American Pro Wrestling May 7th 2011 Hour #1 Owner, Jack Larkin comes out, pissed off about being chokeslammed by Uriah the heavyweight champion. He sets up another title shot tonight for Matt Willig, this time though Jack appoints himself as the special referee. Jessica Hatch comes out with Uriah. She hands Larkin the papers that make her the new manager of Uriah, and terminate his previous agreement with Derek St. Holmes. Hatch says that Larkin had better not be planning to screw her and Uriah tonight. The owner says he's sure Hatch will get screwed tonight, but not by him, and then mentions some local bars she might want to check out to make sure she gets her nightly quota. Opening bout; Wes Shivers defeated Donnie DiCaprio by pinfall **the former football star gets back on the winning side of the ledger, defeating one half of the former tag team champs Bout #2 - Open Challenge Rulon Gardner defeated Raymond Bingham by submission to a half-Boston crab **Bingham was out running his mouth as usual and saying that he was a lost breed here in APW and in pro wrestling in general; a technician. He challenged anyone in the back who thought they were a better technical wrestler to come out and face him. The fans were shocked when of all people Rulon Gardner came to the ring. Rulon had a short run in APW when it was known as Mid-American Pro Wrestling in the last decade. He is better know for his amateur career including Olympic Gold medal, and unfortunately for being on this season's Biggest Loser. In fact once the shock wore off Bingham began to insult Gardner calling him Fatso, lard ass, and assuring him he was indeed the Biggest Loser. But come match time Garnder used a ground and pound game plan where his weight was an asset. The fans initial cheers however turned to boredom as they watched a pretty tedious match. Bout #3 Handi-Cap Match Gregor Wynn & Ivan defeated Steve Corino by pinfall when Wynn pinned Corino **As per usual Wynn let his man Ivan do the dirty work for him and refused to tag in. At one point he even took a seat at ringside and had Katrina give him a neck rub while Svetlana acted as a foot rest. Ivan had his troubles with Corino showing that 100 extra pounds of beef were no match for experience and heart. Corino though made the mistake of going after Wynn sending him flying out of his chair. However, this allowed Ivan to clock Corino over the head with the discarded chair as the ref was distracted by Katrina who lay on the floor feigning injury. Wynn then took the opportunity to get the win himself instead of allowing his bodyguard Ivan from finishing. Bout #4 the 4th Quarterfinal Match for the vacant APW Women's Title Annie Social defeated Jessica Hatch by countout Hatch had her moments early in the match but Annie Social's vicious side finally came out and for once she heard the cheers of the fans as she ripped Hatch apart. First chance she got though Hatch bailed and took the countout. Grabbing the house mic before leaving the area she said she doesn't need to dirty herself like this anymore by wrestling, or need the women's title, because she has Uriah to take care of. Hour #2 Bout #5 APW Television Title Match - Return Bout Jody Christmas defeated April Hunter by pinfall [Christmas retained the APW Television Title] **It was a hard fought contest, but perhaps having a week to prepare instead of being a surprise like last week helped Christmas enough to get past this formiable challenge. Christmas actually gave Hunter a big of a nod/salute before leaving the ring with his title to tell her that she had pushed him to the brink. Bout #6 APW Tag Team Title Match Thaddeus Coleman & Ricky Foley (/w Grindhouse Barbie) defeated Asp Evergreen & Eddie Chavez (/w Jen England) by pinfall when Coleman pinned Evergreen [Coleman & Foley retained the APW Tag Team Titles] **Evergreen & Chavez back together again, considered probably the 2nd greatest tag team in APW history (next to the Spinebusters: Bryan Caruthers & Jerry Orth) trying to recapture their gold from the big, tough, former football stars. The X-factor at ringside is the presence of the women in each corner. Coleman and Foley controlled early, and Evergreen played Ricky Morton until he made the hot tag to Chavez. However, Asp and