Tag Team Title Tournament Semifinal
Tully Blanchard & Arn Anderson (/w Bobby Heenan) combined wt. 475 lbs.
v
British Bulldogs: Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith (/w Cpt. Lou Albano) combined wt. 481 lbs.
The announcers shared some information to start. Blanchard and Anderson have given them clear instructions not to refer to them as either the Brain Busters or the 4 Horsemen, as they are currently unaffiliated. Furthermore, Bobby Heenan is here tonight not as their manager, because they have not committed to him in that role, but have hired him tonight as an advisor to be in their corner.
The bell rings, and Dynamite Kid immediately locks up with Tully Blanchard, showcasing his technical prowess. The two exchange quick holds and counters before Dynamite tags in Davey Boy Smith. Smith's power game contrasts sharply with Blanchard's finesse, leading to some impressive power moves.
Arn Anderson tags in, and the match's pace quickens. Anderson and Smith trade heavy blows, with Arn focusing on Smith's left arm. The Bulldogs' teamwork shines as they execute rapid tags and double-team maneuvers, keeping Anderson isolated.
Midway through, Blanchard and Anderson gain control, working over Dynamite's knee. Bobby Heenan, ever the opportunist, distracts the referee while his team bends the rules. Captain Lou Albano protests vehemently, nearly coming to blows with Heenan at ringside.
As the 25-minute mark approaches, all four men are showing signs of fatigue. Smith hits a running powerslam on Blanchard but can't capitalize due to Anderson's timely intervention. Dynamite and Arn end up as the legal men, trading stiff kicks and chops.
In the match's closing moments, Dynamite attempts his diving headbutt, but Blanchard pulls Anderson out of harm's way. As Dynamite crashes to the mat, Anderson quickly tags himself in off Blanchard. Tully hits a catapult hangman and then a slingshot suplex on the dazed Dynamite. He makes the cover, Anderson reaches in and holds down the legs of Dynamite. The referee counts to three.
[Blanchard & Anderson defeated British Bulldogs by pinfall when Blanchard pinned Dynamite after a slingshot suplex at 27:43]
Bout #2
Tag Team Title Tournament Semifinal
DX: Shawn Michaels & Triple H (/w Chyna) combined wt. 480 lbs.
v
Roman Reigns & The Rock combined wt. 540 lbs.
The surprise of the night was when DX came down to the ring with Chyna as their manager for the first time. In a match like this, with four legends, her influence could be the deciding factor.
The bell rings, and Triple H immediately locks up with Roman Reigns, showcasing his technical prowess. The two exchange quick holds and counters before tagging in their respective partners. Shawn Michaels and The Rock engage in a fast-paced sequence of arm drags and hip tosses, demonstrating their legendary agility.
As the match approaches the 10-minute mark, the arena erupts as The Undertaker and Kane make their way to ringside. The distraction allows Reigns to hit a Superman Punch on Michaels, gaining control for his team. However, the Brothers of Destruction have other plans.
The two behemoths begin a brutal assault on Triple H and The Rock, effectively removing them from the equation.
Inside the ring, Michaels and Reigns are left to continue the match one-on-one. They trade blows, with Michaels hitting his patented flying forearm and kip-up combo. Reigns counters with a Samoan drop, nearly securing a three-count.
As the 16-minute mark approaches, both men are showing signs of fatigue. Michaels tunes up the band for Sweet Chin Music, but Reigns ducks and hits a spear. However, Michaels manages to get his foot on the rope at the last second.
In the match's closing moments, Reigns sets up for another spear, but Michaels takes him down with a legwhip. As Reigns recovers, Michaels connects with Sweet Chin Music. He collapses into the cover, and the referee counts to three.
[Michaels & Triple H defeated Reigns & Rock by pinfall when Michaels pinned Reigns after sweet chin music at 16:23]
Post-match: Michaels and Reigns check on their respective partners and cursing the Brothers of Destruction.
Bout #3
Heavyweight Title Tournament Semifinal
Verne Gagne 5'11 215 lbs., Corcoran, MN
v
Nick Bockwinkel (/w Bobby Heenan) 5'10 240 lbs., Beverly Hills, CA
Two old adversaries lock up one more time with the Brain right there at ringside. Gagne, however, is nursing an injured knee he has been dealing with for awhile.
The bell rings, and Nick Bockwinkel immediately locks up with Verne Gagne, showcasing his technical prowess. Gagne, wary of his injured knee, takes a defensive stance. Bockwinkel, in a surprising move, targets Gagne's left arm instead of the expected knee.
As the match progresses, Bockwinkel applies a series of arm bars and wrist locks, attempting to wear down Gagne's upper body. Gagne counters with his own scientific approach, using his free arm to execute precise strikes and leverage-based moves.
Around the 10-minute mark, Gagne attempts to build momentum with a series of arm drags and a dropkick, but his movements are noticeably cautious due to his knee. Bockwinkel, ever the strategist, bides his time, waiting for the right moment to strike.
