In this episode Joe meets Alecia on-line, and the carefree young vixen leads him into a game of truth and dare on-line and in the Jersey night which ends up with Joe finding a dead body. He flees just before the police arrive and wonders if Alecia has set him up.

Joe spends a couple of days worrying about the police and the dead body, but when the weekend comes is drawn back into the online Paterson Night. He tries to draw Alecia out, and while she deceives him again this time he has a night he will never forget, full of danger and romance.

A mysterious man named Drew tracks Joe down telling him that Alecia ruined his life too and wants Joe to help him plot revenge against her. Joe confides online to Alecia about Drew who she says is working for a private security firm trying to track her down. The next time Joe logs into his computer Drew's insignia flashes briefly onto his screen before it crashes. Joe hears boots outside his door and someone trying to break in. He escapes out the fire escape only to be apprehended by the Police and told he is being brought in for questioning about a murder.

With his insomnia getting the better of him Joe's insurance company assigns him to Prospect Park a suburb, and his drowsiness makes the commute a dangerous one for Joe. Alecia arranges for her, Joe, and Drew to meet but she stands the two of them up, and things get violent between the two men. The two men have a pipe swinging fight in a parking garage which leaves Drew badly wounded.

Joe receives a flash drive in the mail that he assumes is from Alecia, and on it are instructions that lead him on a scavenger hunt of sorts in the rough streets of Paterson, with the prize being to meet Alecia in return for the items he has been requested to collect. Can Joe stay one step ahead of the enemies he makes and the cops and complete the mission?

Joe finds he is being courted by another sensual player of Paterson Night, a girl named Tiamar. This brings out the jealous side of Alecia who interrupts their nocturnal real life hookup. When Joe finally gets to meet Alecia in real life he is in for a surprise; she is a little person. Their rendezvous is interrupted by a gun touting Drew.
