American Pro Wrestling August 6th 2011 **Welcome to the Proving Grounds** Hour #1 Owner and President Jack Larkin starts the show off with a big announcement. He says that the reason some talent has left over the past few months, new talent has been lagging, and even some no-shows like Rulon Gardner and Raymond Bingham last week , was because APW was running low on operating capital. Much of his personal wealth was wiped out, or tied up, due to his embezzlement problems from years ago that led to his exile to the Caribbean. To solve that problem he has brought in a new investor and business partner, Beslan Butba, a millionaire from Abaza, formerly part of the Soviet empire. The 50 year old businessman comes to the ring in a suit and tie for introductions. Larkin tries to sell it like Butba will be a silent partner trying to break into the North American market, but apparently no one told Butba that. He takes the mic from Larkin and tells everyone he will be sending the APW tapes all the way across the ocean to Abaza to be broadcast on his television stations Abaza TV. He also says he will have a hands on approach to hiring new talent, and will bring his first big signing next week. Larkin does not look pleased. Rulon Gardner & Raymond Bingham come to the ring. They say its not their fault they no-showed last week, its because they hadn't been paid in a month. They are back now and want their title shot. Larkin says Gardner is well known for his lack of loyalty so he has no pity for him. However, since there is not a clear cut #1 tag contender right now if they can beat the team of Thaddeus Coleman & Ricky Foley tonight they will get their title match. Kid America defeated Jack Hasse by pinfall **the Canadian crowd took an immediate disliking to Kid America, who is hardly a "kid" anymore, and seemed to take the short cut whenever possible. However he did come out ahead against Hasse. Lifbrazer defeated JD McKay by pinfall **Lifbrazer is the second straight newcomer we have tonight thanks to the new deep pockets of APW. This scary looking psycho death metal fanatic from Holland made very short work of McKay and had nothing to say about it afterward, not sticking around for a requested post match interview. Wes Shivers defeated Asp Evergreen by disqualification for outside interference by Chyna **No one is sure what got into Shivers, but considering his lack of focus and his temper people are beginning to figure he is overdosing on steroids. He totally lost it in his match against one half of the tag champions and probably would have injured Asp if it were not for ex-wife Chuyna coming to his aid. This just enraged Shivers more though and he started to beat Chyna from pillar to post, busting her wide open. This brought out Eddie Chavez to Chyna's defense despite their differences. He nailed Shivers three times in the back with the chair before the big man took a knee. Asp, Eddie, and Chyna took off before the big man could recover. APW Women's title match; Nikki Crawford defeated Rain by pinfall [Crawford retained the APW Women's title] **Crawford used a hand full of tights to get a hard fought victory. After the match Rain's partner Lacey came down to the ring to complain to the ref before she was attacked from behind by Crawford. The champion took Rain and Lacey by surprise and took them both out with chair shots to the knee, and then the head. Lacey got the worst of it and was taken out in a stretcher. Hour #2 Moses Luke & Steve Corino defeated Ivan & Donnie DiCaprio by pinfall **With the leader of Wynn International Gregor Wynn sitting at ringside flanked by the lovely Katrina and Svetlana, his men did not fair well. DiCaprio tried to avoid being tagged in as much as possible and Ivan does not have the repetoire to control a match for too long. Luke and Corino said after the match they want the leader of Wynn International Gregor in the ring. #1 Contenders Match: Rulon Gardner & Raymond Bingham defeated Thaddeus Coleman & Ricky Foley (/w Jessica Hatch) by pinfall **Gardner and Bingham display uncanny tag team synergy, which has put them in a class with the tag champs Asp & Eddie. They really look like a credible threat to the titles again. Main Event - Lumberjack Match - for the vacant APW Heavyweight Title Jody Christmas defeated Collin Green by pinfall [Jody Christmas won the vacant APW Heavyweight title] **Hard fought match but Christmas showed he is the more experienced, and more accomplished wrestler, who looks ready to wear the belt. The lumberjacks kept Darren Michaels away from the ring, so he sat and gave guest commentary. He said his actions over the past weeks have been for Christmas' own good. He is not Christmas' manager - as managers are only interested in a short term pop which can bring 10% into their pockets. Michaels says he is Christmas' mentor, and he feels the young man is not nasty enough, and not willing to pay the ultimate price to get to the top yet ~ his soul. Even after the big win Michaels said in the ring, on the mic to Christmas, that was the easy part, the hard part, the dark winter nights still lay ahead. This really seems to throw a damper on Christmas's celebration and he is not pleased.

