Liberty Television released a season preview today for season 3 of Havana.
Havana; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty television has renewed "Havana" for a 3rd season this fall, as it will air Monday nights at 10:00pm/9cst, following rookie show "Rollin'". The show has had a 9 episode front order placed but their is an expectation that a full 22 episode season will be requested. The show finished last season with a disappointing 0.8 demo but did skew older.
Last season saw Rick and others flee Cuba as "The Philadelphian" casino was taken over by the Cuban army. Abe who was arrested, and Butler who was shot to death were not so lucky.
In an interview with executive producer Robert Redford and writer/consultant Alex Von Tunzelmann they went as far as to lay out the general plans for a continued storyline for the picturesque drama. Instead of returning to Chicago, Rick will end up in Miami, in the middle of the Cuban ex-pats and their invasion and assassination plots, which will consume most of season 3. A 4th season would shift gears to a re-establishment of the Philadelphian, but this time in Haiti under the watchful eye of the brutal dictator Papa Doc. Haiti's proximity to Cuba, as well as Papa Doc's playing to the U.S's anti-communist sympathies will keep the possibility of a Cuban invasion or Castro assassination alive in the series.
The Monday at 10pm slot will run the drama up against rookie shows from ABC "Conviction", NBC "Timeless", giving way to "Taken" in the winter, and CBS' returning "Scorpion". So while it is a very drama heavy time slot there are no real heavyweights in the lineup. This compares favorably against last year where better known and hyped shows "Castle", "NCIS: Los Angeles", and "Blindspot" were the competition out of the gate. Given the improved landscape and a guest appearance in the first episode by Robert Redford, the network is hoping the show will see improved ratings this season.
Behind the scenes all the top crew have returned, and Alex Von Tunzelmann has been promoted from consultant to co-executive producer. In front of the camera Vincent Curatola who plays Abe returns, which means he might be getting out of jail. Philip Marlatt as Bill Butler is out though, and Moneca Delain "Trick 'r Treat, Lost Boys:The Tribe" as April Frost, and Alex Steele "Degrassi: Next Generation" as Angela Preston (Rick's daughter) are in. As mentioned Robert Redford will guest star in the season premiere, while Rick Roberts and Bruce Gray have landed story arcs, and Victoria Smurfit reprises her role as Gloria Smith in a recurring role as does Sasha Barrese as Elena. Dominic Chianese's role as Abe's mafia boss Mr. Borges gets an expanded look as does Anthony Ramos' role of Alex Acosta.

Liberty television released its preview for the 8th season of Night Shift today.
Night Shift; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty television returns to the C-store for an 8th season of zany small town goodness, at a new night, Tuesdays at 8:00pm/7cst. A full season of 22 episodes has been ordered and the network hopes to see a slight increase in the ratings at the new time zone; somewhere in the 1.1-1.3 demo. However, competition at the timeslot is brutally strong, so holding steady at 1.0-1.1 might be seen as a success. The show moves from 9pm on Monday's following Buy More and Another Teen Vampire Show, to leading off Tuesdays. The show will still act as the lead-in for Tuesday's Gone which follows Night Shift moving from Monday to Tuesday.
Last season saw major character developments and this season looks to follow the same path. The C-store is rebuilt with a more modern facelift (which all the small town folk are amazed at, but profess to hate) after last season's finale where Jim accidently burned it to the ground. John is set to resign as Sheriff and the town will contract Sarah from the state to fill in on a contract basis, which allows Daniel and Sarah to pick up from where they left off. Cecilia and Milton are in town giving it another try. John and Darvesh will both work at the C-store part time while the former starts his own business in nature recordings, and the latter continues toward his medical degree. Olaf and Jim decide to prove themselves to Daniel by coming up with various hare brained money making schemes. Oh yeah, and there is a haunted slushie machine in the store.
Competition at the time slot consists of "The Middle" on ABC which moves from Wednesday to Tuesday, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine from FOX both of which will directly compete with Night Shift for viewers; the NCIS juggernaut on CBS; The Flash on CW; and rounding out a very well rounded landscape of shows "The Voice" on NBC. The competition at the 8:30pm slot is weaker with ABC and FOX using it to introduce new sit-coms; but while that may benefit Tuesday's Gone it is unlikely in today's day and age to have any spinoff effect for the lead-in show.
Behind the scenes the show has a stellar reputation for fun and harmony, which is reflected in the entire crew including producers, directors, and writers returning for the new season.

