Opening Bout:
Brad Rheinghans defeated Goldie Rogers by pinfall after the Olympic suplex at 4:05
-squash match
Post-Match Interview:
Brad Rheinghans is still upset at the Della Serra Brothers for their sneak attack on him after his victory last week against Rocky Della Serra. He challenges them to a tag team match next week. He says he won’t keep the fans in suspense and announces his tag partner will be his long time friend, Steve Olsonoski!!
Bout #2
Tawney England defeated Allyson Amerman by pinfall after a DDT at 6:49
-Tawney was nursing her sore wrist throughout this match and it almost cost her the victory. Only an out of the blue DDT saved her the embarrassment of losing to an unknown.
Miss Hartel’s Bistro (/w special guest Ben Bassarab)
Hartel makes it sound like a rags to riches story for Bassarab’s climb to the top, where he will now face Butch Reed for the TV title at the 5th Anniversary show. She calls him an undersized underdog. She begins to ask him about being punched out last week after the main event by Reed. Bassarab says it was an accident, that Reed just came up swinging. Hartel tries to plant the seeds of doubt in Bassarab’s mind saying that Reed sees him as a threat.
Butch Reed comes out. He offers an apology to Bassarab, saying he didn’t know who he was punching at, he was confused and hurt. Hartel urges Bassarab to get even and slug Reed. But after some hesitation he accepts Reed’s apology and then they shake hands.
Billy Robinson and Dynamite Kid arrive on the scene next. Robinson says that it’s a miracle that Bassarab finally has made it to the top. Well not really a miracle, but an awakening. He used to be part of the “walk over me” club, but Robinson says that cheating has allowed Bassarab’s more aggressive side to reach the top. He offers his mentorship and managerial services to Bassarab. Now its Reed’s turn to try and talk Bassarab out of something. Finally, Bassarab just shakes off both Reed and Robinson without another word.
Bout #3
Richard Charland defeated El Falcon by pinfall after a piledriver at 5:21
-squash match.
Bout #4
Corrie England defeated Rhonda Singh by pinfall after a sunset flip at 7:20
-very competitive and even match, but England made the most of a telegraphed backbody drop by Singh to pull out the victory.
Interview:
The Triumvirate come to the ring in force. Chris Lyon, Bobby Duncum, Tawney and Corrie England. Lyon and Duncum congratulate Corrie on a big victory (they then throw in a few fat jokes at Rhonda’s expense). Chris then addresses Tawney. He says its time for Tawney to be a team player and to do what is best for the group. He says its obvious that she is less then 100% and she should allow Corrie to substitute for her at the 5th Anniversary show in her title match against Natasha. At first Tawney says no, that her injury isn’t that bad and she will be ready for the match. When that doesn’t change Lyon’s opinion she starts to suggest that Corrie has Duncum wrapped around her little finger, and that Lyon should be standing up for her against them. He says that isn’t the case, that this is the team, and it’s a team decision. He says he can’t make Tawney give the title shot to Corrie but it’s the right thing to do for the group. Corrie then gives a little impassioned speech about how she’s always looked up to Tawney and tried to emulate her. She says Tawney is already a 2 time RCW Women’s champion and that all she wants to do is make a little bit of a legacy for herself. Finally Tawney cracks and says okay, and gives her title shot to Corrie. Lyon and Corrie give her a big hug. They try and call Duncum in for a group hug but the big Texan won’t have anything to do with it, launching a loogie across the ring instead.
They then turn their attention to Bad News Allen. Lyon says that he enjoyed whipping some obedience into Allen last week, but apparently he didn’t get to finish the job as Allen was still mouthing off after the match about wanting to kill Lyon. Well Lyon says that Allen can have a match against him at the 5th Anniversary show, but only if he can beat Bobby Duncum now. Bad News Allen comes out to take the challenge.
Bout #5
Bad News Allen defeated Bobby Duncum by countout at 5:30
-Allen was a house o’fire and finally Duncum and Corrie England got tired of being made a human piñata and just walked away.
