Even with the DVD sales the network still does not believe it will make money on this venture, and are willing to use it to bring viewers to the network as a loss leader, as well as to raise the prestige of the network. ~An unlikely group of heroes~ Tanis Half-Elven - leader of the companions. Horse pulling a wagon; Fewmaster Toede a Hobgoblin and four more goblin guards. He orders the guards to arrest them and seize the “blue crystal staff” if they find it. -they have little trouble killing the goblins but can’t find out who hired them as they insist Fewmaster does not work for the Theocrats. Tas kills the second last one with a throw of a dagger, but the last one escapes. -Tas says to leave the dagger as you can never get the smell of goblin out. -Besides he chuckles, it was Flint’s dagger. 13:00-19:00 -the heroes go to the Inn of the last Home, which we see from the outside is built entirely in a huge Vallenwood tree,. In fact the whole town is built in the trees. -the inn is very crowded, standing room only, and lots of tension in the air -they meet two more of the friends in the Inn, twin brothers who are very different, the warrior Caramon, and the magi Raistlin. Raistlin seems to get pleasue out of making others uncomfortable with his very fragile appearance now accented by a nightmarish face, with golden skin, cheeks sunken to the bone, and hourglass shaped pupils. -Raistlin recounts how he took the test of Par-Salian at so young of an age, which was responsible for his appearance change as well as his new weapon the staff of magius. -They are reintroduced to Tika who they must have known 5 years ago before leaving town. -She also gives them a scroll which arrived earlier in the day. It is from another of the original companions, Kitiara. She’s not coming to the “reunion” -Flint the Dwarf bursts out that the circle is broken, the oath denied, bad luck, bad luck. 19:00-24:00 -they discuss Kitiara; she is a mercenary, has a new Lord, apparently she had a “thing” with Tanis, and is also half-sister to the Twins. -they are met by another companion’s arrival, Sturm Brightblade, looking out of place in full armor. -he is accompanied by two strangers, Barbarians from the plains, man and woman, who go their own way once inside the Inn -Sturm talks of finding the Barbarians wandering near town, exhausted and led them here. They exchange more stories of the Seekers looking for a blue crystal starff. -the strange old man is telling stories in front of the fireplace about the old gods. He draws the attention of the High Theocrat himself. -The companions admire the beautiful plainswoman drawing a glower from the plainsman. -the old man draws out the plainswoman as if he knows her, calls her Chieftain’s daughter. He convinces her to sing “the” song. 24:00-26:00 Goldmoon’s Song 26:00-32:00 -The old man tells a story about the old god Paladine and a knight of Solamnia (Huma) which draws the drunk High Theocrat to accuse him of blasphemy. -He calls for his arrest as well as the Barbarians arrest, and tries to confiscate Gooldmoon’s staff. Goldmoon’s man, Riverwind pushes the High Theocrat away, who stumbles drunkingly into the fireplace, his robes catching on fire. -the old man seizes the staff and hands it to Tas telling him to knock down the Theocrat so we can help him extinguish the flames. -Tas does it but the blow from the staff causes it to glow crystal blue and not only does it completely heal him but it also repairs his clothes from the fire damage! -the old man calls for the arrest of the companions, calling attention to their possession of the much sought after blue crystal staff. -Tika helps the companions escape out the kitchen door, telling them to go to her place. Sturm, ever the Paladin, refuses to flee until Tanis convinces him that he brought the Barbarians into this and their safety is his responsibility. -They climb down a rope, all except Raistlin who just floats down using his staff. -Back at Tika’s Goldmoon says she doesn’t know much about the staff, she only had it a little while. She uses it to heal the hands of Tanis from his scrapes down the rope. -true healing, the sign the companions had gone to find. . 32:00-37:00 -tensions rise between warriors, Riverwind and Caramon. -the blue crystal staff can only be held by those of pure heart; it burns Raistlin’s hands whenhe tries. -two guards doing house searches for the companions are killed by the group, necessitating them to make their leave, planning to lead the Barbarians to a crossroads 37:00-42:00 -Tas “finds” a boat to take them across Crystalmir lake where they plan to rest the night in caves across the other side -time is short as goblin search parties are near, Caramon has to carry his frail brother, and Flint refuses to go as he has a fear of water after nearly being drowned by Caramon one day -they have to wait though as pushing off, as Flint has a change of heart, being chased by goblins. He almost drowns