Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Vincent Regliatti defeated Zakk Wylde by submission to the figure-four at 4:47 **glorified squash match
Bout #2 Non-Title Match Bryan Caruthers & Jerry Orth defeated Matt Fairlane & Ryan Price when Caruthers pinned Fairlane by pinfall after a spinebuster slam at 6:11 **the tag champs had very little problem dispatching their opponents.
Interview: The Spinebusters call the Road Warriors cowards, saying they were supposed to be here tonight but did not show. Greg Gagne came to the ring and told the Busters not to worry, the Roadies would be here next week and that title bout is set.
Bout #3 Tiger Khan defeated Sumu Hara by pinfall after a Tiger Driver at 8:15 **rematch. Solid ground game by both men. Khan used an undetected lowblow to set up the finisher.
Bout #4 Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton defeated Native Sons: Wavell Starr & Eddie Mustang by pinfall when Knight pinned Mustang after a release powerbomb at 8:55 **even though the teams seemed to be evenly matched it was still considered a minor upset because the Native Sons seemed to be on a roll.
Bout #5 North American Women's Title Match Jessica Judd defeated Chris Lydon (/w Stacey Lynn) by pinfall after a swinging neckbreaker at 7:23 [Jessica Judd retained the North American Women's Title] **Lydon did all right but Judd took everything she gave and gave it right back at her. Lydon had control and went to whip Judd to the ropes, but the champ reversed it and Lynn reached in and tripped up Lydon. Of course with the reverse it wasn't sure if she thought she was going to trip up Judd or meant to trip up her friend Lydon for some reason. After the trip Judd nailed a running legdrop and then her finisher. After the bout Lynn and Lydon had a heated conversation.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
As always the show starts off with a review of the dark matches from earlier in the evening.
Bout #6 Elimination Handi-Cap Match Shane Madison & King Kong Bundy defeated Players Club: Chris Parys, Donnie DiCaprio, & Will Damon at 7:40 [King Kong Bundy pinned Donnie DiCaprio after an avalanche splash at 4:36] [King Kong Bundy pinned Will Damon after an avalanche splash at 6:37] [Chris Parys was disqualified for outside interference at 7:40] **Bundy dominated, and when Madison was tagged in he had no problems with the Players Club either. The end of the match though occured when former TV champion Stan Baker hit the ring for unknown reasons and attacked Bundy from behind with a wooden ax handle. Baker laid down a beating on Bundy and Madison before RCW officials could break it up.
Main Event Steve Riley & Chrome defeated Sam Holiday & Al Hardamann by pinfall when Riley pinned Hardamann after an Emerald Flowsion at 9:01 **a bit of an upset, but it does set up some top contenders for the titles where previously there was a void. The challengers cheated and risked DQ throughout the bout but the end was solid with Hardamann having been double teamed and worked over and Riley was able to put him away. While that was going on Chrome was outside the ring delivering a chokeslam to the Heavyweight champion Holiday. When Chrome realized what happened he seemed to be torn between being happy for the win and mad at allowing Riley to make the pin.

Dark Matches Before Rage
Opening Bout Ryan Price defeated Zakk Wylde by pinfall after a top rope hurancanrana at 7:42 **two young high flyers, both fan favourites, who made the most of their opportunity to spotlight their abilities.
Bout #2 Tiger Khan defeated Matt Fairlane by pinfall after a Tiger Bomb at 5:56 **glorified squash match
Bout #3 Great Canadians: Eric Scott & Vincent Regliatti defeated Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton by submission when Regliatti submitted Dalton with the figure four at 10:35 **solid tag match but the GC are just a little more skilled, and don't hesitate to cheat whenever possible. They want to get back into the tag title picture.
Bout #4 Derek St. Holmes, ESQ defeated Sumu Hara by pinfall after a falling inverted DDT (and outside interference) at 6:07 **Premiere of St. Holmes, a thin, arrogant looking Mommy's boy with some skills but limited physical presence. He tried to play mind games with Hara but it didn't take the no nonsense Japanese wrestler long to just ground Holmes and take over. However, Hara's nemesis in his short stint so far in RCW, Tiger Khan came down to ringside. Khan was able to distract Hara, and then later he had a steel chair ready, leaning up against the ring apron, and when Holmes distracted the ref Khan baited Hara to come over, and then he nailed him with the steel chair.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Highlights of the Dark Matches start the show.
Bout #5 Will Damon and Donnie DiCaprio Banned from the Building Shane Madison & King Kong Bundy defeated Chris Parys & Stan Baker by pinfall when Bundy pinned Parys after an avalanche splash at 5:05 **Bundy got to finish off Parys but didn't really get his revenge against Baker who chickened out rather than face the legend.
Bout #6 RCW Television Title Match "Total Destruction" Steve Riley defeated Al Hardamann by disqualification for use of a foreign object (steel chair) at 8:47 [Al Hardamann retained the RCW Television Title] **Riley was a legitimate threat to Hardamann's title, and in fact the champ seemed like the underdog throughout the bout. When the match spilled outside Riley elevated the level of violence with a spear into the guardrail, and then smashing him head first off the announce table. As Riley was going back into the ring Hardamann grabbed a steel chair and ~waffled~ Riley over the back. The fans cheered that but if he had been the heel it would have been seen as an intentional DQ to maybe save his belt. The two continued to brawl inside the ring after the referee Jennifer Greaves called for the DQ.
Main Event RCW Tag Team Title Match The Road Warriors: Hawk & Animal defeated The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers by pinfall when Animal pinned Caruthers after the Doomsday device at 10:15 [The Road Warriors win the RCW Tag Team Titles] **Another chapter in this feud, and a rare (as of late) title change. The match went back and forth and the Busters proved they were not an easy opponent. In fact they had control of the bout when Caruthers had Animal's arms held behind his back as Orth came off the top buckle for an elbowsmash. But Animal moved out of the way and Orth nailed his partner. The fans were on their feet as the Roadies tossed Orth over the top rope and nailed Caruthers with their finisher to take the belts. This will be the Road Warriors' second title reign, and ends The Spinebusters third run with the belts. It is the 78th title reign in the over 21 year history of the belts.