Liberty Television today released their preview for season 2 of Downbeats.
Downbeats; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty television returns to sultry New Orleans for season 2 of its most controversial show ever Downbeats which will air on Tuesday at 9:00pm/8:00pmCST. The network looks to build on its season 1 numbers and is aiming for a 1.0 demo this season with a strong lead in from another female led show Tuesday's Gone. However, unlike the Amanda Peet show, Downbeats is very serious as the main character is recovering from having killed her own child during a psychotic break. That backstory has caused strong opposition to the show from many different venues but the network stands behind the message of promoting mental health awareness.
Season 2 will begin predicated on a change in ownership of Downbeats, having been sold by Gene and bought by Mickey Haller and Harry Bosch as a cross story from Hollywood RHD. David Cubitt's Mickey Haller character will appear in a story arc that will take up most of the first half of the season. There are no plans to have Harry Bosch make an appearance at this time. Sugar and Marcus of course have both passed away, but Delfina's Mom will play a bigger role and the past as well as plans for the future will all surround Delfina's mental condition. Andre Franklin joins the cast as Strummer Franklin, a regular performer at Downbeats known as much for his abrasive personality as his chops.
Competition at the 9pm Tuesday slot which Downbeats also appeared last year will be ABC's sit-coms Fresh Off the Boat & The Real O'Neals; FOX has Scream Queens (with follow ups from Kicking & Screaming and Prison Break), and the other networks all have new dramas with CBS-Bull; CW-No Tomorrow; and NBC-This is Us. Given that landscape you can see how Liberty executives are looking for a step up to at least a 1.0 demo for the show and if not you could see a lineup switch to bring in another show that would better benefit from relatively weak competition.
Behind the scenes Brad Turner has exited the show to concentrate on Wayward Pines, leaving David Marshall Grant to do all the heavy lifting. He is getting some help this year from Diane Frolov who has joined the show. World renown author John Grisham however has stepped up his involvement in the project and is now credited as an executive producer along with PLS Media's own Emit Besler. Grisham also had a heavy hand in the writing of some story arcs for season 2. Speaking of writing, with the inclusion of the Hollywood RHD and Mickey Haller crossover, Michael Connelly joins the credits as a writer. The show will rely on the same directors as last season; Kevin Dowling, Rob Spera, Stephen Cragg, Janusz Kaminski, and in addition Allison Anders and Bethany Rooney have been added to the corps. The primary writers remain the same, however Andrew Schneider has taken over as lead writer from Cyrus Voris.

June 13, 2016Liberty Television released their preview today for season 6 of Tuesday's Gone. Tuesday's Gone; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty Television returns with a 6th year of the irrepressible Tuesday's Gone as Amanda Peet finds a new home, appropriately on Tuesdays at 8:30pm/7:30CST, following Night Shift and preceding Downbeats. The network is looking for a demo rating in the realm of 1.3-1.4.
Last season saw Tuesday's new friendship with a fellow wild child Trudy Q played by Elisabeth Shue and a new level of responsibility as Tuesday and Madison took in a troubled child Twyla. Roger and Bonnie and their expected entry into parenthood took a secondary role in the show as did Grandpa's continual quest for the fountain of youth.
The show has been pretty tight lipped with what they expect from season 6 especially since the rumors abound that this could be the final full season of the show. Elisabeth Shue returns but again there are rumors she is only signed on for a front 9 and negotiations continue on the back 13. Bonnie and Roger are due to once again take a bigger role in the show.
The Tuesday time slot competition sees rookie sit-com American Housewife on ABC (albeit with The Middle as a lead-in), and FOX also has sit-coms "New Girl" with "The Mick" stepping in mid-season. It is a well rounded set of competition with CBS having NCIS, CW "The Flash"", and NBC "The Voice". A little something for everyone in this timeslot, with Liberty hoping some of the viewers of The Middle and Brooklyn Nine-Nine will channel surf over to Liberty for 8:30 to add to the Night Shift lead-in numbers.
Behind the scenes, creative forces Michael Keaton and Marlon Wayans have little day to day interaction with the show, leaving that to newly promoted showrunner Michael Caleo who was sharing the duties with Michael Hanus who now exits the show. The rest of the principal crew remains intact including Kim Wayans. On the director front in addition to Michael Caleo and Kim Wayans, Robert Berlinger has exited, John Fortenberry is expected to pick up additional episodes as director, and Tim Kirkby has been added.
Principal Crew Information; Michael Keaton - Creator/Executive Producer Marlon Wayans - Creator/Executive Producer Michael Caleo - Writer/Producer/Director

