Updates have been scarce, but here is how some of the shows are doing.
Monday
8:00pm LIVING WELL (NEW) 0.73 avg
Big Bang Theory starting on Mondays before moving to Thursdays, the success of Gotham, and the reality shows DWTS and Voice haven't left much ground for this show. While it hasn't been officially cancelled yet, the season order has been reduced to 16 episodes and likely will not be back after March.
8:30pm Another Teen Vampire Show (season 3) 1.26 avg
The show is starting to hit the doldrums and has slipped a bit. A weak lead in didn't help. It's a toss-up as to whether it will be renewed for the all critical 4th season. However, due to the lack of new show developments and the overall malaise of the network, unless the network changes things up drastically, it is likely to get a face lift and a 4th and 5th season.
9:00pm Night Shift (season 6) 1.30 avg
The success of Scorpion and Sleepy Hollow have hurt it a bit but the show seems to have hit its stride. More is changing then is usual for a sit-com and that should help get it through this year. A season 7 is a virtual lock.
9:30pm Tuesday's Gone (season 4) 1.46 avg
This show has really hit its stride due to the viewers continued love affair with Amanda Peet and the guest run by Jennifer Garner as her sister. Guaranteed to be renewed for season 5.
10:00pm HAVANA (NEW) 1.22 avg
Despite very strong competition from Blacklist, NCIS LA, and Castle, the show has added viewers almost every week as character depth, suspense, and intrigue build. Because the back drop of pre-revolutionary Cuba is real viewers know where the show is heading, and can rest assured that it is not a dead end show. This was boosted by the network coming out and committing to a full season, and the promise of wrapping up the show and not leaving it hang. Having said all that it has a ways to go to be viable.
Tuesday
8:00pm Buy More (season 3) 1.25 avg
There have been strong rumors all year that this will be the show's last season due to actors and behind the scenes people wanting to move on. However it has been helped by the lack of interest in the ABC comedy Selfie.
8:30pm Anthem (season 4) 0.88 avg
Anthem has jumped the shark, and probably should not have been brought back for a season 4. The season order has been shortened to 16 episodes and will likely not return after March. Having said that there is talk of a season 5 to run in the summer of 2016, or Spring of 2016, so that syndication can be made easier.
9:00pm ALOHA (NEW) 0.62 avg
Interestingly enough Aloha means not only Hello but also Goodbye, so this show might be saying goodbye soon. Ratings are abysmal. This is another show where only 16 episodes were ordered.
10:00pm Night Moves (season 2) 1.41 avg
The Rock of Ages clone continues to progress, while trying not to be an older generation's version of "Glee". Viewership continues to build and its competition is relatively weak with Forever, Person of Interest, and Chicago Fire. One of the network's shining stars and a season 3 is a virtual lock.
Wednesday
8:00pm Hollywood RHD (season 3) 1.21 avg
The Michael Connolly adaptation continues to plod along. It benefits from its competition being very different genres and styles. However, its due or die time as season 4 progresses and this dog doesn't seem to want to hunt. This one could go either way for next year but a move to Friday may be needed.
9:00pm Stoops (season 2) 1.33 avg
This show benefits from the name Shonda Rhimes as well as being contrarian content to the competition. The show listened to feedback and made the show a bit edgier and nastier then originally intended. If Shondaland wants this show to continue for season 3, it will.
10:00pm Greatest Hits (season 4) 1.79 avg
Liberty's biggest success and most talked about show. Has been helped by weak competition; Chicago PD, Nashville, Stalker. It is #1 in its timeslot!! You can bet on a season 5.
Thursday
8:00pm DO OVER (NEW) 1.19 avg
While ratings have been very low for the show, it is a fairly cerebral effort and the network has preached patience. Stiff competition with NFL, Big Bang, Grey's, Vampire Diaries, Bones, Biggest Loser...instead of looking at it like a disaster the network believes the low expectations of the time slot are good. They plan on featuring it in encore summer presentations, which means it certainly looks like they are planning on a season 2...maybe in a different time slot?
9:00pm Detroit 1-8-7 (season 5) 1.20 avg
Well, they got the season 5 they wanted, and this show continues to only tread water. Incredibly the network seems posed to stay behind it for a season 6 but are talking of a shortened season. Someone seems to have naked pictures of someone they are holding?
10:00pm DERAILED (NEW) 1.27 avg
A serial like Under the Dome or Heroes that seems to have a loyal following and is building. The little guy against the big government machine seems to be pulling people in. The fact that it is beating Elementary (CBS) in the ratings must really pick at the Columbia people. It looks certain for a season 2 at this point.
Friday
8:00pm The Next Level (season 2) 0.55 avg
low ratings, but its a Friday show, a reality show, lots of corporate sponsorships. Whether it comes back or not probably has as much to do with those sponsors and the network's direction as it does the ratings. So its a toss-up.
10:00pm Macabre (season 2) 0.86 avg
While the ratings may seem low, the network has to be extremely pleased with the slow uptick trend, as they fight with NBC's continual attempt to grab the Friday night genre crowd (Dracula, Crossbones, Constantine...). The show also performs well on other platforms which is a bonus. It also drives with great demos and lots of web traffic. Again it depends on the network direction but it looks like a season 3 is a lock, and if Next Level does not come back, or comes back as an hour, its possible that Macabre could actually grab a 2 hour block of time.
Saturday
8:00pm Movie
10:30pm **encore sit-coms**
Sunday
7:00pm **encore dramas**
8:00pm Liberty X (season 5) 0.62 avg
The network seems determined to hold onto this news magazine show that tries to lure in younger viewers then 60 minutes. Season 6 is a sure bet unless the whole night is repurposed.
9:00pm Wildwood (season 3) 1.25 avg
Ratings are slipping and this Shondaland show may need a major shake-up if it is to get the greenlight for the all important season 4. Odds right now are pretty much 50/50.
10:00pm Shivers (season 5) 1.53 avg
Ratings actually dipped a bit for the 5th and final season of the show which has been discontinued both for artistic and personnel reasons as well as financial. Expect ratings to increase for the final run and conclusion in May.
Mid-Season / Replacement
Channel 97 (season 6)
**May take over for either LIVING WELL or ANTHEM after March Madness.
Coconut Detective Agency is a dramedy featuring light hearted mysteries set in picturesque by day, seedy by night Key West Florida
**May replace ALOHA on Tuesdays starting after March Madness.
Rio Beer is a sit-com about a young Brazilian beer executive sent to Philadelphia to run a small brewery that the giant South American conglomerate has acquired
**May take over from DO OVER on Thursdays after March Madness.
