low blow unseen by the ref to set up the win. It's kind of ironic that Diamond was Shawn Michaels' first tag partner and is now using his finisher under a "quick strike venom" gimmick.
Bout #3 Adam Knight & Ryan Price defeated Players Club: Donnie DiCaprio & Will Damon by pinfall when Knight pinned DiCaprio after a release powerbomb at 8:02 **Darren Dalton was still banged up from his match with team mate Knight last week, so the match makers gave Knight Price as a partner for this week. The new team worked well together, more of a thunder and lightning type of attack instead of double thunder.
Bout #4 Raymond Bingham defeated Max Pain by pinfall after an inside cradle (and a handful of tights) at 5:33 **Well Pain was cheating through out the bout, so when Bingham managed to get to the ropes to break an STF, and then Pain lifted him to his feet..you might have to forgive the youngster when he rolled up Pain, and it looked like he grabbed the tights at the last second to keep his balance, and assure the win. Pain complained to referee Jennifer Greaves about the tight hold, and to his credit Bingham nodded and agreed he did it. However Greaves just shrugged her shoulders, she missed it, and there is nothing in the rules that says she can DQ or restart based on the new information. Head of officials Buddy Lane came out and agreed with Greaves, and commissioner Greg Gagne came out and said they would just have a rematch next week. Seemed to be all good but then Pain decided to attack Bingham when he turned his back. He got some kicks and punches in but there were two refs and the commish in the ring now and quickly got between the two men.
Bout #5 #1 Contenders Match Joe & Stan Malenko defeated The Great Canadians: Eric Scott & Vincent Regliatti by submission when Joe submitted Scott in the Texas cloverleaf at 9:14 **solid match, but nothing new here. Regliatti has to be carefully weighing his future in tag teams as opposed to singles. Many feel he wants to break out from being a mid-carder and has the talent to do so.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Highlights of the dark matches from earlier tonight.
Bout #6 North American Women's Title Match Dawn Marie defeated Jessica Judd after a victory roll (and hands on the ropes) at 5:38 [Dawn Marie retained the North American Women's Title] **Obligatory rematch for JJ. These two seem pretty evenly matched but DM is just dirty, and was looking for her first opportunity to cheat to win and took it.
Bout #7 RCW Television Title Match Chrome defeated Al Hardamann by countout at 7:17 [Al Hardamann retained the RCW Television Title] **The two final matches tonight have the champs switching opponents from the last few weeks. Hardamann came out with fists 'a flying and took it to Chrome early. However the big man caught the champ with a big boot and took over the bout. It spilled outside though and Hardamann showed he's tougher than a two dollar steak in actually out punching Chrome. At one point he stood on the announce table to get the high ground to lay in punches. Hardamann was out punching the big man, rolled him back inside the ring, went to the top buckle...but Chrome managed to back himself to the buckle and knock Hardamann down. The champ crotched himself and then fell all the way to the floor below. Chrome was barely able to get to his feet inside the ring to beat the 10 count while the champ was counted out of the ring.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Tiger Khan (/w Derek St. Holmes) by pinfall after a front layout suplex at 6:11 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **Khan stalled against the big champ, and he and Holmes tried their best to play mind games. It didn't really matter though as the big Cowboy champ was not going to be denied tonight. He fought through one obstacle after another. After coming off with his top rope legdrop, he covered for 1, 2, Derek St. Holmes entered the ring to pull Holiday off. Normally the ref Buddy Lane would have called for the bell, but in this case he waited just long enough to see Holiday slam Holmes to the mat and then toss him over the top rope. Holiday went to grab Khan but the sneaky heel rolled up the champ, grabbed a handful of tights...seen by Lane who called for the break. Holiday rocked the challenger with two stiff uppercut forearms and then nailed a front layout suplex to get the win.

Dark Matches Before RCW RAGE
Opening Bout Kevin Matthews defeated Shane Madison by pinfall after a to the knees powerbomb at 4:59 **Not only does Matthews pick up his second straight win, but he makes short work of Madison in an impressive showing.
Bout #2 The Patriot defeated Chris Parys by pinfall after a full nelson slam at 6:31 **Premiere of Tom Brandi under the Patriot gimmick.
Bout #3 Adam Knight & Ryan Price defeated Darren Dalton & Matt Fairlane by pinfall when Knight pinned Dalton after a release powerbomb at 6:46 **more fall out from a couple weeks ago when friends faced friends. In this case this was supposed to be Knight and Dalton against Price and Fairlane, but Dalton took to the mic. He was pissed off at Knight, called him a glory hog and a cheat, and then egged Fairlane on to admit he felt the same things about Price. Knight offered to trade tag partners and all four men agreed. Knight got the win against his former partner, but when he tried to make nice after the bout he was attacked by Dalton. We had a short four man brawl after the bout.