American Pro Wrestling August 13th 2011 **Welcome to the Proving Grounds** Hour #1 **President Jack Larkin announces that with some of the new money they have APW is again able to bring in some more talent, and will also be able to again present a top tier card. On Saturday September 10th APW will have a special 3 Hour Back To School Bash. In addition on that card APW will be reinstating additions to the River City Wrestling Hall of Fame (River City being the parent company and original name of the APW lineage). One man will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at that special 3 hour show. The announcement as to who it is will be next week, and it will be huge. Deanna Conda defeated Alicia by submission **Conda stays in the hunt for a title shot partially redeeming her loss to Chya **new investor Beslan Butba comes to the ring with some exciting news. As much as he and his fellow Abaza citizens loathe the Russians, he has signed Oleg Taktarov, legend of mixed martial arts, pro wrestling, and the silver screen. The Russian legend comes to the ring and stands behind Beslan, looking more like a bodyguard for the investor then a wrestler. It ends fairly strangely as Taktarov is not given a chance to speak by Butba. Kid American defeated Sicodelica **second straight win for this guy who likes to piss off the Canadian crowd. Looks like he might have to start getting a crack at some stiffer competition. **Rain gave a pre-match interview in which she made it known her tag partner and friend Lacey is out with a neck injury after the piledriver from Nikki Crawford last week on the arena floor. She vows revenge. APW Women's Title Match: Nikki Crawford defeated Rain in a strap match [Nikki Crawford retained the APW Women's Title] **Rain gave it a valiant effort but Crawford has made huge strides the past few months in her wrestling ability, and the psycho MILF continues to roll. Wes Shivers defeated Chyna by DQ when Asp Evergreen interfered **Shivers is just wrestling and acting like a mad man, and he looked more like he was out to hurt Chyna then he was to win the match. Asp Evergreen decided to return the favor from last week when his ex-wife Chyna saved him from Shivers. However, Shivers was able to beat the tar out of both Chyna and Asp, and when Eddie Chavez came out to help he was left laying by Shivers too. **Darren Michaels calls out the mysterious Lifbrazer who made his first appearance last week in APW. Michaels at first plays nice telling him how impressive he was, but when the evil looking man does not respond, Michaels becomes irritated. The Dangerous One interrogates him to find out where he comes from and what he is doing in APW. Lifbrazer does not respond...until Michaels pokes him in the chest...then the newcomer coldcocks Michaels in the side of the head with a pair of brass knux!! The fans cheer as Lifbrazer leaves Michaels out cold. Hour #2 **owner and President Jack Larkin begins the second hour by coming to the ring with some papers in his hand. He calls out his investor Belsan Butba, who comes to the ring with intimidating Oleg Taktarov behind him. He tells Beslan that he is not allowed to sign talent out of the APW funds without his approval, he tells Butba he is supposed to be a silent investor. Furthermore he tells Butba that he has looked over the contract with Taktarov and it looks more like a personal services contract to Butba then it does a wrestling contract for APW. Butba tells Larkin not to worry about exact verbage, its close enough. Larkin steps into the grill of Butba and begins to tell him to watch his step, when Oleg steps between the two men. The tough Russian doesnt say a word he just stares down Larkin. Butba tells Larkin that if he wants out then he just has to buy out Butba..of course there are huge penalties that were built into the contracts, both for the investment as well as for the Abaza TV contract. Larkin tells Butba that this issue is not over yet, and leaves the ring in disgust. Gregor Wynn defeated Steve Corino by pinfall **Moses Luke was in Corino's corner, and Donnie DiCaprio was in Wynn's corner representing Wynn International. Corino had the better of Wynn although the match was fairly even, but DiCaprio and Luke got into a fight outside the ring, and a momentary distraction of Corino and the ref was all Wynn needed for a lowblow, and then a fireman's carry into a slam to pick up the win. APW