This is where I post the shows that I plan to check out from each network…kind of throw them all together. I will also add cable shows in to my schedule after finishing the network up fronts.
ALL TIMES ARE CST NOT EST
Monday
7pm Gotham (FOX)…the best new show of 2014-15 comes back in the same slot
9pm Blindspot (NBC) (NEW)…looks good, most promising new NBC show, a bit Da Vinci code like
9pm Lucifer (FOX)…late season start, looks okay but can't see it lasting
Tuesday
7:00pm The Flash (CW)...in the words of Sheldon Cooper I am still struggling with this one, I watched the first few and now have about 15 on PVR to watch. I will watch some of them over the summer and decide whether to continue with this or get rid of it. I'm heavily leaning towards not watching it next year.
7:30pm Grinder (FOX) (NEW)…Rob Lowe, Fred Savage, and William Devane make this show worth checking out. The trailer looks good too.
9:00pm Wicked City (ABC) (NEW)...sins of L.A., maybe the show I'm most looking forward to this year but its scheduled as a mid-season "gap" show..
Wednesday
7:30pm The Goldbergs (ABC)..3rd season, I found last year the first couple episodes were the best, then a bit of doldrums, then it picked up again. My favorite sit-com now, its ahead of Big Bang Theory
8pm Law & Order: SVU (NBC)..a staple for me. They have done a good job in shaking things up a bit over the past 2 seasons.
Thursday
7:00pm The Big Bang Theory (CBS) will start on Monday's at 7pm again because of football
9:00pm How To Get Away With Murder (ABC)...watched last season, still a bit iffy on this one, might give up on it before the end of the year
Friday
8:00pm Hawaii Five-0 (CBS)..glad it got renewed, perfect Friday night fluff..like Miami Vice in the 80's, nice scenery too, means more once you've been to Hawaii
Sunday
8:00pm Oil (ABC) (NEW)...I'm so close to the issues on hand I will probably check it out, and to see how Don Johnson is, but I don't have high hopes. The real stories of these people are probably more interesting then fiction
9:00pm CSI: Cyber (CBS)...well in their wisdom after killing off CBS with the terrible time delays and preemption after football slot, now they stuck the Cyber version here. This show is only so-so and with my PVR busy on the best cable slot of the week, this show may become dead to me
possible additions
SUPERSTORE….NBC…reminds me a bit of my "Buy More" and "Baggers". I prefer workplace comedies over family so I will wait for the commercials and decide. No time slot announced yet.
Game of Silence…NBC…might be pretty cool or could go nowhere. I will wait for the commercials and see how the rest of the shows fare to see if there is room to check this out.
Houdini & Doyle…FOX…of course I will watch this show being a huge fan of Houdini, but right now its not on the schedule so we'll see if it makes it to air. It is reported to have received a 10-episode blind order.
American Crime...ABC...not on the schedule but will watch for sure. One of the best shows on TV this year, a hard watch, but worth it. Has to be PVR and watched when you can concentrate.
