~untitled Mark Brazill project~
Sit-Com
(30 minutes)
20th Century Fox Television
Liberty Brazill Entertainment
From Mark Brazill (70's Show, 3rd Rock From the Sun) and writer Jackie Filgo (70's Show) a sit-com about a twin who missed her big break due to illness 30 years ago, and has now come back to L.A. to cash in. When she was a child Grace was packed up along with her twin sister Faith by their star struck mother and driven from their home in Tucson, Arizona to Hollywood to try out for a TV movie that required a young girl but because of the heavy production schedule were looking to hire twins. As fate would have it Grace got ill, and Faith tried out herself and although she didn't get the part because of Grace not being there, it opened the door for Faith to a commercial; then a TV show; then a TV movie; then a 3 year run on a semi-successful sit-com. However, once the show was cancelled Faith left it all behind, literally, and disappeared off grid, sick of Hollywood.
That was 10 years ago. Grace's story has been a longer, hard road that included a lot of waitress jobs, some dinner theatre (because of her name and lookalike appearance to her semi-famous sister), a failed attempt to become a writer, a failed attempt to be a nurse, and a failed attempt to be a wife. Now working as a short skirted receptionist in a car dealership Grace got one more "boy you look just like...", and this time Grace decided she had enough. Grace picked up her things and moved to Hollywood, if people saw her and thought she was Faith, and since Faith refuses to answer her letters or contact her, then let them believe she is Faith. It's time Grace started to live the life she should have had, the life she would never have walked away from.
The show is said to be looking to hire a diverse cast with a black, or Asian lead (Grace).