River City Wrestling #865 February 24, 2001 Omaha, Nebraska
We are back after a one week hiatus due to a TV scheduling conflict.
Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Ryan Price defeated Matt Fairlane after a top rope hurancanrana at 8:01 **Two straight weeks with opening bouts featuring face vs face youngsters, and the second straight victory for Price.
Bout #2 Derek St. Holmes, Esq & Tiger Khan defeated Sumu Hara & Zakk Wylde by pinfall when Khan pinned Wylde after a Tiger Driver at 8:35 **so the blow off match in the Khan-Hara mini-feud is a tag match? St. Holmes is not very good, but he is sneaky, and Wylde was the weak link in this bout.
Bout #3 Six-Man Tag Match Players Club: Will Damon, Donnie DiCaprio & Chris Parys defeated Shane Madison, Adam Knight & Darren Dalton by pinfall when Donnie DiCaprio pinned Adam Knight after a tornado DDT at 10:30 **decent enough bout as everyone had a turn to shine in this one. In the end the PC went over giving them a much needed victory. Madison didn't look as dominate without Bundy as a partner.
Bout #4 The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bran Caruthers defeated Great Canadians: Eric Scott & Vincent Regliatti by pinfall when Orth pinned Scott after a top rope kneedrop at 9:58 **former champs wait for their rematch against the Road Warriors, and come up with the victory in this heel vs heel match. It was sold that if the GC won they would also get a title shot but of course that did not come to pass and now the GC must go back to the starting board.
Bout #5 North American Women's Title Match Jessica Judd defeated Stacey Lynn and Chris Lydon by pinfall when Judd pinned Lynn after a swinging neckbreaker at 7:15 [Jessica Judd retained the North American Women's Title] **the story of this bout was the final disintegration in the alliance between Lynn and Lydon. The two turned on each other a couple times during the match and Lynn ended up costing Lydon the win by breaking up a sure pinfall. After the bout the fight between the two blondes continued as Judd got the hell out of dodge with her strap.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
As usual RAGE opens with highlights from the dark matches earlier in the night.
Bout #6 Stan Baker and King Kong Bundy battled to a no-contest at 5:31 **brawl that went outside the ring and was thrown out. Nothing was settled.
Bout #7 RCW Television Title Match Al Hardamann defeated "Total Destruction" Steve Riley by countout at 7:23 [Al Hardamann retained the RCW Television Title] **Riley controlled early and has looked dominant since arriving in RCW at last year's anniversary show. Hardamann took control of the bout when it spilled outside, but then Riley quickly took over once again inside. Hardamann was having a real tough time. Would he repeat last time when he basically got himself disqualified to keep his title even though he is a face? Coming off the ropes both men went for a cross body block and smashed their knees together. As Riley laid under the bottom ring rope, Hardamann was able to use his good leg to kick him out of the ring. Referee Jennifer Greaves applied the 10 count to Hardamann inside the ring to get up, and to Riley outside the ring to get back inside. The champ managed to get to his feet at the count of 8, holding onto the ropes, but Riley could not recover and took the countout. Both men had to be helped to the back and neither was putting weight on their banged up leg.
Televised Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Chrome by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 10:48 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **Two big men clash. While Chrome is bigger (6'9 340) than Holiday (6'9 285), Holiday is by far the more experienced and better grappler. Eventually Chrome got frustrated that he couldn't keep the champ down and resorted to using the ring bell which caused referee Buddy Lane to call for the DQ.
Post-Match: Chrome laid in a bit of a beat down on the champ, and with Hardamann hobbled, and no Road Warriors on site tonight it took the combined efforts of the dressing room emptying to save the champ. Both dressing rooms emptied as we,

Dark Match After RAGE
Untelevised Main Event 18-Man Over the Top Battle Royale King Kong Bundy won an 18-Man Battle Royale last eliminating Stan Baker at 15:15 **originally this was to be a 20-man battle royale. It sent the fans home happy after a couple less than satisfactory match endings. Al Hardamann and Steve Riley were originally scheduled to participate but could not go after their knee to knee collision. Chrome was banned from taking their place because of his actions at the end of the previous match. **others eliminated of course were wrestlers appearing earlier tonight; Ryan Price, Matt Fairlane, Derek St. Holmes, Tiger Khan, Sumu Hara, Zakk Wylde, Donnie DiCaprio, Will Damon, Chris Parys, Shane Madison, Adam Knight, Darren Dalton, Jerry Orth, Bryan Caruthers, Eric Scott, and Vincent Regliatti.