At the 15-minute mark, Gagne goes for a knee drop, but Bockwinkel rolls out of the way. Gagne's injured knee buckles upon impact with the mat. Sensing the opportunity, Bockwinkel immediately shifts his focus to the weakened limb.
Bockwinkel unleashes a barrage of knee-targeted moves, including a dragon screw leg whip and several knee drops. Gagne fights valiantly, using his upper body strength to create separation, but Bockwinkel's relentless assault continues.
As the match nears its conclusion, Bockwinkel manages to lock in the figure-four leglock. Gagne, showing incredible resilience, refuses to submit despite the excruciating pain. However, while he refuses to submit he can't manage to work through the pain enough to keep his shoulders off the mat. The referee, noticing this, makes the count.
[Nick Bockwinkel defeated Verne Gagne by pinfall while in the figure-four leglock at 22:54]
Bout #4
Heavyweight Title Tournament Semifinal
Ric Flair (/w J.J. Dillon) 6'1 243 lbs., Charlotte, NC
v
Bryan Danielson 5'10 210 lbs., Aberdeen, WA
The anticipation in the arena is palpable as Ric Flair makes his grand entrance, strutting to the iconic strains of "2001: A Space Odyssey."
Suddenly, the crowd's attention shifts as Bobby Heenan makes his way to the ring, microphone in hand. Heenan offers his services to Flair, suggesting that with his guidance, Flair could join Nick Bockwinkel in the finals, making it an "all in the family" affair; The Bobby Heenan family.
Flair feigns interest, nodding along to Heenan's proposal, when the familiar sound of the Four Horsemen's theme music blares through the speakers. J.J. Dillon steps forward, shaking hands with Flair, and together they inform Heenan that his services are not needed. They assure him that they will see him in the finals, as Flair and Dillon stand united, ready to face Bryan Danielson.
Just like in our other semifinal we have a wrestler who comes into this one (Danielson) nursing an injured knee after his bout with Goldberg.
The bell rings, and Flair immediately targets Danielson's injured knee, exploiting it with precision. For the first five minutes, Flair dominates, using his veteran savvy to keep Danielson on the defensive. However, Danielson's resilience shines through as he counters with his exceptional wrestling skill, shifting the momentum in his favor.
For the next ten minutes, Danielson takes control, using technical holds and submissions to wear down Flair. Despite his limitations due to the knee injury, Danielson executes a flawless dropkick that sends Flair crashing into the turnbuckle, causing him to flip upside down and land on the apron. Danielson follows up with a springboard plancha, electrifying the crowd.
As Danielson rolls Flair back into the ring, Bobby Heenan returns to ringside, creating a distraction. Danielson momentarily loses focus to chase Heenan, and then Hulk Hogan appears and stands between him and Heenan. This unexpected interference nearly results in a count-out for Danielson, but he manages to re-enter the ring just in time.
In the chaos, Dillon discreetly passes Flair a pair of brass knuckles. Flair attempts to use them, but Danielson dodges and counters with a backslide for a near fall. Realizing the danger, Flair discards the knuckles to Dillon. As Danielson charges off the ropes, Heenan trips him, allowing Flair to capitalize.
Flair viciously targets Danielson's knee with stomps, an Indian Deathlock, and finally locks in the figure-four leglock. Despite Danielson's refusal to submit, the referee stops the match when Danielson's arm falls three times, awarding the victory to Flair.
[Ric Flair defeated Bryan Danielson by submission to the figure-four leglock at 18:32]
Bout #5
Women's Title Tournament Final
Awesome Kong 6'1 273 lbs., Tokyo, Japan
v
Charlotte Flair 5'10 143 lbs. Charlotte, NC
v
Jordynne Grace 5'3 150 lbs., Austin, TX
Although, technically one lady should have had a bye, the championship committee ruled the fairest option would be to put the remaining three wrestlers into a one fall, winner take all, three way final.
The bell rings, and all three competitors immediately lock up in a triangle formation. Kong's raw power becomes evident as she shoves both Flair and Grace away. Grace responds with quick strikes, while Flair attempts to use her agility to outmaneuver her opponents.
Ten minutes in, the match intensifies. Flair hits a moonsault on Kong, but Grace breaks up the pin attempt. Grace then showcases her strength by suplexing Flair, only for Kong to interrupt the count. The back-and-forth action keeps the crowd on the edge of their seats.
Midway through the bout, J.J. Dillon appears at ringside, drawing Flair's attention. This distraction allows Kong to catch Flair with a devastating clothesline. Grace capitalizes, hitting Kong with a spinebuster, but only gets a two-count.
As the match nears its conclusion, all three women are visibly exhausted. Flair attempts her Natural Selection on Grace, but Kong breaks it up. In a display of power, Kong hits an Awesome Bomb on Flair, but Grace pulls Kong off before the referee can count three.
