A one hour drama that follows Billy the Kid on the run in April 1881, and flashes back to his upbringing and the creation of an American legend. This version will be gritty and unforgiving, with Billy more of a villain than an anti-hero but always keeping the viewer hoping for redemption. The project is being put forward as a limited series, perhaps to get a similar treatment that Halloween received in fall of 2016.
