Jamie Hamilton, a doctor of philosophy, must ponder his future when his Father dies in a mysterious accident leaving Jamie to run the 4th largest car maker in America (Hamilton Motor Works), and the largest privately held auto maker in the country. 4.01 - "Same As the Old Boss" (2012) 0.8/2 2.53 Sep 19/12 Just when Jamie finally gets himself out from under Paul Riley, he reports to the new Chairman of the Board appointed by the FBI, and it turns out to be none other then Meg Riley; Paul's daughter and Jamie's former lover. When the board directs Jamie to buy out an Atlantic Ocean helicopter rental company, he smells a rat and uses the absence of a C.F.O. to interject himself into the due dilligence. What Jamie finds out gives him hope that he will be able to get him out from under the FBI once and for all by dealing instead with the SEC. Gilbert and Rose confess to Jamie that they have been double dealing, feeding information to Paul Riley.
4.02 - "Wheelers" (2012) 0.7/2 2.10 Sep 26/2012 Meg Riley makes a pass on Jamie but is only leading him on. Jamie finds a surveillance bug in his office and accuses Meg of planting a spy in his organization. Jamie's hunt for a new C.F.O. finds his an unorthodox candidate. Jamie's dealing with the SEC backfire as their focus shifts away from the FBI to Jamie himself.
4.03 - "So Help Me God" (2012) 0.7/2 2.19 Oct 10, 2012 The new CFO Quinn (Mickey Rourke) reacts to being bullied by an FBI agent by slamming him through a glass coffee table. Jamie is called to Washington to testify in front of Congress on how Hamilton Motorworks spent some of the money advanced from the company in the recession bailout. The SEC and FBI hold their breath as Jamie finds some leverage with the Congressional hearing. Jamie's brother Charlie makes an unexpected return to Detroit; working for the competition.
4.04 - "Competition" 0.7/2 2.28 Oct 17, 2012 Charlie Hamilton goes right after the jugular of his brother Jamie and Hamilton motorworks. Jamie believes that a design flaw in one of Hamilton's luxury vehicles was purposely designed that way by a Singapore subcontractor to hurt Hamilton, and help Charlie's new company. Meg uses the design flaw to score points with the board of directos and shareholders at Jamie's expense. Some old cohorts try to extort money from Quinn at their own peril. The incident gives Jamie a peek into the bleak past of his new C.F.O.
4.05 - "Eligible" (2012) 0.7/2 2.00 Oct 31, 2012 Quinn's ex-wife turns up in Detroit causing turmoil. Jamie is featured in a magazine as Detroit's most eligible bachelor. Meg takes Charlie out to dinner to try and gather some information but he is slicker then her and the plan backfires. William Hamilton pays a night time visit to his son Jamie from the other side of the grave. Someone sets fire to the home of one of the board's house killing him in his sleep.
4.06 - "Renounciation" (2012) 0.7/2 2.05 Nov 7, 2012 Jamie confronts his brother Charlie about the sabotage of Hamilton Motorworks, and Charlie responds by severing all ties to the family. When one of Charlie's top executives from Korea turns up dead in Detroit Charlie suspects Jamie who in turn suspects Quinn. Meg uses the tragic opening on the board of directors to appoint who she thinks will be a crony for her; Pam da Silva, a former college classmate. However, Pam turns out to be more independent minded then Meg would like.
4.07 - "Getting the Jitters" (2012) 0.8/2 2.29 Nov 14, 2012 All the recent investigations, the feud with Charlie, and now two murdered executives one at Hamilton Motorworks and one at Sarang Motors, turns the financial markets jittery which is bad news for Hamilton but worse news for Sarang. The Koreans send Charlie's boss from Seoul over to see Jamie directly to try and work out a peace accord. Pam and Meg have a shouting match at a board meeting causing Meg to try and fire Pam. Quinn returns from a short vacation without his wife and determined more then ever to turn Hamilton around.
4.08 - "The Old Guard" (2012) 0.8/2 2.37 Nov 21, 2012 The FBI threatens Quinn with an assault charge and deportation unless he spies on Jamie and Hamilton. Pam and Meg fight for the approval of an older board member who holds quiet sway with some of the old guard. Charlie is sanctioned by Sarang and tells Jamie he will be held responsible when the time is right. Jamie's niece comes to work with him on take your child to work day; giving Jamie time to reflect upon his living.
4.09 - "Sacrificial Offering" (2012) 0.8/2 2.25 Nov 28, 2012 A major lawsuit against Hamilton arising from cars made by Superior Motors which Hamilton bought 10 years ago has the company ducking and running for cover. As the financials tighten Quinn pushes for a public offering, which Meg supports, but Jamie and most of the board opposes. Charlie meets with a hitman as he considers having Jamie taken out.
