Opening Bout

Phillip Navarre defeated Vance Nevada by pinfall after the coup de grace at 6:01

**triumphant return for the France native to RCW, and he busted out his running knee finisher.

Bout #2

Sabu defeated Lance Storm by pinfall after a diving moonsault at 12:46

**excellent, entertaining match. Last time nothing was decided between these two as it ended outside the ring. This time however Sabu managed to pick up the win, but it really seemed like it could have gone either way.

Bout #3

Cory Everson defeated April Cummings by submission to a grounded octopus hold at 5:37

**Everson is a beast that seems to be able to beat everyone but the champ Pamela Principal.

Bout #4

Ben Bassarab (/w Stu Hart) defeated Jesse Hennig (/w Larry Hennig) by pinfall after a diving crossbody block at 11:23

**Bassarab countered Hennig being reunited with his famous father by bringing out his legendary trainer, the patriarch of the Hart family and founder of the Dungeon, Stu Hart. There was lots of menacing going on and a couple pushes outside the ring but for the most part it seemed like Bassarab was able to fight through the distractions but Hennig was not. For the most part I don't think anyone believed that Stu was a match at this point for The Axe. The end came with Hart and Larry Hennig yelling at each other from the apron which again distracted Jesse.

Post-Match: Larry and Jesse attacked Ben and Stu and beat them up some, making sure this feud had not come to an end. Stu did a stretcher job.

RCW Tag Team Title Match
Destruction Crew: Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom (/w Cory Everson)  defeated Jim Brunzell & Keywon Grant by pinfall when Bloom pinned Grant after a powerbomb (and his feet on the ropes) at 12:13
[Destruction Crew retained the RCW Tag Team Titles]
**solid match but not sure how many people expected the short tag team of Brunzell and Grant to overcome the experience of the champs. While Brunzell was being ejected by the ref Enos, Everson grabbed the legs of Grant, Enos ran the ring apron and clotheslined him, then Bloom hit a powerbomb, put his feet on the middle strand to get the win.

RCW Heritage Title Match
Nick Mercury defeated Giant Warrior (/w Cory Everson) by countout at 8:38
[Nick Mercury retained the RCW Heritage Title]
**still not a clean pinfall win but Mercury finally at least got a clean win against the huge challenger. Warrior still controlled most of the bout but Mercury had more luck with a stick and move attack then he had in the past. The end came when the Warrior made a mistake charging Mercury against the ropes, while Everson was holding the champ's feet. Mercury ducked enough to send Warrior over the top rope where he landed on his manager/valet knocking both out long enough to get the 10 count.

Main Event
RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Stan Lane defeated Manny Silva by disqualification for ignoring referee directions at 9:41
[Stan Lane retained the RCW Heavyweight Title]
**it was bad against evil in this bout, and no surprise the fans were 75% behind Lane. Before the opening bell could even sound Lane went to work on Silva, attacking him from behind. He did so while still wearing the title around his waist. In fact after pounding Silva down to the mat he dropped himself with a splash, driving the title belt into the head of Silva, busting him wide open. Head referee Buddy Lane finally restored order and called for the bell to begin the match with Silva already busted open.
Lane beat Silva from pillar to post for about four minutes. He even nailed his superkick finisher, but Silva hit the mat rolling and left the ring. Lane made a mistake going after Silva outside, taking too long, and Siva finally turned things around with some elbows to the gut, and then throwing Lane head over heels inverted into the ringsteps. Back inside Silva went to work with boots and a big T-bone suplex for a 2 count. A couple more suplexes, and a piledriver only got a 2 count. Lane battled back and the two men fought tooth and nail, first inside the ring, then outside. Finally Silva was able to smash Lane head first into the announce table, smashing his head right off the title belt. Back inside now both men were busted wide open. Silva then wrapped Lane's neck between the top two strands, and began to choke him out, ignoring referee instructions, which caused the DQ.
Post-Match: Jumpin' Jim Brunzell of all people came out to make the save. Probably fuelled more by his hatred of Silva then any concern for Lane. However, after getting Silva to flee Brunzell did check on Lane who gave him an appreciative nod.

Opening Bout

Jesse Hennig & Rick Martel defeated Robbie Royce & Phillip Navarre by pinfall when Martel pinned Navarre after a spinning spinebuster at 12:22

**Rick Martel made his entrance to RCW a successful one. Hennig got a break from having to battle Ben Bassarab every night.

Bout #2

Ben Bassarab & Nick Mercury defeated Giant Warrior & Wayne Bloom (/w Cory Everson) by pinfall when Mercury pinned Bloom after a swinging neckbreaker at 9:36

**Giant Warrior was too much to handle at times for the good guys. But they managed to isolate Bloom, have Bassarab hit his diving crossbody block finisher, then double team Warrior knocking him off the ring apron with a double dropkick, and then Mercury finished off Bloom with the swinging neckbreaker.

Bout #3

Thrillseekers: Chris Jericho & Lance Storm defeated Sabu & Vance Nevada by pinfall when Jericho pinned Nevada after a lionsault at 8:47

**Sabu ended up abandoning his partner who he became frustrated at during the match because of Nevada's lack of success holding an advantage.

Bout #4

Chi Chi Cruz & Eric Freedom defeated Mike Enos & Cory Everson by disqualification for a low blow at 11:25

**Everson held her own against her opponents, and was helped by Enos who was the most dominating force in the match. However, the good guys did manage to get Everson isolated. Enos came in at one point to try and help, and that gave Everson the chance to deliver a lowblow to Freedom. She would have got away with it but she decided to follow up with another one, this one a knee to the crotch, but by now the referee had restored order and witnessed the attack. Freedom was in a lot of pain after the bout and this allowed Enos and Everson to double team Cruz.

Bout #5

Jim Brunzell & Keywon Grant defeated Manny Silva & Peter Strongbow by submission when Grant submitted Strongbow to the cobra clutch at 9:25

**Brunzell and Silva were brawling outside the ring which allowed Grant to finish off Strongbow. After the bout Grant helped Brunzell beat aside Silva, while Strongbow decided he had enough and left for the dressing room.

**one of the most interesting dynamics of this bout was how Cory Everson had herself a bit of a power team, with Giant Warrior, Mike Enos, and Wayne Bloom. Warrior was not overly involved in the bout at first because he was playing bodyguard for Everson. The turning point came when Enos and Warrior quite accidently played a bit of ping pong with Manny Silva. That set off the mad Hawaiian who went after the Warrior. With some help he ended up eliminating Warrior, and the power team fell apart.
