Opening Bout
Brad Armstrong defeated the Croatian Giant by submission to the figure-four leglock at 7:25
-tough bout but Armstrong got his revenge and an upset loss to the Croatian last week
Bout #2
Brad Rheinghans defeated Brian Jewel by pinfall after an Olympic suplex (cradle suplex) at 6:46
-Jewel is still a notch below being a roster regular.
Post-Match:
As Rheinghans walked up the aisle to the back, shaking hands with fans as he went, Jewel caught up to him and attacked him from behind. While Jewel has shown a bit more of an aggressive side as of late, since teaming with Wahoo, this was unexpected by Rheinghans and the fans. Jewel smashed Rheinghans head into the guardrail and then grabbed a chair out of the audience which he also used on Rheinghans.
Bout #3
Nick & Kelly Kiniski (/w Lisa Caress) defeated Yoshi Yatsu & Mr. Ho by submission when Kelly made Ho submit to the abdominal stretch at 5:30
-Mr. Ho was the weak link here, out of ring shape and out of his league. No word on why he was in the ring instead of King Tonga.
Bout #4
Bobby Duncum defeated David Schultz by pinfall after a bulldog at 11:31
-very tough, hard fought contest with both men getting busted open as a result of their brawling outside the ring. Duncum caught Schultz with a running knee to the back as Dr D tried to get back into the ring. He then tossed him into the ringsteps. Back inside he hit the bulldog to pick up the win. After his big Battle Royale win last week this match just cements Duncum's claim as a threat to Jerry Blackwell's title.

Bout #5
RCW TV Title Match
Tod Hestrerey defeated Ben Bassarab by pinfall after an airplane spin into a slam at 9:40
[Tod Hestrerey wins the RCW TV Title]
-a bit of an upset as Tod was seen as a guy on the cusp of big things, but Bassarab was looking solid as a champion and as a rulebreaker who has really come into his own the past year.
Bout #6
RCW Tag Team Title Match
Fabulous Ones (Stan Lane & Steve Keirn) defeated Masked Superstar & Super Destroyer by disqualification at 8:27
[Masked Superstar & Super Destroyer retain the RCW Tag Team Titles]
-when the Fabs had control of the match MS decided things had gone far enough and when Keirn bounced off the ropes MS caught him from outside the ring by jabbing a steel chair into the back of his calf. SD then threw Kerin over the top rope and tried to distract ref Buddy Lane and fend off Stan Lane while his partner hit Keirn twice more on the knee with the steel chair. Lane saw and called for the DQ. Kerin had to be helped to the back by Buddy and Stan Lane.

CAGE MATCH
RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Bob Backlund defeated Jerry Blackwell by pinfall after an atomic drop at 6:31
[Bob Backlund wins the RCW Heavyweight Title]
-Big night tonight with both the TV Title and now the Heavyweight Title changing hands. This was a short but very intense match. About half way through the match Dr D David Schultz came down to the ring to cheer on Bob Backlund who at this point was losing the match. As Backlund lay face down on the mat, his head bleeding, Schultz distracted Blackwell with threats. He tried to climb the cage but Blackwell ran into the inside of the cage, bumping Schultz off. However the distraction allowed Backlund to recover. After a short flurry, it looked like Backlund was about to make a mistake and try and slam Blackwell. Blackwell just laughed at Backlund, until the agile challenger ducked between his legs, and then using his own very powerful legs, got into a bicycle kick position and sent Blackwell head first into the cage wall. He caught him on the rebound and rolled him up for 1, 2, Kickout. He then nailed Blackwell with an atomic drop, sending him once more hard into the cage wall, and rolled him up for a second time, this time getting the 3 count and the title belt.
Post-Match:
Backlund celebrated his title win and invited Schultz into the cage with him. The two raised their hands to the appreciative crowd. Schultz stared down at the Heavyweight title and then proceeded to take the title from Backlund - only to wrap it around his waist. Schultz gave a conspiratorial look to the audience however as the broadcast came to an end.