Liberty Television set its fall 2016 Premiere dates today. However, the network noted the start dates were based on "assumptions" in regards to the timing and number of Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates. One show, "Halloween" will start with a double episode the week before the fall season officially begins. The network will start 14 of its other 19 during the first week of the fall series, holding 4 back for the 2nd week, and 1 (Nola Hart) for the 3rd week. In the past Liberty has tried to get a jump on the competition by having earlier premiere dates but then runs into some lags because their typical season is 2 episodes shorter than other networks due to cost constraints. However this year we have seen FOX and NBC release schedules with premiere dates almost entirely in week 1 of the season; making Liberty actually slower out of the gate this year than the competition.
FRIDAY, SEPT 16 9:00-11:00PM Halloween (Series Premiere) (Double episode)
MONDAY, SEPT 19 8:00PM Buy More (Season 5 Premiere) 8:30PM Alyssa Luvs Sean (Series Premiere) 9:00PM Rollin' (Series Premiere) 10:00PM Havana (Season 3 Premiere)
TUESDAY, SEPT 20 8:00PM Night Shift (Season 8 Premiere) 8:30pm Tuesday's Gone (Season 6 Premiere)
THURSDAY, SEPT 22 8:00PM Greater Good (Series Premiere) 8:30PM Real Genius (Series Premiere) 9:00PM Detroit 1-8-7 (Season 7 Premiere) 10:00PM Hollywood RHD (Season 5 Premiere)
FRIDAY, SEPT 23 8:00PM Tales From Margaritaville (Series Premiere)
SATURDAY, SEPT 24 8:00PM Liberty X (Season 7 Premiere) 9:00PM Macabre (Season 3 Premiere) 10:00PM Saradas (Season 2 Premiere)

Liberty Television today released its season preview for their new drama Nola Hart, starring Christina Applegate.
Nola Hart; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty television today released its official season preview for their new mystery/suspense drama Nola Hart which will also contain many comedic elements and land somewhere on the lighter side of the spectrum of drama shows. Originally offered to ABC from 20th Century Fox it is seen by PLS Media (Liberty's parent) as a victim of the big networks' move to fully owned shows. In order to make the show financially feasible for 20th Century Fox the network has ordered a full 22 episode season which will premiere on October 3rd after ceding its regular 8:00pm/9CST Wednesday slot to a double episode of Corvette Club the week before. Nola Hart will take a break after February to give its time slot to season 2 of Die Cast but will then return to finish its run mid-April and run through May sweeps.
Nola Hart is a drama about a woman who wakes up in an airport with complete amnesia and hires a dysfunctional father-son detective agency to find out who she is. When to her own surprise she shows near-genius detective skills, the guys hire the woman to help them as they take on her ever-deepening “missing person” case. But as each new discovery changes the picture of her, they all have to wonder who they’ll find at the end of the journey –and will they be sorry they looked?
The Wednesday 8:00pm time slot see's competition from The Goldbergs/Speechless (ABC), Survivor (CBS), Arrow (CW), Lethal Weapon (FOX), Blindspot (NBC). It's an interesting mix of shows with various moods, and looks like very stiff competition for a rookie show. Nola Hart has received comparisons to Blindspot in premise but is much lighter fare. There is a very good chance that this show will score well with an older demographic.

PLS Media today confirmed that it will be launching its own Sirius XM Radio station "Liberty Radio" on September 1st, 2016. The station will program a wide range of songs with an opening catalogue of over 2,000 tracks, and plans to build that to 4,000 tracks by the end of the year. Songs will be from Pop, Oldies, Rock, Classic Rock, Heavy Metal, and some Country as well. In addition there will be some comedy tracks mixed in as well as many "back tracks". While songs from every decade from the 1950's to current will be played, the majority of the songs will be from the 70's & 80's. The idea is that you will be able to listen all day and hear a mix of songs you want to hear, as well as some which you haven't heard in ages, along with some you are being introduced to for the first time. The station will have very little DJ or Host interaction to begin with but that may be added in the future. In addition some programming may be added, and to begin with the station will simulcast the left-wing leaning "Democracy Now!" each weekday at 1:00pm EST.
A complete track listing is expected to be released in the days leading up to go-live.