again getting into the boat. The companions come under bow fire and return the same (Tanis is the marksman of the group) -Raistlin saves them by casting a spell and the Goblins fall asleep one after another -the friends are startled by an observation of the night sky; two constellations are missing. The Queen of Darkness has gone down to Krynn, and the Valiant Warrior has followed to fight her. Raistlin predicts war, death, destruction 42:00-45:00 -the companions arrive in the caves for the night -we watch their preparations to short reprises of The Canticle of the Dragon, and then Goldmoon’s song. -we see that Flint and Tas despite their bickerings have a long friendship and admiration for each other -Tanis can not understand why Caramon puts up with his brother, but Strum can because the Knight of Solamnia understands family and service. -Riverwind is apparently much more then just a companion to Goldmoon, Chieftain’s daughter -Tanis’ thoughts and heart lays with Kitiara 45:00-46:00 -A preview of material that will be found only on the DVD version of this episode coming in the summer 46:00-47:00 -Preview of episode two 47:00-48:00 [closing credits]

Riverwind wants he and Goldmoon to go on their own, but she agrees to Tanis’ offer of help and stay with the companions for now 8:00-10:00 -the companions have to go slow and hack their way through Solace Vale -they make their way to Haven Road, easier going but are exposed now -Tas is sent out to scout ahead 10:00-11:00 Kender Trailsong 11:00-14:00 -Goldmoon tells of her and Riverwind’s story to Tanis. They were to be married but her father did not want her to marry under her station, so he as Chieftain sent his warrior (Riverwind) on an impossible task, to find the old gods. He was gone for years, she thought him dead. He did return but hurt, thin, and with fever. He talked in his dreams about a broken city where death flew on black wings. Riverwind presented the staff to the Chieftain saying it was from a godess, his sign of the true gods. He declared blashphemy and pronounced Riverwind to die. Goldmoon helped him escape using the blue crystal staff on him as he was being stoned, and it magically transported them to the road near Solace; that was only two days ago. 14:00-20:00 -Tas comes back telling of 8 clerics coming, it doesn’t look right -They go to hide in the bush but Sturm won’t hide, so he waits on the road for their arrival -Sturm tries to get information from them about the road ahead, they question him about a blue crystal staff, saying they need it to heal a nearly dead companion. Their cloaks conceal them completely but his voice sounds like a snake’s not a human's. -Goldmoon comes forward from the bush offering to help their injured companion. Some of the friends follow onto the road while others remain hidden. -Goldmoon goes to the wagon where the hurt one is, lets out a scream and a flash from the staff. A battle ensues and the clerics are revealed as reptilian in nature. The companions have never seen or heard of such creatures, complete with wings. -when killed the reptiles turn to stone, encasing the blade within in, which slows down the momentum of the companions’ attack. -Goldmoon is able to use the blue crystal staff as a magical weapon as well as to heal -Raistlin sets the cart on fire with magic and the companions manage a fighting withdrawl -they flee for high ground to Prayer’s Eye Peak 20:00-25:00 -the companions are being boxed in by the creatures, and reinforcements. Their only escape route is to skirt Darken Wood -Riverwind says these reptile creatures are the ones from his experiences of the dark city -Tanis tells the Barbarians about Sturm, and remind them how the people turned on the Knights of Solamnia when the true gods allowed the Catacalysm to happen. Sturm’s heritage which he has embraced has made him a pariah in most quarters -Sturm sees a white stag which none of the others can see, and convinces the party to follow it, despite the fact that he is also suffering from a head wound sustained in the battle -from high ground the companions see the dark smoke of campfires, so large it must be a large army to the north. -the stag leads them into Darken Wood, a decision that is not popular and Tanis’ leadership begins to come into question -Tanis and Flint have a sentimental moment about the two of them growing old, and needing each other more then ever 25:00-30:00 -the companions travel for a few hours until sundown following a path through darken wood made by animals. -they come to an open glade to camp for the night and do so despite Raistlin’s objections that it is a bad idea to leave the path -camp is set using Raistlin’s staff for light, with Tanis outlawing any hunting or disturbance of the forest -before they are even down for the night, as soon as night falls, they are surrounded by undead skeleton warriors -Raistlin casts a spell which enables the spectral minions to speak through him -when