Bout #4 Max Pain defeated Raymond Bingham by pinfall after a death valley driver at 8:10 **Rematch after Bingham won with a tight pull last week. Pain attacked him before the opening bell and immediately took the action outside the ring. The first half of this bout consisted of Pain taking it in and out of the ring, and also keeping Bingham from entering the ring. Bingham finally got an advantage and used some chain wrestling and then a couple suplexes. However Pain fought back with a chop to the throat, a beating in the corner of the ring, a series of clotheslines, and then his finisher.
Bout #5 North American Women's Title Match Dawn Marie defeated Stacey Lynn by pinfall after a tornado DDT at 4:27 [Dawn Marie retained the North American Women's Title] **DM is a whirling dervish lately.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 Vincent Rergliatti defeated Stan Baker by submission to the figure-four at 6:17 **odd match-up between two heels. By winning this bout Regs puts himself in line for a title shot.
Bout #7 RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Joe & Stan Malenko by pinfall when Orth pinned Stan after a spiked piledriver at 9:40 [The Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **the champs had to double team to win but then again they just win. Stan did a stretcher job after the bout with his neck immobilized from the finisher.
Main Event RCW Television Title Match Street Fight Special Guest Referee: Sam Holiday Al Hardamann defeated Chrome by 10 count in a streetfight at 10:22 [Al Hardamann retained the RCW Television Title] **Heavyweight champ Holiday was the special referee, which in a street fight is really just someone to count to 10, but he also acted as an enforcer. He called it straight down the middle despite Hardamann being his friend, and his own recent feud with Chrome. If anything Chrome let himself be distracted by Holiday which worked against his chances. After trading chair shots the two fought on the announce table where Hardamann nailed an awkward looking Vertebreaker. He then climbed to the top buckle and got ready to pounce, but Chrome could not get to his feet again.

Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Ed "the Hammer" Harris defeated Zakk Wylde by pinfall after a falling Hammer (forearm) at 5:57 **premiere of Harris. He seemed all right and has decent size, but doesn't really seem to have top end potential.
Bout #2 Matt Fairlane defeated Ryan Price by pinfall after a somersault splash at 6:33 **former team mates who no longer see eye to eye. Big win for Fairlane as it's been Price who has had more success lately.
Bout #3 Adam Knight defeated Darren Dalton by disqualification for use of a foreign object (steel chair) at 8:25 **another match between former friends and team mates. This one was way more heated then the previous one, and spent as much time outside the ring as inside. In the end Dalton looked like he was hanging on by a thread and resorted to chair shots to save face but get intentionally disqualified.
Bout #4 Joe Malenko defeated Bryan Caruthers by submission to the Texas cloverleaf at 9:06 **This match was signed after Joe's cousin Stan Malenko was put out of action by a spiked piledriver last week by the Spinebusters. Two guys who have a good combination of traditional pro wrestling skills, mat wrestling, and high impact moves. Malenko countered a spinebuster with a spear, followed up by a German suplex and then locked in the finisher. No sooner had Caruthers tapped out than his partner Jerry Orth came from the dressing room and laid the boots to Malenko. It was two on one until officials could break it up.
Bout #5 Kevin Matthews and Raymond Bingham battled to a double countout at 4:41 **this one got out of hand fairly early, and the intensity was somewhat surprising as neither guy has a short fuse, and they don't have history with each other.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 The Patriot defeated "Venom" Paul Diamond by pinfall after a diving shoulderblock at 6:09 **solid, competitive match between two veterans.
Bout #7 RCW Television Title Match Al Hardamann defeated Max Pain by disqualification for refusing referee instructions at 6:45 [Al Hardamann retained the RCW Television Title] **Pain is a monster crossed with a machine. He has no conscience and you can't be sure he even cares about titles. He just seemed to want to beat the crap out of his opponent. Most of the bout was even but in the end Pain wouldn't let up, kept pounding away, refusing to follow the instructions of Jennifer Greaves who called for the DQ.
Post-Match: Pain refused to let up and when The Patriot tried to stop him he threw him head first into the ring post. Sam Holiday then joined the fracas and exchanged punches with Pain before more officials broke it up.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday and Vincent Regliatti battled to a no-contest at 4:55 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **The champ came in already banged up from earlier. He still had a lot of fight in him plus his big size advantage so was able to be competitive. However, before we could get a decision Max Pain returned to the ring and attacked Holiday. When the match got thrown out Regliatti went nuts in anger, grabbing a steel chair and smashing Pain, and then Holiday.