[end of first hour]
Bout #6
Angelo Mosca v Chris Lyon (/w Tawney England)
Mosca controlled the first few minutes, with punches, kicks, bearhugs, and bodyslams. He went for his elbowsmash finisher but Lyon moved at the last second and took the shot off of his shoulder instead. He left the ring for a break, and a massage from Tawney. Of course Mosca followed him out and threw him bad shoulder first into the ringsteps. Back inside he worked over the shoulder but failed to get a pinfall or submission. Lyon left the ring again for a break, and again Mosca followed. Lyon though ducked back into the ring and then caught Mosca coming in with a forearm to the head. Lyon took control of the match punishing King Kong in the lower back. He got him into the Boston Crab but Mosca was able to bridge and power out of it. Lyon tried to hit the slingshot suplex but Mosca was too big and blocked the move. Mosca went on the offensive now, whipping Lyon from pillar to post. This lasted until Tawney got a chance to cheat, pulling down the bottom rope which sent Mosca over the top to the floor below. Unfortunately referee Wyatt Hall saw the indiscretion and called for the bell.
Angelo Mosca defeated Chris Lyon by disqualification for outside interference at 9:27
Pre-Match:
Miss Hartel comes to the ring with King Tonga to a round of jeers. Hartel says that Tonga is going to dominate and rule RCW, but she wants it sooner rather then later. Last week such nuisances as Keith Hart, Leon Fortier and Pino Cirella tried to get in the way. Well tonight Tonga wants to rid himself of those nuisances. Hartel challenges the Hart Brothers, Fortier and Cirella to come down to the ring and take on Tonga 4 on 1.
Bout #7
Handi-Cap Match – Texas Tornado Style
Keith Hart, Bret Hart, Leon Fortier, and Pino Cirella
V
King Tonga (/w Miss Hartel)
Well that’s a bit misleading because at first just Fortier and Cirella took her up on the challenge. For the first minute of this match they unsuccessfully tried to take out Tonga. Then Bret Hart came running into the ring in street clothes. It was now 3 on 1, as they backed Tonga into a corner. They tried taking turns but Tonga matched them blow for blow. Then they tried tying him up but he was too strong and kept tossing them off and then landing a few standing side kicks. With his brother in trouble Keith Hart finally came out to the ring. He flew into the corner catching Tonga in the head with a forearm. Bret rolled out of the ring and grabbed a hold of Tonga’s legs and tried to trip him down. He didn’t succeed but it did allow Fortier and Cirella to pin Tonga while Keith peppered in a few more forearm shots.
Suddenly the fans were on their feet as Abdullah the Butcher came down to the ring. Seeing the madman from the Sudan Miss Hartel rolled into the ring and into a neutral corner. Abby slowly entered the ring which was all the distraction that Tonga needed to slap aside Cirella, and then plant a chokehold on both Keith Hart and Leon Fortier.
Abdullah went right for Cirella who was just getting to his feet. Abby punched him, gave him a headbutt and then a big splash. Keith Hart jumped on Abby's back with a sleeperhold but Abby just smashed Keith back into a turnbuckle. Tonga in the meantime devastated Fortier with a chokeslam. Bret Hart rolled into the ring and was going right after Abby but Tonga caught him with a sidekick. He then whipped him to Abby who took him down with a thundering powerslam. All 4 men were down but referee Kenny Jay called for the bell and threw the match out.
No-contest at 4:19
Post-Match:
Miss Hartel had to rally the troops and convince her men to back off and retreat to the back. From the aisleway Hartel turned back to the ring with a mic, as the Hart Brothers helped each other to their feet. Hartel said her men King Tonga and Abdullah the Butcher challenge the Hart Brothers to a tag team title match at the 5th Anniversary show. Keith and Bret just nodded their acceptance.
Main Event
Non-Title Match
Jim Brunzell v Dynamite Kid (/w Billy Robinson)
Robinson distracted Brunzell before the bell which allowed DK to Pearl Harbour him and take the early advantage. Dkid worked a front chancery that he kept slipping into a chokehold until referee George Gadasky would catch him. Kid continued the punishment with a ribbreaker right on the champ’s injured side, followed by an elbowdrop from the second turnbuckle. A pair of snap suplexes followed by a belly-to-belly got the challenger a 2 count. He went for all the marbles with a Superplex from the top, but Brunzell fought him off, knocking him back into the ring. They now traded the advantage back and forth and came off the ropes at each other several times. The match spilled outside and into the vicinity of Robinson which caused Gadasky to get right in there and back Robinson away. However, this allowed Dkid an undetected kick to the groin. He then rammed Brunzell back first into the ring apron and then smacked him hard with a punch to the injured ribs. Back inside though Brunzell blocked a suplex attempt with his leg, and then turned it into a reverse neckbreaker. Now it was the champ’s turn to hit some offense with a pair of dropkicks, a monkey flip, and a back body drop. Brunzell sent DK to the ropes and laid out a flying dropkick, but DK held onto the ropes so the champ hit nothing but air. Dk kicked Brunzell in the gut and then took him over with a snap suplex. He then gave him a headbutt drop and covered for a 2 count. DK backed Brunzell against the ropes and chopped him hard across the chest several times. He then came off the opposite ropes and with a full head of steam tried to nail Brunzell with a cross body block. But the champ arched his back, and when the two collided it looked for a moment like they would both flip over the top rope. However, Brunzell managed to shift his weight enough to come back down on his feet, while DK went over the top and landed right on Robinson who had come over to try and help his man. Brunzell left the ring to bring DK back inside. He whipped him off the ropes and this time nailed him with a perfect flying dropkick to the chin. DK was out cold, and the champ got the 1, 2, Billy Robinson came in and dropped a knee on Brunzell to break up the pin.
