River City Wrestling #569 May 6, 1995 Winnipeg, Manitoba
Opening Bout Johnny Aztec defeated Robbie Royce by pinfall after a slingshot suplex at 7:54 **a minor upset in the opening bout as half of the former tag champions gets beaten.
Bout #2 Eric Freedom defeated Peter Strongbow by pinfall after a twisting flying bodypress at 5:40 **good showing in the debut of Turbo Eric Freedom.
Bout #3 Dawn Whitham defeated Kele Ward after a full nelson slam at 4:59 **Ward is not having much luck in RCW despite getting a good response from the crowd. Whitham is looking like a monster.
Bout #4 Sean Cassidy defeated Hi-Teck by pinfall after a swinging neckbreaker at 8:30 **Cassidy seems to have won this mini-feud.
Bout #5 Ben Bassarab and Jack O'Juguar battled to a double countout at 10:23 **solid match, well fought with Bassarab controlling more of the bout then Jugular but unable to put him away in this battle of former Heritage champions. Many people saw this as an unofficial #1 contenders bout. Unfortunately nothing could be settled as the match got out of hand. Instead maybe Cassidy now becomes the #1 conteder?
Bout #6 Loser Leaves Town April Cummings defeated Kimberly Kupps by submission to the Boston crab at 6:51 **Cummings was the favorite having many more matches under her belt then Kupps and being a former women's champion. Kupps had her moments but without decisive cheating or outside interference she was no match for Cummings.
Bout #7 RCW Heritage Title Match Nick Mercury and Pamela Principal battled to a no-contest at 4:54 [Nick Mercury retained the RCW Heritage Title] **another first for RCW as a man and woman faced each other one on one in a match. And the participants' anxiety over the situation was evident. Principal went from cocky to hesitant, while Mercury seemed unwilling to do any real damage to Principal. The North American Women's champion Principal did manage to get an advantage after a low blow but it was short lived and Mercury controlled her with a side headlock and head scissors. We were all put out of our misery when Dawn Whitham hit the ring and attacked Principal. Mercury tried to get in the way but was then attacked from behind by Sean Cassidy. Whitham and Cassidy laid waste to the two champions before being chased out of the ring by various wrestlers. Bout #8 RCW Tag Team Title Match Stan Baler & Jesse Hennig defeated Thrillseekers: Chris Jericho & Lance Storm by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 14:12 [Baker & Hennig retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **fantastic showing for the challengers tonight. After the champs got off to a fast start and Baker looked like a complete monster, the challengers began to use their speed. Fiery quick tags allowed constant short bursts of double teams, while the ref did his part keeping the illegal man from the champs on the apron. Finally the champs made a comeback started with a Baker clothesline. Storm played the role of Ricky Morton for a couple minutes. Jericho tried to make the save on several instances but was held back by the ref. Finally after a ref bump Jericho got involved only to be thrown over the top rope.Frustrated Jericho returned to the ring with a steel chair and took out both champs. But the ref saw it and called for the disqualification.
Main Event CAGE MATCH Jim Brunzell & The Derelict defeated Stan Lane & Grave Digger by pinfall when Derelict pinned Lane after a top rope fistdrop at 20:08 **incredible brawl, with more time spent with all four men brawling then one on one. Derelict and Digger both were busted open early and bled a lot. Lane got his shoulder worked over well during the bout and finished it fighting with only one arm. The end came when Digger missed a charge into the corner and ran himself into the ringpost. In the meantime Lane was brawling with Brunzell, nailed him with a superkick, covered for 1, 2, ...Derelict came off the top rope and dropped a fist right to the back of the head of the Heavyweight champ. He then covered for the win.

River City Wrestling #570 May 20, 1995 Winnipeg, Manitoba
Opening Bout Atomic Punk defeated Hi-Teck by pinfall after a moonsault at 7:44 **decent opening bout with a bit of an upset victory.
Bout #2 Eric Freedom & Chi Chi Cruz defeated Indian Outlaws: Peter Strongbow & Johnny Aztec by pinfall when Freedom pinned Aztec after a double team slingshot suplex at 8:20 **another minor upset with first time tag team Freedom and Cruz showing a lot of chemistry, even brining out an obviously practiced team finishing move.
Bout #3 April Cummings defeated Tammy Rief by disqualification for outside interference at 6:14 **Rief came out dressed like a biker and fought like one too, risking DQ throughout the first few minutes of the bout. Cummings though was the superior wrestler and looked on the verge of winning when Tami Kim came from the back and helped Rief beat down Cummings. Rief and Kim were teamed together on the April 1st all Women's card.
Bout #4 Ben Bassarab defeated Jack O'Jugular by pinfall after a diving crossbody block (and a handful of tights) at 9:56 **very good return match for these two. Moments of brawling in and out of the ring, and lots of explosive offense, and even a bit of chain wrestling although that is not really Jugular's forte. The end came when Bassarab nailed his finisher, but Jugular rolled through for 1, grabbed the tights 2, Bassarab still managed to power through it and turn it over...cover, 1, 2, grabbed a handful of tights of his own...3. Post-Match: As Bassarab made his way to the back Jugular grabbed the ringbell and went after him, nailing him from behind. He beat down on Bassarab, busting him wide open in one of the most vicious attacks we have seen in RCW. Jugular even hit two RCW officials with DDT's when they tried to come out and break it up.