Tag Team Title Match Asp Evergreen & Eddie Chavez battled to a double countout with Rulon Gardner & Raymond Bingham [Evergreen & Chavez retained the APW Tag Titles] **the champs were far from 100% as both Eddie and Asp were nursing some injuries after their run in with Wes Shivers earlier in the card. This seemed to spur on the aggressiveness of the challengers who pushed the envelope, in the end a little too far. However, in a post-match interview the challengers pointed out that the champs keep failing to gain a clear victory over them, and are hanging onto the titles by luck. They demand that to finally settle this they get their cage match that was originally supposed to happen before Larkin ran into money problems. Main Event APW Heavyweight Title Match Jody Christmas (/w Darren Michaels) defeated Collin Green by pinfall [Jody Christmas retained the APW Heavyweight Title] **this was kind of Green's rematch even though he lost in a vacany match and didn't lose the title directly. Christmas showed that he was still half a step further ahead then the green Green. However, the Irishman Green kept the fans entertained as always by his non stop verbal running commentary throughout the match taunting champion and mentor Michaels. **After the bout Michaels slid into the ring and ordered Christmas to put Green into a full nelson so Michaels could get in some shots. As Christmas did this reluctantly, all of a sudden Uriah appeared coming out of the crowd. Michaels didn't warn Christmas, was he too surprised or was it more of his games? Uriah demolished Christmas from behind and Michaels bailed out of the ring. Uriah proceeded to kick the crap out of both Christmas and Green, and then took the title belt and smashed it on the top turnbuckle, putting a large dent in it.

American Pro Wrestling August 20th 2011 **Welcome To The Proving Grounds** Hour #1 **It is announced that earlier in the day on September 10th, APW will be using its regular TV slot for a 20 man Battle Royale with the winner to get a Heavyweight Title shot that night at the Back to School Bash. Also that day will be a tournament to crown a new Television champion, that title having been vacated by Heavyweight champion Jody Christmas. Tajiri defeated Kid America by pinfall **the fans cheered the surprise return of the Japanese buzzsaw to APW, against the aggravating Kid America. However, Tajiri was having problems with the Kid but pulled out the win thanks in large part to blowing his mist into the face of Kid America. Collin Green defeated El Camino **Green starts at the bottom again after failing to take the Heavyweight title from Christmas. "Wiry" gave a running monologue during his match and told us he will either be winning the battle royale in September, or the TV title...or both. #1 contenders match for the Women's Title Deanna Conda defeated Rain **Conda handled Rain fairly well, and is in the unlikely position of being the fan favorite to take on Nikki Crawford for the women's title next week Wes Shivers defeated Moses Luke by pinfall **Shivers is still looking dominating and out of control. After the match he shook the ropes and DEMANDED a title shot. Jack Larkin came to the ring and told Shivers he could compete in both the battle royale and the TV title tournament, but Shivers rebuffed him telling him this was not soon enough. Larkin got upset and told Shivers he was out of control. He told Shivers there were lots of rumors in the back and he couldnt turn his back on it anymore, he didnt want his wrestlers injured. Larkin told Shivers he would have to come up with a clean test for performance enhancing drugs before he was allowed back in an APW ring. Shivers SCREAMED at Larkin about making him piss in a bottle, and Larkin left in a hurry before Shivers totally lost control. Hour #2 Darren Michaels brings out Jody Christmas and tries to convince him to wrestle the newcomer Lifbrazer tonight and teach him a lesson for putting his hands on Michaels last week. Christmas tells Michaels that the guy doesnt deserve a title shot, and that Michaels is just trying to play God again, and suggests that the Dangerous one take care of his own business. Michaels calls Christmas an ungrateful little turd and says he will show him how its done, and challenges Lifbrazer to a match tonight. Donnie DiCaprio defeated Steve Corino by pinfall thanks to a pair of brass knux **Wynn International just