Jim Brunzell defeated Dynamite Kid by disqualification for outside interference at 10:48
Post-Match:
Robinson hoisted Brunzell in the air and brought him down with a ribbreaker. He held Brunzell’s side over his knee for a couple seconds before releasing the hold. He stomped a few more times at Brunzell and then put him in a half-nelson exposing the injured ribcage for Dynamite Kid who was now back on his feet. Kid nailed a kick to the ribs of Brunzell, and another…
RAT-A-TAT-TAT I SMELL A RAT, NOT JUST ANY RAT, BUT AN ENGLISH RAT..
The crowd went nuts when they could hear the unmistakable voice over the PA system. Robinson and Dkid immediately released Brunzell and began to look around.
THAT’S RIGHT CALGARY, IT’S YOUR GOOD FRIEND DA CHRUSHER!! NO I CAN’T BE THERE TONIGHT, I’M STILL AT MY HOME IN THE CITY I MADE FAMOUS, MILWAUKEE.. Outside the ring are Angelo Mosca, Steve O, and Brad Rheinghans who have caught Dynamite and Robinson listening intently to the voice recording. They enter the ring and go right after the duo with fists a flying.

Bout #1
North-South Connection: (Rick McGraw & Billy Joe Travis)
V
King Tonga & Abdullah the Butcher (/w Miss Hartel)
As could be expected this was a bit of a squash match. Tonga started the match and had some fun at the expense of Travis. Finally he tossed Travis into the far corner so that McGraw could make the tag in. Tonga also tagged in Abby. It was the butcher’s turn to have some fun, this time at the expense of McGraw. Abby worked over McGraw and could have had the pin but again he allowed him to tag in Travis, who fared no better against Abby. Tonga though was expecting the tag in and didn’t get it. He then tagged himself in by smacking Abby hard across the back. This of course set off Abby, and he slugged Tonga. In fact the two went right after each other, a battle that spilled outside. Despite the attempts by Hartel to control them they would not heed her words and Tonga was counted out as he battled Abby.
McGraw & Travis defeated Tonga & Abby by countout at 6:42
Post-Match: Eventually these tag “partners” allowed Hartel to get between then and take them to the back without further incident.
Interview:
Bad News Allen is pleased that he will be getting Chris Lyon at the 5th Anniversary show, but says he isn’t interested in a normal match with the way it measures a win or loss. He wants some revenge for the humiliation of being whipped, and for the humiliation suffered by Butch Reed when they attempted to hang him. He says he has permission from Marty Goldstein to make this match a Winnipeg North End Streetfight.

Chris Lyon defeated The Destroyer by pinfall following a release German suplex which bounced the Destroyer off the cage wall at 22:47
[Chris Lyon retains the RCW Heavyweight Title]
**Post-match Lyon got on the mic and replying to all the boos he received told the fans off, and that if he had followed them he would be watching the Destroyer still the champion, protected by the promoters. Instead he stands there, bloodied but triumphant. He then calls out his triumverate team mates Mike Valiant and Clarke Roenick, who were unsuccesful tonight in winning the RCW tag titles. While he waits he says he also wouldn't be standing here the champion without their help, and he wants to share the moment of glory with them. However as the two walk down the aisle, they stop half way, and then actually get cheered as they turn their back on Lyon and walk away.
That would of course spell the beginning of the end for the first incarnation of the Triumvirate. Soon Roenick would be gone from RCW and Valiant and Lyon would be bitter enemies. Lyon however would come out on top after adding Bobby Duncum and Angelo Mosca to his group when he formed the second version of the Triumvirate.