Bout #5 North American Women's Title Match Pamela Principal defeated Dawn Whitham by pinfall after a schoolgirl pin at 8:48 [Pamela Principal retained the North American Women's Title] **this is one of those bouts where the challenger actually comes in as the favourite, in this case because of the size and strength of Whitham. However, Principal took a beating for most of the bout but kicked out of several pin attempts and then managed to pick up a quick count. It seems that Principal is becoming a fan favourite again.
Bout #6 RCW Heritage Title Match Nick Mercury defeated Sean Cassidy by disqualification at 0:00 [Nick Mercury retained the RCW Heritage Title] **technically this should have been ruled a no-contest since it never got underway. However since it was all Cassidy's doing it was ruled a DQ instead. The challenger attacked Mercury before the opening bell and refused to let it go. He continued to attack him, knocked him out of the ring and continued some more. After the bout was thrown out Cassidy took time off to complain about that decision and that allowed Mercury to make a comeback. It was short lived though and Cassidy ended up using a steel chair to bust Mercury wide open.
Bout #7 RCW Tag Team Title Match Stan Baker & Jesse Hennig defeated Thrillseekers: Chris Jericho & Lance Storm by pinfall when Hennig pinned Jericho after a running neck snap at 12:53 [Baker & Hennig retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **Another strong showing by the challengers who controlled most of this match. They even had an extended period of time where Baker played Ricky Morton which was the first such time he had been handled like that. In the end though the champs double teamed Jericho while Storm was knocked out of the ring. Baker nailed a powerslam and then Hennig finished off Jericho with his finisher.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Stan Lane defeated The Derelict by pinfall after a superkick at 10:19 [Stan Lane retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **solid outing for the champ who pretty much looked like the world class dominant wrestler he is. Derelict took too long going to the top and the champ rolled away from a fistdrop, then nailed his finisher and it was over.

River City Wrestling #572 May 27, 1995 Winnipeg, Manitoba
**All Ladies Edition** Opening Bout Mistress Gloom defeated KC Houston by pinfall after a tombstone piledriver at 6:40 **Gloom made her RCW debut a successful one over the veteran Houston. Gloom had a BDSM vibe to her and wrestled a strong style. She caught Houston totally off guard as if the veteran was expecting a standard match.
Bout #2 Julie Fulkerson defeated Desiree Petersen by pinfall after a tiltawhirl slam at 6:03 **Perhaps fans are starting to see a changing of the guard with the new style of athletic, strong competitors overcoming the experience and bigger repertoire of the old guard.
Bout #3 Kele Ward defeated Carol Semple by pinfall after a double leg drop legsplit at 7:31 **After two straight loses Ward finally gets to the pay window. Semple was slightly bigger and better built but the crowd really gave strength to the fiery Ward.
Bout #4 Paddle on a Pole Match Dana Dodson defeated Tami Kim by disqualification for outside interference (Tammy Rief) at 9:39 **The winner would have to get the paddle off the pole and deliver 3 spanks to the other's bottom. Dodson managed to retrieve the paddle but only got 2 smacks in. The two battled for a bit more and each got a spank in but not 3. Finally Dodson powerbombed Kim twice in a row, had her over the knee, and was attacked from behind by Rief. The two on one beat down ended with Dodson being taken off by stretcher.
Bout #5 Submission Match Cory Everson defeated Sandy Cummins by submission to a grounded octopus hold at 10:43 **Cummins held her own early although Everson had the aura of dominance. Everson managed to survive two applications of the Boston crab. Everson managed to hotshot Cummins throat first on the ring rope, nail a side Russian leg sweep and then locked on her finisher.
Bout #6 Street Fight Tammy Rief defeated April Cummings by pinfall after powerbombing her through a table at 9:20 **Cummings is the better wrestler, but Rief is a bit stronger and was better suited to a no holds barred street fight. After the bout Tami Kim came out to celebrate with her tag partner. They tried to do further damage to Cummings but RCW officials were able to intervene this time so there was no repeat of the Dana Dodson stretcher job.
Main Event North American Women's Title Pamela Principal defeated Dawn Whitham by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 12:32 [Pamela Principal retained the North American Women's Title] **Principal started strong but Whitham clotheslined her out of her boots at about the two minute mark. After that it was all Whitham for about the next 7 or 8 minutes as she hit power moves and submission moves but was unable to get the victory. Principal made a short comeback but it ended when Whitham reversed a whip to the ropes, and send Principal colliding with the referee. The challenger left the ring and came back with a steel chair which she used to ~waffle~ the champ. She covered for the pin but the ref had seen the chair shot and called for the bell. Whitham was angry after the match and ejected the ref from the ring before locking Principal into a full nelson and rag dolling the knocked out champ until Sandy Cummins came out to make the save.