Liberty Television released a preview today for its new dramedy Corvette Club coming this fall.
Corvette Club; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty television has the fastest new show on television this fall; Corvette Club airing Wednesday nights at 9:00pm/8cst.
Barry and Allan, two burnouts from San Bernadino are hired by a mysterious benefactor to steal and destroy a list of rare Corvettes across California and Nevada. Along the way they pick up an apparently kind hearted young street walker named Angel, totally oblivious to the fact that she is murdering johns at every stop along the way.
Corvette Club takes over the time slot left vacant when Stoops was cancelled after 3 seasons on Liberty. It is preceded by another freshman show Nola Hart (last year Hollywood RHD had this slot), and acts as the lead-in for Liberty's top ranked show Greatest Hits. Competition will be tough with Modern Family/Blackish (ABC), and a slew of heavy dramas Criminal Minds (CBS), Frequency (CW), Empire (FOX), and Law & Order: SVU (NBC). The network has hope that the Corvette Club will find its niche audience with viewers not wanting such serious fare.

Liberty Television today released it's preview for the 6th season of it's #1 show "Greatest Hits".
Greatest Hits; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty Television's #1 ranked show Greatest Hits returns for season 6 this fall at Wednesday 10:00pm/9cst. This year the show will be anchoring a pair of new offerings with Corvette Club and Nola Hart opening the night. The network should be aiming for ratings in the 1.5-17 range. The Wednesday 10pm timeslot see's competition from rookie show Designated Survivor on ABC, Code Black on CBS, and Chicago P.D. on NBC. Overall the competition is average, and pretty much the same as last year with Designated Survivor stepping in for Nashville & American Crime.
Last season we saw the continued relationship between Marshall and Katherine, despite Dean's objections, and the interference it causes in everyone's professional relationship. This season Dean (Bill Pullman) will retire to Costa Rica but will be back as a recurring character in the 2nd half of the year; leaving Marshall and Katherine to run "the agency" themselves. However, early in the season they will find themselves coerced into taking jobs for an unknown controller. Along the way they will team up with two new characters Brock Pruitt (Chris Marquette) an electronics genius, and Jeneva Damon (Ana de la Reguera) a smooth talking private operative with the hots for Marshall.
Behind the scenes original creator Matt Jones continues as executive producer, along with the brother sister team of John & Joan Cusack. The main man behind the scenes continues to be Marc Guggenheim who is listed as Writer/Producer and is in fact the showrunner. Jonah Stroh who joined the crew in season 3 acts as his second in charge (writer/producer) and is the heir apparent if there is a 7th season as Guggenheim had to be talked into returning for a 6th season. Rene Balcer the veteran writer of Law & Order shows amongst others, continues to be the main volume writer and looks to step into a producing role as well if Guggenheim exits. Kimberly Peirce and Christopher M. Searcey join the show as directors this year in addition to Matt Sadowski and Brian McCulley. John Cusack, Joan Cusack, Jonah Stroh, Bill Pullman, and Paul Gross are all listed as possible guest directors.

Less than a week after releasing its season preview, Liberty Television announced today that they are letting writer Rene Balcer out of his commitment to write for "Greatest Hits" this season so he can accept the position of showrunner with Law & Order: True Crime. No direct replacement has been announced with the show purporting to be taking a "team" approach to filling the void. Balcer is a veteran writer of other Law & Order franchises including the original Law & Order, Criminal Intent, Criminal Mind, U.K., and Los Angeles. The main worry would be how this loss of a veteran presence might slow down the transition from it being Marc Guggenheim's show to being Jonah Stroh's show by next season.

Liberty Television today unveiled its season preview for "The Greater Good".
The Greater Good; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty television conspires to bring you the new workplace comedy with a twist; starting this fall on Thursday's at 8pm/7cst.
The Greater Good is a workplace comedy set in the world of conspiracy theories. A disgraced former CIA agent begins his own online tabloid trying to reveal the same truths that got him kicked out of the agency. The majority of his staff are part time "believers" who flood the office late at night to discover and write up stories. Unknown to him most of his co-workers are also now CIA plants, except for a young intern that shows the most promise.
Greater Good will act as a lead-in for another new Liberty comedy, "Real Genius". The competition is incredibly stiff with Grey's Anatomy on ABC, The Big Bang Theory on CBS, Legends of Tomorrow on CW, Superstore on NBC. Big Bang on CBS and Superstore on NBC split the year with NFL Football, although Greater Good only faces the pre-game shows not the actual games. An opportunity exists early on then with Greater Good facing only sit-com competition from modestly rated Superstore.
The show should also gain attention from its show of diversity with lead Allan Carlsson (Simon Templeman) being married to another man Phillip Workman (J.C. MacKenzie) which will play front and center starting with the second episode. Additionally it reaches out to fans of actual conspiracies with many "digs" or inside jokes. Richard Belzer has been added to the writing staff to provide that perspective, in addition to voicing the role of "The Narrator" of the show.

