Doug Somers defeated Jason Anderson by pinfall
Steve Disalvo defeated The Unknown Soldier by pinfall
The Trooper defeated John Nord by pinfall
Dirty White Boy (/w Dirty White Girl) defeated Jim Brunzell by pinfall
**after outside interference by The Trooper
Televised
Special announcement; RCW Heavyweight champion Paul Orndorff has a separated shoulder that will keep him out of action for a couple months. Therefore, he is vacating the Heavyweight title. Steve Disalvo comes out to gloat about injuring the champ, and to demand the title be given to him. The fans come to their feet though when Don Muraco comes to the ring to get into Disalvo's face. Don Muraco is apparently back in RCW! He says Orndorff was a true champ, and a real man, unlike the idiot Disalvo. Baron von Raschke continues on while the two men have a stare down. He says that on August 4th there will be a special one night 16-man tournament to declare a new champion.
Don Muraco defeated Russian Brute by pinfall after a Gorilla Press slam at 5:20
**another former RCW Heavyweight champion returns to RCW, this time Muraco returns as a fan favorite
#1 contenders match for TV title
Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Night Stalker (/w Ox Baker) by pinfall after a diving splash at 7:42
**with the promise of a title shot in the wings the two behemoths behaved themselves compared to their last encounter. Bigelow just proved to be the superior wrestler and rallied time and time again before picking up the win. Neither man is popular with the fans but Bigelow received the majority of the cheers in this bout.
RCW Television Title Match
Tommy Jammer defeated The Soultaker (/w Nick Bockwinkel) by pinfall after a Jammer Slammer at 7:09
[Tommy Jammer Won the RCW Television Title]
**a big upset for Jammer. When Bockwinkel got involved in this match many eyes turned to see if John Nord would come help out Jammer but he did not appear. Jammer had to overcome both his massive opponent as well as the legendary manager. In the end though courage and youthful energy carried the day.
**after the match both John Nord and Jim Brunzell came out to congratulate the new champion, and there is obviously some friction between those two men.
Main Event
RCW Tag Team Title Match
Biff Wellington & Ben Bassarab defeated Texas Hangmen Psycho & Killer (/w Nick Bockwinkel) by disqualification due to outside interference at 10:31
[Texas Hangmen retain the RCW Tag Team Titles]
**Bockwinkel seemed very flustered after just having his TV champion Soultaker lose his belt and seemed determined not to have the same thing happen here. However he went overboard and ended up causing the DQ when he got caught passing Psycho a roll of coins.