Eddie could not quite finish off the champions who continually kicked out of close tags. Finally Grindhouse Barbie tried to interfere but was pulled away by Summer. This led to the men joining them outside the ring and Coleman managed to run Evergreen from behind, driving him into the ringpost. Back inside Evergreen was easy pickings. Main Event APW Heavyweight Title Match Special guest referee; Jack Larkin Matt Willig (/w Summer Delin) defeated Uriah (/w Jessica Hatch) by countout [Uriah retained the APW Heavyweight Title] **the commentators did talk a bit about how everybody in APW seems to be taking on female managers and valets as of late. Not that there is anything wrong with that. However, in this match the women could not keep their hands to themselves and the inevitable catfight broke out. Although he was not defeated Matt Willig was having a real tough time trying to get a sustained advantage on the uncanny like strength of the champion. Maybe he caught a break when the catfight broke out and Larkin sent both women to the back. Whatever Larkin's intentions on revenge may have been didn't pan out because as Jessica Hatch was heading up the ramp Derek St. Holmes appeared from the back and met her half way. He began to assault her, and even when Summer Delin tried to help her nemesis St. Holmes sent her flying with an elbow to the face. This is what caused the champ to leave the ring, to help out Hatch, and he was counted out as he chased Uriah to the back.

American Pro Wrestling May 14th 2011 Hour#1 Moses Luke defeated Wes Shivers by pinfall Shivers was able to defeat Donnie DiCaprio last week but could not get past his tag partner this week in this battle of big men Rulon Gardner defeated Mentallo by submission to a half-Boston crab Same way he beat Raymond Bingham last week. The fans again got restless watching Garner's ground and pound style. After the match as Gardner's hand was raised in victory he was attacked from behind by Bingham his opponent last week. Bingham pounded on Gardner but soon Garnder made a comeback. But by then Mentallo was back to his feet and he helped Bingham in a two on one beat down. Women's Championship Semi-Final Match Amy Bates defeated Annie Social by pinfall after a full nelson slam Rookie Amy Bates showed she is more then just a pretty face and a fit body. She looked like a true warrior. Women's Championship Semi-Final Match Grindhouse Barbie defeated Nikki Crawford by pinfall Crawford controlled most of the match but as soon as Barbie got her first advantage of the match her nemesis Jenn England came out to complain to the ref. That distraction just allowed Barbie more opportunity to cheat so England tried to trip up Barbie, but the whip to the ropes was reversed and England tripped up Crawford instead. This was the final touch needed for Barbie to come up with an improbable win. Hour #2 Gregor Wynn defeated Steve Corino in a lumberjack match after a reverse DDT Wynn continued to show his preference in allowing others to do his work for him the Russian spent more time taking the match outside and getting the lumberjacks involved then he did trying to beat Corino. However, in the end he showed an explosiveness and viciousness to nail a series of 4 moves in about 15 seconds and stun the crowd. APW Tag Team Title Match Thaddeus Coleman & Rickey Foley (w/ Grindhouse Barbie) defeated Asp Evergreen & Eddie Chavez (/w Jenn England) by disqualification [Coleman & Foley retained the APW Tag Titles] For the second time tonight England made a bad decision to step in to try and stop cheating and this one cost her team a chance to win the tag titles. After the bout Eddie was very upset with England but Asp defended her. We've seen a woman come between these two men before, that time it was Asp's ex-wife Chyna. But before we could see final resolution on that play out Coleman, Foley, and Barbie attacked their advercaries from behind. Main Event Non-Title Match First Blood Match Matt Willig defeated Uriah by first blood All others were banned from ringside, and the ref stayed out of the way as these two men battered and beat each other from pillar to post. When Uriah got a hold of the ringbell hammer the two rolled around and fought over it like a gun from a movie