Liberty Television released a season preview today for it's long running police procedural Detroit 1-8-7 which returns this fall on Thursday nights at 9:00pm.
Detroit 1-8-7; 2016-17 Season Preview
The longest running procedural in network history, Detroit 1-8-7, returns for a 7th year this fall amidst rumors that it will be the last, or at least the last for showrunner Jason Richman and lead actor Michael Imperioli. The show returns to its Thursday night at 9pm/8cst slot but is the last holdover on the night. It's lead-in will be a pair of new sit-coms "The Greater Good" and "Real Genius", and will be followed by the veteran Michael Connelly/Harry Bosch cop show "Hollywood RHD".
In front of the camera Neal McDonough as Russ Renna is gone (left for "Rollin" on Liberty), as is behind the camera Nikki Toscano as Writer/PROD (left for "24: Legacy" on Fox). With Louis Fitch (Michael Imperioli) promoted, his spot is being filled in the squad by intimidating Davian Coates (Omar J Dorsey). Competition will be stiff with ABC's new show "Notorious" (than "Scandal"), CBS' Thursday Night Football (than "Mom"/"Life in Pieces"), CW's Supernatural, FOX' new show "Pitch" (than "Bones"), and NBC's "Chicago Med" (than Thursday Night Football). However, with the presence of football and new shows, the network feels a procedural will be better situated to pick up casual viewers in this slot than would a serial.
This season features Louis Fitch being promoted to Lieutenant and taking over running the squad from Renna, even though his appointment is on an interim basis. However, the squad is still reeling from the Byrd assassination and MacGray wrestles with the truth of what he saw (Bobby Fitch was the shooter). A new detective is brought in to replace Fitch, and its the very intimidating Davian Coates (Omar J Dorsey) who apparently was a friend of Det. Washington's and still bears a grudge towards the squad. Dellacruz continues her search for power, and with Renna out of the way, she hopes in vain to have a better relationship with Fitch. New commander Fitch faces an immediate crisis of ethics when some recovered diamonds may be kept "off books" to allow the squad to get better equipment; and a political crisis when the deputy mayor is gunned down and the squad doesn't know if it was just circumstances or a political target.

Liberty television today released their official season preview for rookie music/variety show "Tales From Margaritaville".
Tales From Margaritaville; 2016-17 Season Preview
New to Liberty television this fall on Friday nights is 2 hours of an invasion of parrotheads, as Jimmy Buffett and friends present their unique version of "gulf and western" or island escapism music, interviews, features, and comedy. Buffett has already appeared off and on for the past 10 years with specials and guest acting appearances and is a well known figure to Liberty's core viewers. The show will also pay homage to the old style variety shows of old including the Carol Burnett Show, as well as modern day talk shows. Tales will air from 8-10pm and will be followed initially by "Halloween" and then later by "Macabre". The show replaces "The Next Level" (cancelled) and "Saradas" (moved to Sunday evening).
Tales will be hosted by JD Spradlin along with Sara West. A third on air personality Trish Suhr has also been added as well as the house band "Landsharks Band". Jimmy Buffett will make regular appearances (schedule permitting) as will his Coral Reefer Band. Each episode of "Tales" will include one or two musical guests, interviews, skits, and features of island lifestyle. The show will be taped live at the Margaritaville location in Orlando, Florida. The show is currently on the schedule for 27 regular 2 hour episodes, and 1 3 hour St. Patrick's Day special at its regular Friday night slot. In addition, the 3 hour prime time New Year's Special which has become a staple on Liberty is again on the schedule to end 2016 in style.
Competition at the 2 hour time slot will be varied with ABC presenting a strong original lineup of Last Man Standing, Dr. Ken, and Shark Tank. CBS also has original programming with MacGyver and Hawaii Five-0. CW has Vampire Diaries & Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. FOX has Hell's Kitchen & The Exorcist to start, then going to Masterchef Junior & Sleepy Hollow. NBC has perhaps the weakest competition with Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon & Dateline NBC/Grimm.

