RCW matchmaker came to the ring and announced that due to the finish of last card's main event, RCW officials do not believe that there is a definitive #1 challenger for the RCW Heavyweight title. Therefore, after our opening bout tonight we will have a 20-man battle royal to decide a #1 contender. Due to the 30-day defense rule of RCW that title match will occur as the main event tonight.
Opening Bout:
Chrisscat beat Eric Lee by pinfall at 6:09 with a legdrop from the second rope.

Winner: Steve Olsonoski
Tension continued to mount between The Destoyer and Chris Lyon in this match and it boiled over while both were trying to eliminate Frank Hill. Lyon left the scene, but then attacked Destroyer from behind and tossed him over the top rope, to a shocked crowd. Lyon paused long enough to shout at the fans before resuming. He then seemed to develop a partnership with one of his arch-rivals Mike Valiant. This lasted until late in the match when Valiant found his opening and turned on Lyon to eliminate him. Rheinghans and Steve O fought one on one for 4 minutes, and kept it clean; a finish that was much appreciated by the fans.
#1 Contenders Tag Team Match
The Royal Kiwis: Keith McIvor & Kelly Hobin defeated Les Voyageurs: Jacques LaToque & Luc Lagimodiere by pinfall when Hobin pinned LaToque after a spinebuster slam at 12:37
**Les Voyageurs came out first being hailed as from St. Boniface, making them local boys. This coupled with a series of high-fives to the fans gave the young team a nice applause. However, when they entered the ring they took the mics and corrected the ring announcer, saying they were from Quebec City, Quebec, and didn't consider themselves to be Canadians, never mind Winnipegers. They then taunted the crowd setting themselves up firmly as the villians.***
RCW Tag Team Title Match
Return Match: "Last Chance for Steve O & Rheinghans"
The Roughnecks: Stan Rodgers & Russel Riggs (champions)
v
Steve Olsonoski & Brad Rheinghans
This match was only agreed upon by the Roughnecks under the clause that it would be the last title shot garnered by the duo.
Steve O & Brad gave it all they had but came up short when Rodgers and Riggs were just too powerful and too resourceful with the double team strategy they employ. The ref gave the champs a lot of leeway not wanting to DQ them and cheat the fan favorites out of their last title shot. Shiek Fal-Had, the manager of the Mummy came down to ringside and used a can of hairspray to blind Rheinghans, effectively taking him out of the match. The champs then doubleteamed the challengers for the win while The Shiek distracted the ref.
Roughnecks defeated Steve Olsonoski & Brad Rheinghans by pinfall at 17:14 when Rodgers pinned Steve O following a stuffed piledriver.

After the match the tag champs began to beat down Rheinghans. While the ref did his best to keep Brad out of harms way, The Mummy & Shiek Fal-Had came down to the ring and hauled Steve O out. They then double teamed him including slamming him onto a table and hitting him several times with a steel chair until he was rescued by RCW officials.
MAIN EVENT
RCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
The Mummy (/w Shiek Fal-Had) (champion)
v
Steve Olsonoski
RCW officials elected to give Steve O a 10 minute break to recover before this match. They used that time to hand out fines to both the tag team champions as well as The Mummy & Shiek Fal-Had. This caused the tag champs to come out to the ring and confront Shiel Fal-Had. They said it was his big idea and now they were getting fined. The Shiek calmed them down by paying their fine in cash.
Steve O started strong, but soon his head bandages were soaked again with blood. He began to weaken and was no match for the powerful Mummy. Finally, the referee stepped in and stopped the match.

Opening Bout:
Rick Presonka defeated Nacho Buerrera by pinfall following a powerlsam at 1:29
** Presonka is a big (6'3 260lb, newcomer to the territory. He has a short fuse, a lot of power, but his stamina is questionable. He wasted no time however in beating the crap out of Buerrera.
Kenny Ho defeated Chrisscat by submission to the Asiatic Spike at 8:30
Les Voyaguers; Jacque LaToque and Luc Lagimodiere defeated Ashley Shade & Danny Potenza by pinfall when LaToque pinned Potenza after a second rope elbowdrop at 6:52.
**The ref was distracted by Lagimodiere so LaToque dropped the elbow right on the throat of Potenza to assure the victory.
**Potenza is a newcomer to the territory, and is another fairly big guy, at 6'0 and 250 lbs. He is a fiery Italian, who likes to use his fists to settle things.
Women's Action
Jeannie Rahib beat Anne Fargo by pinfall despite being overmatched for most of the bout. Fargo was arguing a slow count with the ref which allowed Rahib to roll her up from behind to pick up the win at 10:05.
"Stampede" Clarke Roenick and Mike Valiant battled to a 25 minute time limit draw.
RCW Tag Team Title Match
The Roughnecks (Stan Rodgers & Russel Riggs) defeated the Royal Kiwis (Kelly Hobin & Keith McIvor) by pinfall when Rodgers pinned Hobin following a piledriver at 13:16.
**Les Voyaguers came down to the ring, presumably still angry for their loss last card to the Kiwis, and interfered in the match to help out the Roughnecks.
[The Roughnecks retain the RCW Tag Team Titles]
MAIN EVENT
#1 Contenders Match for RCW Heavyweight Division
The Destroyer and Chris Lyon battled to a double countout at 18:30.
**They were fighting outside the ring and refused to re-enter the ring. The Mummy came from the back to join the action, using a cane to hit both men. This degenerated into a 3-man brawl with The Destroyer eventually getting the better of the other two.
May spelled another change in direction for the fledging RCW. A budding agreement with the AWA came to an end, which also meant the end of Steve O and Rheinghans in the RCW.
The addition of several new creations to the roster brings some fresh faces. However, RCW has its eyes on some bigger things in the near future including expansion to a bigger venue. In the meantime, summer is pretty slow so RCW will present only 1 card for each of June, July, and August.