scene. Uriah kicked Willig hard in the crotch getting control of the hammer. But when he tried to bring down the hammer Willlig brough his forearm up to block the hammer. The two continued to brawl, and as if Willig's fight wasnt uphill enough he was now figting one handed, as it looked like his forearm was busted. Uriah began to beat Willig and throw him around the ring. He seemed to really be enjoying beating the living hell out of his opponent, and didnt notice when Willig took a chance to pull a turnbuckle cover off. A few seconds later Uriah was charging at Willig who stepped out of the way and put a drop toehold on the champ sending him head first into the exposed buckle. He came up bloodied and the ref awarded the match to Willig. Uriah nailed Willig after the match though, and stepped on his hand. He made it obvious he was going to stomp on Willig's injured arm and do even more damage. But he paused as he saw his manager Jessica Hatch coming down to ringside. Before she could make it down to the ring though Summer Delin jumped her from behind, delivering a vicious bulldog on the floor. Uriah then left the ring and caught an unsuspecting Summer who was too busy taunting Hatch. Uriah prepared to chokeslam the girl, until owner Jack Larkin came out in a rare show of bravery waving him off and threatening suspensions and stripping of the title. It seemed to work as Uriah finally let go of Summer who collapsed to the ground holding her throat. But before Larkin could celebrate he was grabbed by the throat and the huge champion chokeslammed him on the hard ground.

American Pro Wrestling May 21st 2011 Hour #1 Nikki Crawford defeated Trishelle Cantenella **Jack Larkin announced that Matt Willig's arm is broken from last week and is out indefinetely. In his place a new #1 contenders match, a four corners match will happen tonight. Also, since heavyweight champion Uriah does not have an opponent for tonight and because he dared to chokeslam him last week, tonight Uriah would face not one man but 4 men at one time in a handi-cap match where he will have to beat each one of them. Oh, and the title is on the line! Eddie Chavez (/w Jen England) defeated Ricky Foley (/w Grindhouse Barbie) **Chavez beat one half of the tag champions cleanly Thaddeus Coleman (/w Grindhouse Barbie) defeated Asp Evergreen (/w Jen England) by pinfall **Evergreen was distracted when Jen England was attacked by Nikki Crawford at ringside. Apparently Crawford wasn't happy with England's part in her match last week against Grindhouse Barbie. Heavyweight Title Match - Handi-Cap 4 on 1 Match Uriah (/w Jessica Hatch) defeated Collin Green, Donnie DiCaprio, JD McKay, and Jack Hasse [Uriah retained the Heavyweight Title] **despite the odds Uriah just showed more dominance beating Larkin's 4 men one at a time. Hour #2 Raymond Bingham defeated Rulon Gardner **Gardner tried to play to the restless crowd, try to pump them up, but got only a flat reaction and some jeers. This distraction was enough to give the veteran Bingham all the advantage he needed. APW Women's Championship Match Tournament Final for the vacant title Grindhouse Barbie defeated Amy Bates by pinfall [Grindhouse Barbie wins the vacant APW Women's Title] **Bates came down to the ring hobbled. She got on the mic and told the ref she had just been attacked backstage by Annie Social. She asked Barbie if she had put Social up to it but Barbie denied it. The match went on but despite a valiant effort by Bates in this battle of rookies Barbie went to the injured leg and soon had a title that was not well earned at all. She was joined in the ring by Thaddeus Coleman, and Ricky Foley the tag champions. **We get a report and the very end of the attack on camera, as apparently Rulon Gardner went nuts in the dressing room and attacked fellow mates JD McKay, Jack Hasse, and Collin Green. He was finally downed by Moses Luke and Donnie DiCaprio. Main Event #1 Contenders Match - 4 Corners Match Jody Christmas defeated Steve Corino, Gregor Wynn, and Moses Luke when he pinned Steve Corino **Wynn and Luke got into it, and Ivan came to Wynn's rescue. One on one Christmas took Corino down with a brainbuster and took the win. This sets up a much anticipated champion versus champion showdown.