Liberty television today released it's season preview for Halloween, which has some familiar character names with a new twist.
Halloween; 2016-17 Season Preview
A re-imagining of the Halloween franchise. In this version Michael Myers is a tragic figure, ripped from his family while a youth and put in a mental sanatorium. Under the supervision of Dr. Loomis he was experimented on with psychological terror and drugs. On a supervised visit with his family he stabs and kills his Mother on Halloween, thus ensuring he will never be released again. However, as an adult he escapes and returns to Haddonfield to take his revenge out on the kids who bullied him and Dr. Loomis.
Halloween will be a limited run series starting with a double episode Friday September 16th, before the fall TV season officially kicks off. The final 2 episodes will air as a double feature as well, on Halloween week October 28th. There will be 9 episodes overall.
The primary time slot for the show will be the Friday 10pm/9cst slot held last year by another horror show "Macabre" which will start the season on Sunday nights but move back to Fridays starting in November, after Halloween has finished. Competition in that time slot is fairly weak with 20/20 on ABC, Blue Bloods on CBS, and Dateline on NBC; there is definitely room in the competitive landscape for this type of show.

Liberty Television today released its preview for the upcoming 7th season of its television news program "Liberty X".
Liberty X; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty Television's well established news magazine show returns for it's 7th season this fall, on Sunday nights at 8:00pm/7cst. It will represent the only stability in the Sunday night schedule compared to last season; although it will be preceeded still by drama encore presentations, it will be followed by Macabre and Saradas, both having moved from Friday nights. It is believed that the show will end up receiving an order of between 22 and 26 episodes. Stories will continue to follow a more international and youth orientated vision then most of the other mainstream TV news programs. Being an election year though many of the early episodes may slant towards domestic politics.
Competition is intense for the time slot with Once Upon a Time on ABC, NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS, The Simpsons and Son of Zorn/Making History on FOX, and NFL Football on NBC. The network is still trying to add to its modest but loyal base of a demo rating of around 0.7-0.9 after the cancellation of Liberty Z which was supposed to bring in a younger audience to the franchise. The show also offers the network an entry point into prime time news specials and coverage which will be important this year with the upcoming elections.

Liberty Television today released its season preview for Saradas which moves from Friday night to Sunday night at 10pm after a successful freshman year.
Saradas; 2016-17 Season Preview
Saradas is a reality/fitness show that takes a look inside the world of women's bodybuilding and fitness with a more focused look at the Bikini division as well as the Brazilian fitness scene. Segments include the hosts and correspondents visiting the athletes to see how they train, eat, live, and compete in their chosen sport. While the show tries to emphasize the fitness benefits and healthy aspects it also balances it with a look at the negative effects of performance enhancing drugs, body shaming, as well as the addictive or compulsive side of the sport.
The show transferred over from the cable network eVolution last year and was rebranded and started as season one, ignoring the earlier version. It had better then expected success pulling in demos which increased from 0.5 to around an average of 0.7 by the end of the year on Friday nights. Saradas along with Macabre has been moved to Sunday night to replace Wildwood and Red Shadow (with Wildwood to return Sunday nights later in the season).
Saradas will air at 10pm/9cst against Quantico on ABC, Elementary on CBS, and NFL Football on NBC. The network though is still expecting increased ratings as it scores well with both women and men, and they also expect a bump in ratings both from DVR use as well as when the football game is lopsided in score.

Macabre; 2016-17 Season Preview
Liberty Television's anthology horror series "Macabre" moves from Friday nights to it's new home Sunday nights at 9pm/8cst for its 4th season, following Liberty X and leading in for Saradas. However, it is slated to move back to it's Friday night 10pm slot after Halloween finishes its limited run at the start of November.
The competition on Sundays will be Secrets and Lies on ABC, Madame Secretary on CBS, Family Guy/Last Man on Earth on FOX, and of course NFL football on NBC. The network likes this slot for the show as they see a good deal of differentiation between Macabre and the other networks, and feel that its viewers are loyal and will follow the show around the schedule. Once it returns to Friday's the competition will be 20/20 on ABC, Blue Bloods on CBS, and Dateline on NBC. Again the network feels very positive about the competitive landscape and the differentiation of the show. The network is likely looking for most episodes to score above the 1.0 demo rating mark.
The entire crew returns behind the scenes, while in front of the screen the show has added several names as recurring talent (Sofia Vassilieva, Nikki Reed Jen Lyon, Jermaine Dominique). Jen Lyon has also been tapped to direct this year. Word is that Sabine Mondestin, Cassandra Peterson, and Emo Phillips will spend less time in front of the camera and more behind the scenes, allowing more screen time for fresh new faces.