Tas tells them the story of the blue crystal staff they demand to see it. -they are summoned to a court where more of their kin are. They are undead charged with completing their failed earthly mission to keep evil out of Darken Wood -the companions are taken by centaurs to the “forestmaster” and relieved of all their weapons, except the blue crystal staff 30:00-32:00 -the forestmaster, a unicorn, and the centaurs provide a feast for the weary companions -Tas sings his Kender Trail Song, interrupted when Raistlin asks the Forestmaster about the winged creatures they fought today, destroying the mood. 32:00-37:00 -she says they are Draconians, from the order of Draco, and are not from any animal species of this world -the armies to the north are more Draconians. No route is safe. She tells them that they must travel over the Eastwall mountains and have the staff in Xak Tsaroth in two days, where if they prove worthy they will be given the greatest gift given to the world. -the companions debate where to go next, and whether to split up -Tanis takes council with Raistlin who predicts that the armies will over run Solace and Haven, that bigger things drive this then the Seekers. He is very bitter with Tanis though because he see’s himself as the smartest and should be the leader. He speaks of a ruined temple to the old gods in Xak Tsaroth and the undoing of the armies will be by this gift they receive. 37:00-42:00 -the companions are provided pegasi by the forestmaster to fly over the Eastwall mountains -the pegasi though have to leave the companions part way through the journey as they get word that evil is brewing that they need to attend to -the Barbarians can see their town Que-Shu burning from the mountains -at Que-Shu they find the charred bodies of plainsmen in the destroyed village as well as hung and burned Hobgoblins with a warning posted that "this is what happens to those who take prisoners against my commands – Lord Verminaard" 42:00-45:00 -to the instrumental “Burning of Que-Shu” we see the companions look for survivors to no avail. We see memories of the Barbarians with their kin; many now dead. -we see many of the companions openly weeping, a very depressed Tas, an inconsolable Goldmoon, as they pack up and leave, making their way long after nightfall. 45:00-46:00 Promotion of the CD for the show “DragonLance” 46:00-47:00 Preview of next episode 47:00-48:00 [closing credits]

Terror rips through the bar as the flames begin to burn inside -Hederick is crying on the steps as he looks down to see Draconian armies marching into town and 5 red dragons circling overhead 37:00-45:00 -back to the present, we see that the Inn is no longer in the trees but on the ground -Six draconians walk into the bar throwing the closed sign to the floor, pronouncing the bar open. Otik and Tika do not object. The town has been occupied -that evening a week after the bar had been burned its very busy, mostly with draconians, hobgoblins, a few human mercenaries, and only a handful of wary townsfolk. -the companions enter the bar, looking like refugees -Tika wants to go with the group. She tells them that more and more people are shipped out to the mines as slaves every day - a hooded stranger is passing by a table of Draconians who trip him up, revealing him to be an Elf - Tika nailed a draconian in the face with a frying pan to buy the companions long enough to reach the Elf as the draconians were prepared to kill him on the spot - A battle ensues and some draconians escape to get more reinforcements - Apparently in the heat of the battle the companions recognize and know the elf, Gilthanas, who does not seem to bear any love for Tanis - Eventually after a good fight the companions have no choice but to surrender, a decision which Sturm does not take lightly - The group gives up their weapons and packs, including the Disks and lay them together on the floor. 1.05 - "The Speaker of the Suns"
0:00-1:00 Opening music – “Solace is Burning” by Danny Elfman 1:00-2:00 Review of last episode 2:00-2:45 [opening credits] 2:45-3:00 Map of Abanasinia 3:00-8:00 -the companions wake in the morning and they are in a cage on wheels, part of a slave caravan being prepared to ship out led by Fewmaster Toede himself being delivered to Lord Verminaard -the cage is opened momentarily to admit one more slave, a friend of the companions, Theros Ironfeld the town’s blacksmith. His crime was helping Elves escape the death sentence put on them by Lord Verminaard -Goldmoon, much to the amazement of Gilthanas, cures a fatal headwound on Theros. -The caravan reaches Gateway, but instead of a thriving town they are greeted by another burnned out town 8:00-15:00 -Goldmoon and Tanis examine the Disks of Mishkal, they have odd ciphers on them, but nothing the two can discern -Raistlin has a flashback remembering a trip to the fair as a child with Tika, Caramon, and his father. It was there he first saw a magician and found his