continues to roll. DiCaprio was looking rather Hollywood tonight with the lovely Svetlana on his arm, looking more like the old days when he used to team with Shane Madison. **Jack Larkin comes to the ring and makes the big announcement as mentioned last week. At the September 10th Back to School Bash, APW will induct none other then CHRIS JERICHO into the hall of fame, and the former Heavyweight champion will be on hand to accept the accolades! Cage Match - APW Tag Title Match Asp Evergreen & Eddie Chavez defeated Rulon Gardner & Raymond Bingham by pinfall [Evergreen & Chavez retained the APW Tag Titles] **hard fought and even contest, with 3 out of 4 (but not Gardner) having a crimson mask by the end. Chavez and Evergreen both flew from the cage wall with splashes to get the pin on Gardner to end the match. **after the bout the challengers said they want one more title shot, and if they dont win they will disband as a team. They tell the champs, any time, any match. Special Challenge Match Darren Michaels challenges Lifbrazer **the tag match was supposed to be the main event, but true to his word the Dangerous one goes into the steel cage and challenges Lifbrazer to a fight, no referee needed. The newcomer accepts the challenge and soon enough the two men are toe to toe busting each other open. From the crowd comes Uriah, the former Heavyweight champion, and he begins to take out both Michaels and Lifbrazer. Just when that is starting to sort itself out into a 3 person brawl, Vampiro comes from the crowd and enters the ring to make it a 4 man brawl. What is Vampiro doing in APW??? And just when that couldnt get any crazier..from the dressing room area down into the ring comes Batista!! Dave Batista is in APW!! Vampiro decides to take a powder and leaves the ring, while Batista takes out Lifbrazer, and Uriah finishes off Michaels. Now Batista and Uriah are nose to nose, and start to slug it out as we fade to black. One of the craziest episodes of APW in years!

American Pro Wrestling Aug 27th 2011 **Welcome to the Proving Grounds** Tajiri defeated Kid America by pinfall in a rematch **Vampiro it turns out was hired by "silent" minority owner Beslan Butba. Larkin says this has to stop and the two owners need to work together. Butba agrees but says the hiring of Vampiro was in retaliation for Larkin's unilateral signing of Tajiri. The two men argue about which was the better signing and agree to pit the men against each other at Back to School Bash on Sep 10th. They then up the ante and agree to also pit their two big signings Oleg Taktarov and Dave Batista against each other on the same card. Vampiro defeated Sicodelica **Wes Shivers is supposed to appear to take a urine test. He appears but refuses and is promptly suspended by Larkin until he provides one and it passes. Shivers is angry and knocks Larkin to the ground and prepares to provide the sample right then on Larkin but is stopped by security. He proceeds to beat up security until Dave Batista intervenes. Even Batista is having a hard time with the hyped up Shivers, and gets help finally from an unlikely source ~ Oleg Taktarov. The big Russian tells Batista he was brought into APW for the same reason, to provide security against the likes of out of control wrestlers like Shivers and Uriah. He says that if Batista isn't up for the job then he will take it from him. Gregor Wynn defeated Steve Corino & Thaddeus Coleman in a triangle match **Donnie DiCaprio is named the temporary #1 contender and will get his title shot tonight against Jody Christmas. However, Moses Luke comes out and challenges his former partner to a brass knuckles match at Back to School since DiCaprio seems to like to use the knux so much. DiCaprio looks worried but Wynn accepts for DiCaprio as head of Wynn International. Moses Luke defeated Ricky Foley & Ivan in a triangle match Hour #2 Asp Evergreen & Eddie Chavez defeated Wade Garrett & Adam Windsor by pinfall **Evergreen & Chavez agree to the request from Gardner & Bingham for one more title shot. They make it a TLC match at Back to School. Deanna Conda defeated Nikki Crawford by submission to win the APW Women's title **Conda celebrates her win and is really starting to become a fan favorite. Jody Christmas defeated Donnie DiCaprio by pinfall to retain the APW Heavyweight title **Moses Luke had to intervene and neutralize Gregor Wynn's attempts to help DiCaprio cheat to victory