In the final sequence, Grace hits her Grace Driver on Kong. As she goes for the pin, Flair desperately tries to break it up. J.J. Dillon, attempting to help Flair into the ring ends up getting tangled up with her instead. Flair is unable to interrupt the pin in time.
[Jordynne Grace defeated Awesome Kong and Charlotte Flair by pinfall when Grace pinned Kong after a Grace Driver at 15:47]
[Jordynne Grace wins the PWF Women's Title]
Post-Match: The arena erupts as Grace celebrates her hard-fought victory and is presented with the PWF Women's title belt. Our first ever champion!
Meanwhile, Flair glares at a sheepish Dillon, realizing his interference cost her the title.
Bout #6
Tag Team Tournament Final
Tully Blanchard & Arn Anderson (/w Bobby Heenan) combined wt. 475 lbs.
v
DX: Shawn Michaels & Triple H (/w Chyna) combined wt. 480 lbs.
The arena erupts as DX's iconic music hits, and Triple H and Shawn Michaels make their way to the ring, accompanied by Chyna. The crowd's excitement intensifies as Blanchard and Anderson, with Bobby Heenan in tow, enter the arena.
The match begins with Michaels and Blanchard locking up, showcasing their technical prowess. Quick tags and double-team maneuvers from both sides keep the action fast-paced. At the five-minute mark, Anderson catches Michaels with a spinebuster, but Triple H breaks up the pin attempt.
Midway through the bout, Heenan calls his team to the outside for a strategy session. Chyna, ever vigilant, keeps a watchful eye on The Brain, preventing any potential interference. This scenario repeats itself later in the match, with Chyna's presence neutralizing Heenan's influence.
As the 15-minute mark approaches, all four men are in the ring, trading blows. Blanchard hits his slingshot suplex on Triple H, while Anderson simultaneously nails Michaels with a spinebuster. The referee struggles to regain control as the crowd reaches a fever pitch.
In the closing moments, Michaels and Triple H set up for a double team finisher on Blanchard, but Anderson breaks it up. Amid the chaos, Blanchard rolls up Michaels, grabbing a handful of tights. The referee, distracted by Anderson and Triple H brawling outside, doesn't see the illegal leverage.

[Blanchard & Anderson win the PWF Tag Team Titles]
Post-Match: DX argues with the ref for a minute, while the new champions are presented with their tag belts. However, DX give up arguing, and as one pair of cheaters to another they give a nod of appreciation to the new champs.

Heavyweight Title Tournament Final
Nick Bockwinkel (/w Bobby Heenan) 5'10 240 lbs., Beverly Hills, CA
v
Ric Flair (/w J.J. Dillon) 6'1 243 lbs., Charlotte, NC
The bell rings, and the two legendary competitors, Ric Flair and Nick Bockwinkel, circle each other warily. The match begins at a methodical pace, with both men applying rest holds and frequently retreating to their corners for advice from their respective managers, J.J. Dillon and Bobby Heenan.
As the bout progresses, the crowd grows restless, even chanting "boring" at one point. Bockwinkel takes control, applying an Indian Deathlock and then later an abdominal stretch. Flair fights back with a Boston Crab but fails to secure his signature Figure Four.
The action picks up when Bockwinkel attempts a piledriver, only for Flair to counter with a float-over into his own piledriver. Flair follows up with a clothesline that sends Bockwinkel over the top rope, crashing to the floor below. Attempting to capitalize, Flair goes for a running knee from the apron, but Bockwinkel catches him mid-air and delivers a devastating spinebuster through the announce table.
Both men barely beat the 10-count back into the ring. Bockwinkel unleashes a series of innovative moves, including an avalanche armbreaker, a butterfly suplex, and even a vertebreaker, but can't secure the pin. Flair resorts to his dirty tactics, using eye rakes and boot chokes before hitting a hotshot and a diving knee drop for a near fall.
Outside the ring, chaos erupts as Heenan and Dillon brawl. Charlotte Flair intervenes on Dillon's behalf, prompting Tessa Blanchard to join the fray on behalf of Heenan. Then, Sid Vicious appears, attacking Heenan, which finally distracts the in-ring competitors. As Bockwinkel leans through the ropes to yell at Sid, Flair capitalizes with a running leg guillotine.
The outside melee intensifies when Gorilla Monsoon arrives to defend Heenan from Sid. Meanwhile, in the ring, Flair attempts the Figure Four, but Bockwinkel counters, kicking Flair into the turnbuckle. Bockwinkel locks in an STF, but Flair reaches the ropes.
As Flair tries to escape the ring, Bockwinkel catches him on the apron and pulls him back in for a suspended DDT. Showcasing his technical prowess, Bockwinkel hits a gutwrench neckbreaker followed by a piledriver for a near fall. In a shocking finale, Bockwinkel places Flair on the top turnbuckle, climbs to the second rope, and delivers an avalanche piledriver.