true calling -Tanis also remembers his upbringing as the half-breed son of The Speaker of the Suns in the Elflands, half brother of Gilthanas, best friends. By the time Tanis had grown older though he was more aware of the embarrsment of being a half-breed and his father and brother were not unhappy when he left for other lands. -the caravan stops to take another prisoner, a demented old man who is found wandering around talking and yelling at trees and rocks. He’s thrown into the cage with the companions where he introduces himself as Fizban and says he is going to Qualinost. -Fizban tends to Raistlin’s cough, and Raistlin recognizes him as magi 15:00-21:00 -Tas and Tanis make friends with Setsun, a gully dwarf who is serving as one of the guards -suddenly the caravan is besieged by arrows. Gilanthas tells Tanis that it is an Elven rescue attempt led by his brother Porthios. -the companions convince Setsun to help them escape the cage, but the gully dwarf’s small axe is not forceful enough to break the lock. The draconians are closing in, and with escape possible they have weapons poised and ready to kill the companions rather then risk them escape -Fizban stood up, and muttered away before casting a fireball, which caught some of the woods on fire, and the floor of the cage on fire, but did not break the lock. But now that it was heated one good shot from Setsun and it was broken. -Caramon and Sturm fight off some Draconians covering a retreat into the woods, but have to retreat themselves when two dead ones suddenly begin to emit some poisonous gas into the air. The companions are met by Gilthanas and some elves who help them retreat into the Elflands, against the desires of Riverwind. 21:00-31:00 -The elfs, the companions, and the other freed prisoners gather in a glade. Poirthos tells the freed slaves to travel southeast to where the dragonlord does not rule. Goldmoon gets in a heated argument with him saying they are just simple folks who can’t do that trip on their own. Gilthanas speaks with his brother in Elvish about Goldmoon and her healing. Poirthois “requests” that the companions go with him to Qualinost (they are surrounded by elven warriors) -Gilthanas leads the group to go speak with the Speaker of the Suns. Gil and Tanis have an opporuntity to talk, and after a few terse words make their peace. Gil tells Tanis that the Elves are preparing to leave Qualinesti, it is in its last days, dying out. -They are led to a meeting with the Speaker and the heads of each Elven household. After introductions are made Gil is asked about his raid at Pax Tharkas. --His story tells of Elves and freedom fighters from Gateway, by bad luck meeting an advance group of draconians. They were defeated and many taken prisoner to Solace. There they brought in dragons and Lord Verminaard. Verminaard said that many of the former seekers have converted to his side, an option open to the human prisoners, but not the Elfs who will never change. He says that only he has the ability to heal, proving he is the only real representative of the ancient gods. Verminaard pronounces that all Elfs shall die. They were then burned at the stake by a red dragon. He tried to rush to his own death out of fury, but was held back by Theros Inronfeld until he passed out, and was then brought to Theros’ home. Gil spoke of Theros’ head wound and of it being cured by Goldmoon. -The Speaker does not belive Goldmoon to be a healer and when she shows him the medallion around her neck he calls blasphemy and attempts to remove it only to be crumbled by a blue flash of light. -tempers flare but the bumbling old magi Fizban manages to sooth the mood -the Speaker adjourns to have time to think and consult -as they break up they are greeted by a lovely elf maiden “Laurana” who its obvious has history with Tanis. Laurana is Tanis’ sister but only because they were raised in the same house. Tanis was born from the Speaker’s sister-in-law, a bastard half-breed that he took in as his own. 31:00-34:00 -Laurana introduces herself to each companion -She greets Tanis with love, belieiving he has come back for her, and apologizing for her brothers' actions -Tanis has to tell her that his coming back was a coincidence, and when she doesn't believe it he tells her he loves a human woman named Kitiara -He says he can't marry her, his heart is divided between two woman, just like his blood. He returns her ring. 34:00-42:00 -a feast is held, but most of the companions just feel awkward amongst the elves for various reasons -Gilthanas sings and is joined by the other elves, singing goodbye to their homeland -Meeting with the speaker of the suns to go over the Elven plan to abandon the city. But they need to buy time from the armies. He asks the companions to go to Pax Tharkas to free the human slaves there and to buy the elves time -the companions confer. Tanis wants to break up the group, sending some with the Disks with the Elves for safety, but the companions refuse and stick together. -Fizban insists on going with the companions 42:00-44:00 -That night Laurana sneaks into Tanis' bed trying to persuade him to go with her and the Elves, saying he will die otherwise -Tanis explains to her that he will not let his friends go without him, and that sometimes you have to stand for something greater then yourself -Tanis sends her away 44:00-46:00 -Reprise of the Elves's Goodbye song -while we watch the companions prepare for the suicidical task of attacking an army at Pax Tharkas 46:00-47:00 -preview of next episode 47:00-48:00 -end credits