Pre-Match:
The announced main event was Jim Brunzell and Butch Reed to take on Dynamite Kid and Billy Robinson. However, after all four men were in the ring together out came Ben Bassarab to the announce table. Robinson asked him if he had reconsidered his offer of taking him under his wing. Bassarab said no he hadn’t but thought it was unfair that Reed was getting a warm-up match and that Dynamite Kid was getting another chance to scout his opponent, Brunzell, in the ring tonight. Bassarab chalked it up to RCW not really taking him seriously. Robinson offered his spot in the tag match to Bassarab who after a bit of thought agreed.
Main Event
Jim Brunzell & Butch Reed
V
Dynamite Kid & Ben Bassarab
Brunzell and Kid started off, and it was even with neither man getting an advantage. However, Kid did manage to back Brunzell into their corner and make the tag to Bassarab. Instead of a clean break Kid pinned the champ into the corner and urged Bassarab to cheap shot him. The youngster however refused, and Kid had to release Brunzell. Jumpin’ Jimmy went right to work on Bassarab with a Mexican hip toss, a drop toe hold, and a reverse chinlock. Dkid came in to break the hold and this brought Reed into the fray and we had a four man brawl on our hands. Once it settled out Reed and Dkid were tagged in. Reed went to work with forearms and chops. He backed Dkid into the corner and drove his shoulder into him several times. Off the ropes and Dkid saved himself from a devastating shoulderblock by diving under and then tagging in Bassarab. Reed went right to work on Ben the same way he did with Dkid backing him into the corner. After the break though Bassarab nailed Reed with a kick to the shin, then one to the back of the calf. He caught Reed falling and finished the descent with a DDT. He covered but only got a 2 count. Bassarab tagged out to Dkid who kept up the punishment, but after a minute Reed ducked under a clothesline, and countered with a backslide to get a 2 count, When both men struggled to their feet Reed was up first and took DK down with a clothesline. Both men managed to tag out and we had Brunzell and Bassarab going at it. Brunzell took Bassarab down with a double leg, and then dropped an elbow to the inside of his thigh. He continued to work on the legs of Bassarab, but the youngster fired back by sending the champ hard to the buckle, and then body dropping him on the rebound. Bassarab tagged out to Dkid who told Ben to hold Brunzell down, as he climbed to the top turnbuckle. But Bassarab after a little hesitation refused. Dkid had to climb back down from the turnbuckle and Brunzell got the jump on him. Hiptoss, monkey flip, standing dropkick, standing surfboard, beil throw, headsmash into the turnbuckle, knee drop from the 2nd rope but still only a 2nd count. Brunzell tagged out to Reed who nailed DK with a bodyslam, boot rake, and then a powerslam. Reed covered but only got a 2 count.
Billy Robinson jumped up on the apron and started to complain to referee George Gadasky about Reed’s rough tactics. Bassarab came over on the apron a few feet and tried to convince Robinson to get down from the apron. Reed lined up Dkid and tried to whip him into Robinson, but the Kid reversed the move and whipped Reed instead. However the champ’s path was off from Kid’s and Reed ended up smashing right into Bassarab, knocking him clear and hard off the apron. The collision dazed Reed and Kid caught him with a fisherman suplex into a pin and got the victory.
Dynamite & Bassarab defeated Brunzell & Reed by pinfall when Dynamite pinned Reed after a fisherman suplex at 12:42
Post-Match:
Brunzell went straight over to help his tag partner who it looked like may have a concussion after hitting his head hard into Bassarab. Outside the ring Robinson and Dynamite hoisted a hurting Bassarab onto his feet and they supported his weight, on eon each side as they walked him backstage.
That’s it for another edition..
No, as Brunzell and Reed are pictured walking up the aisle suddenly Bassarab comes running back with a steel chair and ~waffles~ Butch Reed over the head. He tries to do the same to Brunzell but the champ gets his hands up and tries to wrestle the chair away. Dynamite Kid of course is in a second later, smashing an axhandle chop into the ribcage of Brunzell. Now Dynamite is kicking the heck out of a fallen Brunzell while Basaarab does the same thing to Reed. Billy Robinson stands and watches, his arms crossed, a big smile on his face.
See ya on December 13th for the biggest show of the year!!

RCW Heavyweight Title Match