4.10 - "The Contract Reversal" (2012) 0.8/2 2.39 Dec 5, 2012 Quinn's attempts to keep the IPO quiet don't work as it hits the press causing him and Jamie to have a shouting match. Charlie meets with his hitman one more time and gives him the go ahead and $2million to take out Jamie. Meg steals Pam's boyfriend away just to spite her. Charlie turns up dead; a victim of his own hitman.
4.11 - "Family Christmas" (2012) 0.9/2 2.51 Dec 12, 2012 Eager to get away from his Christmas ghosts, Jamie heads to the caribbean for Christmas; but they follow him even there. Out on his yacht Jamie picks up a distress signal that puts him into danger. Quinn returns to Ireland for Christmas to find his family business in disarray and is unsure of whether to return to America after the holiday. Meg finds out that her new boyfriend infected Pam with AIDS and frets while she awaits her own test results.
4.12 - "How to Deal" (2013) 0.8/2 2.32 Jan 16, 2013 Meg deals with the news that she has AIDS. Hamilton Motor Works looks again for a new CFO, and Jamie cuts a deal with the SEC to put a man in that seat that they trust; Peter Turrin. Someone takes a shot at Jamie, and he wonders if it is the same hitman that took out Charlie.
4.13 - "The Coming Storm" (2013) 0.9/2 2.64 Jan 23, 2013 Peter Turrin shows his true stripes; he's more interested in earning big bucks then he is in taking care of the SEC interests. Turrin and Jamie come to a secret financial arrangement. Jamie's hitman takes another shot, this time at another Hamilton Motor Works executive, putting a bullet into his foot. Jamie believes the hitman is missing on purpose, sending a message that he is in charge. A major winter storm hits Detroit plunging much of the downtown into darkness creating a riot which Meg gets mixed up in.
4.14 - "The Hitman Cometh" (2013) 0.8/2 2.30 Jan 30, 2013 Jamie goes downtown to rescue Meg from the storm and an assaulter. Once there he is hit from behind and taken hostage by the Hitman. Word filters back to Hamilton that Quinn has been found dead in Ireland; a mysterious looking suicide.
4.15- "It's All About the Benjamins" (2013) 0.9/2 2.55 Feb 6, 2013 The Hitman's real motives are revealed, and its all about money and originates with Quinn's old brothers in arms. A false rumor circulates the internet that Hamilton cars have a microchip that feeds back info to the NSA; which sends car sales plummeting.
4.16 - "Nightingale" (2013) 0.8/2 2.36 Feb 13, 2013 Meg and Jamie grow closer, but she believes its the Florence Nightingale effect. Jamie hires a private contract firm to investigate the Hitman's contacts in Ireland. Peter Turrin choses the optimal moment to shake down Jamie for more money.
4.17 - "Globe Trotters" (2013) 0.8/2 2.48 Feb 20, 2013 Confused over her relationship with Jamie, Meg takes off for the Cayman Islands. Her absence and Jamie's preoccupation with the Ireland project give Peter Turrin free reign to flex his muscles at Hamilton Motor Works. A pair of supermodels hired to do commercials for Hamilton get arrested for drug smuggling in Russia and it causes big embarrasment for Jamie and Hamilton.
4.18 - "Global Lock" (2013) 0.9/2 2.61 Feb 27, 2013 Jamie hire's a private military company to look into the Ireland mess and allows him to step back into running the company. He sets a trap for Turrin to get him out of Hamilton, and tries to win Meg back; to the company if not to his bed. The private contractors also work on distancing Hamilton Motor Works from the Russian drug smuggling scandal.
4.19 - "Proof of Life" (2013) 0.8/2 2.40 Apr 17, 2013 Jamie insists on going to Ireland with Global Lock and is not overly surprised when they turn up evidence that Quinn may still be alive. Meg has a one night stand with a tall, dark stranger who turns out to be on the FBI's wanted list.
4.20 - "The Mighty Quinn" (2013) 0.8/2 2.52 Apr 24, 2013 Jamie comes face to face with Quinn who makes startling revelations about his past. Meg finds that keeping secrets from the FBI just drags her in further and causes friction between herself and Trina.
4.21 - "Defending on All Fronts" (2013) 0.8/2 2.43 May 1, 2013 Meg and Trina work to fend off a cyberattack started by Peter Turrin and aided by the Chinese Government. The NSA steps in to help Hamilton against the Chinese; but it comes with a price. One of Quinn's lieutenants arrives in Detroit and begins to plan a physical attack on Hamilton's production facility.
4.22 - "Out with a Bang" (2013) 0.8/2 2.37 Season Finale May 8, 2013 Jamie returns home broken and beaten from his trip to Ireland. Quinn's men are succesful in blowing up the Hamilton Motorworks Detroit facility. Meg is presumed dead but when she resurfaces Jamie whisks the two of them away Carribean; permanently. The NSA's shell company is left in the dust when Hamilton Motors fails after the explosion and disappearance of Jamie and Meg.