1.06 - "Betrayal"
0:00-1:00 Opening music "When Autumn Ends" 1:00-3:00 Review of previous episodes 3:00-3:45 [Opening Credits] 3:45-4:00 Map of Abansinia
4:00-6:00 "When Autumn ends" plays -Gilthanas leads the party out of Qualinesti at first light 6:00-12:00 -Raistlin disapears for a bit, to collect herbs for his magic, but many are suspicious, believing he is betraying them. Fizban alerts Tanis that someone is following them but no one belives the old man. -They come to an old camp site, with signs of a battle. They find a survivor, Eben, an elf known to Gilthanas. But this distraction allows a dozen draconians to attack them from the woods. -the companions win the battle without serious injury, and Tika battles for the first time with sword and armor. After the battle Caramon and Tika share a first kiss that makes Caramon's brother Raistlin angry. -Gilthanas gives Eben the 5th degree, and obviously suspects him of being a traitor, as he was the sole survivor of the battle
12:00-15:00 -the companions arrive and study the big mountainside city of Pax Tharkas, that looks impenetrable. Gil says there is a secret entrance and that is how they will enter -Sturm tells Tanis that the old man was right, they are being followed.
15:00-24:00 -Eben has a side conversation with Tanis, telling him his men had suspicisions that Gilthanas was a traitor and led them into the Draconian's clutches. Tanis has known Gil for a long time so he doesn't believe it but many of the companions over hear it, and they already disliked Gil, so they seem to take it to heart. -they reach the entrance only to find out it is a burial chamber of a former Elven King. Raistlin senses great evil within, but there is no other way into Pax Tharkas. -the companions make their way though dark and spooky catacombs until they come across the skeleton of Kith-Kanan sitting on a gold throne. -they are attacked by a giant slug who badly injures Tanis, and the companions fall back behind the throne as their attacks seem unable to penetrate his thick skin. -whoever was following them is revealed to be Laurana, the elf, because she has to run ahead of the slug to avoid it, and is chased into the room where the companions are. -As Tanis falls back, wounded, trying to protect Laurana he leans agains the skeleton and throne, and feels Kith-Kanan's sword in his hand. Taking it as an omen he uses the glowing sword to destroy the slug with one vicious swing. -Gilthanas tries to get Laurana to go back home, but that is not practical now, she can not turn back. She will have to join them. -Tanis calls her a spoiled brat that needs to grow up, that she puts other people in danger. She again tells Tanis that she loves him, and that she will not disapoint him. -Raistlin tells Tanis that it was Kith-Kanan himself who gave his sword to Tanis.
24:00-31:00 -they reach the crypts of the Royal Guard, elven soldiers charged with protecting their King, even after they are dead. -the spectre Royal Guards do appear, and remembering Darken Wood that there is no way to battle the dead, the friends prepare for the worst. -but Fizban tells Goldmoon to reveal the necklace of Mishkal which she does, and the magic of the ancient gods makes the spectres stop and retreat, allowing the companions to pass -they make their way to the chain room, the famous defense mechanism of Pax Tharkas -they find only one unexplored way out, but Raistlin tells them not to take it, as he senses great evil. Gil takes it anyway, and they find themselves in a gold filled treasure room. -however, they are not alone, as Raistlin was right, they are dealing with the spirit of a dark elf. -they manage to sprint through the room, only Eben suffering damage from her deadly touch. But as they close the door and Raistlin attempts to seal it with magic, the dark elf tries to counter from behind the door, battling wit and might with Raistlin. -the dark elf begins to materialize coming through the door, winning the battle. But Raistlin seems to find new strength, speaking in a loud voice not his own, as if possessed, and he manages to seal the door, as the dark elf wails from the other side. -Raistlin passes out and is carried by his brother Caramon. They find a door to a stock room, and they are now in Pax Tharkas. But then they realize that in the commotion Fizban and Tas have disappeared.