Coconut Willie defeated Little Brutus by disqualification when Little Brutus gave Willie a headbutt to little Willie at 4:53
-the midgets are always a fan favorite
Bout #3
Brad Rheinghans defeated Brian Jewel by pinfall after an Olympic suplex at 6:06
-Jewel gave Rheinghans a good match, but the normally placid technician was spurred on by vengeance for the post-match beating he received last week by Jewel.
Post-Match:
As Rheinghans had his hand raised by referee Wyatt Hall after the match he was attacked from behind by Wahoo McDaniel. McDaniel had a strap and began to beat Rheinghans across the back until Larry Hennig made the save. Wahoo and Hennig are already signed for a strap match later tonight. Hennig cut a promo in the ring after Wahoo & Jewel had taken off, saying he was going to beat Wahoo within an inch of his life tonight. But now, after what he did to his friend Brad he has decided to beat him that extra inch tonight too.
Bout #4
RCW Television Title Match (re-match)
Tod Hestrerey defeated Ben Bassarab by disqualification for outside interference at 0:31.
-Chris Lyon hit the ring when the match was still getting going. He helped Bassarab lay a two on one beating on the champ until RCW officials arrived to break it up.
Post-Match:
Lyon apologized to Bassarab for getting him disqualified but he said he just couldn't help it; when he saw that stupid greasy haired mute in the ring he saw red and attacked. Bassarab just laughs and says he enjoyed delivering the beating too, and demands another title shot at Hestrerey next week.
[end of first hour]
Pre-Match: Fabulous One, Stan Lane comes to the ring. He's accompanied by his partner Steve Kerin who has a knee wrapped and is walking with crutches. They cut a promo on the tag champs for having dodged them once more, and now hurting Keirn. Lane says he challenges Masked Superstar to come out to the ring now and face him one on one. After a bit of a pause the masked tag champ does just that.
Bout #5
Stan Lane defeated Masked Superstar by pinfall after a superkick at 7:20
-With Steve Kerin sitting at the annouce table Lane controlled much of this match based on pure emotion. The match spilled outside though where the Masked Superstar took over. Then his tag partner Super Destroyer came out and in an effort to distract Lane as he made a comeback, SD began to harass Keirn. But Kerin just reached back grabbed a crutch and ~waffled~ SD in the head, dropping him like a cheating girlfriend. This actually proved to be a distraction for Masked Superstar who turned around into an atomic drop, which was followed by the superkick and the pin.
Bout #6
RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Bob Backlund defeated Bobby Duncum by pinfall after an atomic drop at 10:46
[Bob Backlund retains the RCW Heavyweight Title]
-This was the title shot earned by Duncum for winning the September Battle Royale. He did not make the most of it and Backlund sailed to an impressive victory. Former champion Jerry Blackwell however is still waiting in the wings.

He says he can't wait and wants them both in the ring tonight, even if it has to be a handi-cap match.

-very evenly matched but the veteran managed to use his questionable forearm brace to pick up the win
Bout #3
Re-Match Midet Action !!
Coconut Willie defeated Little Brutus by pinfall after a diving headbutt at 4:13
-Little Brutus tried a repeat of last week, trying to headbutt Willie on the groin. This time though Willie managed to absorb it and fire back with a knee to the gut, followed by a gutwrench suplex and then the diving headbutt to pick up the duke. After the match he pulled down his pants to reveal a jock. He then removed the cup and put it over the mouth and nose of his fallen opponent, much to the pleasure of the crowd.
Bout #4
Stan Lane defeated Super Destroyer by pinfall after a Superplex at 11:25
-referee George Gadasky sent both Steve Keirn (still on crutches) and Masked Superstar to the back. This was a very hard fought contest that saw Lane get busted open half way through when his head collided with the outside of the steel ring post. Destroyer was trying to get the job done that his partner Masked Superstar was unable to do last week; beat Lane. SD managed to avoid a loss when he grabbed onto the ropes to duck away from a superkick. But a minute later and Lane had him up on the top turnbuckle and brought him down to the mat with his fallen partner's finishing move.
[end of first hour]
Bout #5
Larry Hennig & Brad Rheinghans defeated Wahoo McDaniel & Brian Jewel by pinfall when Hennig pinned Jewel after the Big Axe chop at 8:34
-Hennig and Rheinghans looked very good as a team in this match.
Bout #6
Handi-Cap Match
Ben Bassarab & Chris Lyon defeated Tod Hestrerey by pinfall when Lyon pinned Hestrerey after Bassarab nailed him with a flying cross body block at 10:44
-Hestrerey gave them everything they could handle and 3 times the rulebreakers had to break up attempted pin attempts to keep the match alive. Eventually however the numbers were too great and Bassarab used a double team situation to nail his finisher on Hestrerey even though he wasn't the legal man in the ring.