31:00-36:00 -Tas and Fizban escaped the room by going back to the chain room and climbing up the chain. Fizban is prodding Tas along. While he seems crazy you get the feel that he is setting something up. -The other companions regroup and look at a map of the city supplied by Gil. They come up with a plan to free the children that are being held hostage by the Draconians, as without them the miners will never revolt. -Eben again tries to pain Gil with suspicion making Tanis angry -Goldmoon says she "knows" that Lord Verminaard is aware of her presence here, his evil godess is the counterbalance to her godess Mishkal. They must get going and act fast before she is tracked. -Tas and Fizban find themselves in a room directly above the private chambers of the Dragon, Ember and Lord Verminaard.
36:00-39:00 -Fewmaster Toede brings Verminaard two prisoners; Setsun the Gully Dwarf, and an old man who Toede thinks is a spy. Verminaard is not impressed. -A draconian reports secretly to Ember that "the spy" has been succesful in bringing the cleric (Goldmoon) into the city. Fizban and Tas realize that there is a spy in the group and the have been betrayed.
39:00-43:00 -The companions snuck into the lodgings of the women who are held prisoner, seperate from the men. They basically have all day, and the women are able to put together enough clothes to try and disguise the companions as women. -Both Sturm and Riverwind are very opposed but compromises are reached. -The companions find out that the Dragon that they will have to fight to free the children, a red called Flamestrike, is nothing short of a mothering old beast, who loves the human childen and treats them like her own kin -Tanis apologizes to Laurana for the way he spoke to her, but Laurana tells him he was right -When it is time to go, the women take supper to the men in the mines, Raistlin does not join them. He says he is still too weak to walk and they leave him huddled up resting in a corner.
43:00-45:00 -Tas and Fizban crawl along the tops of the rooms looking for a way out. They come across an art display, and Tas sees a picture of knights fighting dragons, but with chromatic dragons fighting alongside the knights. Tas has a sudden realization that if the evil dragons have come back then so should the good dragons. He also sees the long forgotten "dragonlance" in the picture. Fizban though tells him it is too early for him to remember that, and he uses a spell to wipe it from Tas' memory.

1.07 - "The Green Gemstone Man"
0:00-1:00 Opening music "Flamestrike" 1:00-3:00 Review of previous episodes 3:00-3:45 [Opening Credits] 3:45-4:00 Map of Abansinia
4:00-7:00 The companions make their way to the male slaves uneventfully but find they are resistant to their plans, not wanting to chance dying. Included in their number are many of the theocrats from Solace. However one theocrat named Elistan who is dying asks Goldmoon to tell him about word of the gods returning. She does better then that she heals him. This convinces and rallies the slaves. However, Sturm tells Tanis they must move as both Gilthanas and Eben have slipped away.
7:00-9:00 The gully dwarf Setsun is brought to Ember, who refuses to eat him, saying Verminaard has lost his senses. A cloaked figure appears and gives an update on the companions. We do not see who it is but above, spying, Fizban and Tas do and are so shocked they almost give themselves away. The cloaked figure says the "green gemstone man" is within his reach, the one the dark lord herself seeks.
9:00-11:00 Back at the woman's quarters the companions prepare to spend the night. Eben and Gil are both back when the companions return. Eben says he went to investigate a noise and ended up getting into a fight and killing two draconians. The companions report having seen the bodies on their way back, so his story is plausible. At first Gil doesn't want to say where he was, but finally admits to returning to the quarters early to check on Raistlin, and found him to be gone. Raistlin admits to being gone but refuses to say where he was, claiming they all think he is guilty anyway.
11:00-13:00 In the morning Tas and Fizban wake up, having fallen asleep before hatching their plan to save Setsun. However they decide to do it anyway. Fizban attempts to levitate Setsun up, but ends up levitating the sleeping Dragon up a bit on the first attempt, but then suceeds on the second attempt to resuce Setsun. Before they can leave though Verminaard enters Ember's chambers to say that trouble is brewing with the slaves...their conversation ends abruptly as they see Fizban's hat floating down in the air.
13:00-15:00 The companions go with the woman to where the children are kept with the aging dragon Flamestrike. But there are draconian guards posted which is not normal, and they insist on searching the woman. The companions strike first and fast beating killing them, but the gully dwarfs who were leading the woman manage to escape.
15:00-17:00 Ember flys up as Tas, Fizban, and Setsun run away along the higher levels. Ember blasts them three times with his fire but Fizban has cast a spell to protect them from the flames effects. They reach the chain room and begin to climb down. Ember blasts them again, but again it has no effect. So the dragon changes tactics and blasts the chain instead. He heats one part until it breaks and the three climbing down fall far below.
17:00-20:00 The companions try and sneak past the old dragon Flamestrike still in disguise with the woman. But Tanis' sword he got from Kith-Kanan begins to glow and hum alerting the dragon. Tanis and Raistlin stay to fight the dragon, who is waiting for the children to be evacuated before striking, while the rest of the companions join the woman in escorting the children. Its a chaotic scene as the children are escorted outside to their play area, as they are fond of the old gentle dragon and are crying and trying to go hug it. Finally they exit only to see flying in the air above them Ember.
20:00-21:00 Fizban tries to cast feather fall to save them but only gets off the word Feather. They are enveloped in millions of chicken feathers. Tas and Setsun are okay but can't find Fizban and presume he is dead.
21:00-23:00 Tanis and Raistlin quickly leave the room instead of staying to fight Flamestrike, joining their friends and the woman and childen in the courtyard. Soon they are joined by the males who have overcome the guards. But Ember circles above. Tanis and Sturm realize that Eben is missing, reportedly gone to the mines, and they seem to figure out why.
23:00-25:00 Eben searches amongst the slaves until he finds Berem, the green gemstone man, who turns out to have been one of the prisoners all along. He tells the man he is his friend and is helping him escape the mines.
25:00-27:00 Tanis, Sturm, and Raistlin caught Eben and Berem before he could make his escape. But as Sturm was about to kill Eben he was stopped by Berem, who's shirt then ripped open to reveal a green gemstone embedded in his chest. In the shock and confusion Eben and Berem managed to escape. However, Ember and Verminaard landed on top of the tower that they were exiting through and in his fury Ember destroyed the tower, sending debris falling down and crushing both Eben and Berem.
27:00-29:00 Ember and Verminaard swooped in down low to attack, only to be blindsided by the old dragon Flamestrike. The two dragons collision caused Ember to roll and Verminaard fell out to the courtyard below. He was shaken but still okay, and most fled, except for the companions.
29:00-31:00 The slaves suddenly realized their peril and began to flee to the mountains, fighting the draconians in their way with whatever weapons they could find.
31:00-34:00 Verminaard called upon the power of the dark lord to fall Raistlin with merely a touch of his hands, then used his mace to funnel more of the dark lords powers and blind Caramon, then dropping him with a follow up swing of the mace. Tanis clashed with him sword to mace, but Verminaard was much stronger and hurled Tanis to the ground. Sturm made the mistake of saluting to his opponent before attacking, and Verminaard used that delay to hit him with a poison dart that caused him to drop with muscle convulsions. He was about to swing and finish off Sturm when his hand was grabbed and stopped in mid-swing, by Goldmoon.
34:00-38:00 Verminaard tried to call down the powers of the dark lord on Goldmoon, but her own goddess protected her. He cast a darkness spell though as Riverwind was closing in. In the darkness he was able to fall both Goldmoon and Riverwind with shots of his mace, but he was not ready when Tanis attacked him from behind with the sword of Kith-Kanan. This was followed up by Sturm striking a blow from the front. As he died he asked his goddess why she forsake him. In the air, Flamestrike managed to duck under a flame attack by Ember and tackle the younger dragon into another tower. The two dragons toppled the tower and were crushed underneath the debris.
38:00-42:00 Weeks later, on the last day of Autumn, Elistan presided over the wedding of Goldmoon and Riverwind, attended by all the companions. There during the celebration Sturm and Tanis spot Berem, the green gemstone man. Amazed that he survived they go to talk to him but he slips away.

Promo TBA would like to take a moment out to recognize the work of a few of our fans over in Turkey who have put together a little DragonLance trailer of their own. We at TBA love the encouragement of our fans, and fully support this type of amateur production as well as fan fiction. Unlike some productions we will not send our lawyers out to squash this type of material. Hats off to our loyal fans. Actually I much prefer this second one