Main Event
Bobby Duncum & Jerry Blackwell defeated Bob Backlund & David Schultz by referee's decision at 13:05
-Backlund had a good series against Duncum, and then tagged in Schultz who continued to dominate. However when Blackwell got tagged in things changed as the behemoth used a headbutt to start an offensive flurry. Schultz tagged out to Backlund who fared no better, and Blackwell, and then Duncum worked over the RCW champ's back. Schultz managed to tag in and turned things around, but when he tagged back out Backlund injured his back more trying to scoop Blackwell. After getting his back pounded for a couple minutes he managed a tag out to Schultz. However Dr. D found himself double teamed by Duncum and Blackwell while Backlund could do nothing but lie on the ring apron trying to rest his back. Blackwell worked over Schultz's back, and then turned to his head. Duncum busted Schultz open above the eyebrow and Dr D was getting wobbly. The two men continued to take turns working over Schultz. When Backlund would stand, support himself on the ropes and yell for a tag he was in obvious pain, barely able to stand. Still Schultz tried to make the tag but his opponents had cut the ring in half, and then distracted the ref once when a tag had been made. Neither Blackwell or Duncum tried for a pin attempt and continued to hammer away at the bloodied and battered Schultz. Finally, after several warnings referee George Gadasky called it a night, awarding the match to Blackwell and Duncum. The beating of course did not end there and the villians risked a reverse decision. They also went after Backlund who had entered the ring but was hurting. They double teamed him with a backbreaker. Finally the scientific lockeroom cleared out as the boys came out to rescue Schultz and Backlund.

-Nick got a measure of revenge for his singles loss last week to Sharpe.
Interview:
The Fabulous Ones, Stan Lane and Steve Keirn come to the ring. They ask the Kiniski brothers to stay as well. Keirn updates that his injury is going to keep him out of the ring 1 or 2 more weeks. Lane says they have cemented their status as the #1 challengers. However, next week the champions, Super Destroyer and Masked Superstar are forced to defend their tag belts or get stripped under the 30 day rule. Lane tells the Kiniski brothers that the Fabs have been watching them and give them a double thumbs up. Lane says the Kiniski brothers have the same mix of charisma and ability that the Fabs do...except with the Fabs its 50/50 each guy, with the Kiniski's, not so much. That aside they tell the Kiniskis that they will get that title shot next week, so make the best of it. The four men shake hands.
Bout #3
Bobby Duncum defeated Monty Black by pinfall after a bulldog at 3:56
-squash match
Interview:
Bob Backlund and David Schultz are interviewed by Mike Stone who plays the antagonist. The fan favorites do the usual promise of revenge for the beating they received last week from Duncum and Blackwell. Backlund is still nursing a bad back while Schultz has not been cleared to wrestle yet because he had a concussion. Backlund says that despite his bad back he wants Blackwell so bad that he is going to give him a title re-match in tonight's main event!
When Stone starts to taunt Backlund asking if he can trust Schultz, Backlund says the two have been hanging out with each other this past week and each has been teaching the other some new things. Backlund says he hopes some of his integrity is wearing off on Schultz, and that he hopes to pick up some of Schultz' killer instinct that he will need tonight.
Schultz though takes the opposite tract. He thanks Backlund for his friendship but he says a leopard doesn't change its spots. With his head held down Schultz tells Backlund that he can't be trusted. He says he's going to leave the arena right now, that he won't have the champ's back for tonight, because he's afraid he would just as easily attack it as defend it.
Backlund is left in stunned silence as Schultz leaves.

RCW Heavyweight Title Match
Bob Backlund defeated Jerry Blackwell by disqualification for outside interference at 6:43
[Bob Backlund retains the RCW Heavyweight Title]
-Despite having a back injury Baclund gave Blackwell nothing. He countered, evaded, and once he got Blackwell off his feet he held him down with armbars and leglocks. Blackwell was out of gas and signalled to the back. Suddenly the RCW tag team champions Masked Superstar & Super Destroyer came running down to the ring and attacked Backlund 3 on 1. That was over a thousand pounds of men pounding away at the already ailing champion. With Dr. D not in the building there was no immediate help for Backlund. Stan Lane came running down to the ring but he suffered a beat down too. With the carnage complete and RCW officials threatening suspensions the attack finally stopped.
Blackwell then reached into the pocket of his warm-up jacket and pulled out a wad of cash. He divied up the cash between the tag champions who seemed very pleased with the arrangement.
