Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Gene Swan defeated Ryan Price by pinfall after an inside cradle (and a handful of sand to the face) at 3:00 **I guess this was a minor upset although both guys are curtain jerkers. Swan who had words with Starr/Mustang last week used a handful of sand to the face to aid his victory.
Bout #2 Chrome defeated Adam Knight by pinfall after a chokeslam at 5:10 **Chrome makes his impressive debut in RCW. He has a bit of a Terminator like gimmick going, part biker, part futuristic. Yes another big man who uses the chokeslam and powerbomb. But Chrome is HUGE coming in at 6'9 and 340 lbs. He has previously wrestled in Stampede as Cyborg, and in Puerto Rico as Pain. He made short work of Knight making the 6'5 295 pounder look small.
Bout #3 Vincent Regliatti defeated Spike Dudley by countout at 6:46 **rematch for Regs and he got his revenge. Dudley controlled early but Regs than went to the legs of Spike and slowed the match down. After an unsuccessful figure-four inside the ring he applied it twice outside the ring, having to break it both times to beat the 10 count back inside the ring. After the second time Spike's leg was too damaged and he couldn't make it back into the ring.
Post-Match:Regs went back after Dudley. Vic Gate came out to try and talk reason to his former protege only to have Regs punch him out. Spike was having problems getting his feet under him, but he crawled forward and headbutted the back of Regs leg, and then bit him. Regs though kicked him in the head and then went after the knee again. Next man out was actually Greg Pawluk in street clothes. Pawluk was hobbling from a bad back after being attacked by Scotty Anton last week, but between Gate, Dudley, and Pawluk they managed to do enough damage to get Regliatti to retreat to the dressing room.
Bout #4 Donnie DiCaprio & Will Damon defeated Chris Parys & Shane Madison by pinfall when DiCaprio pinned Madison after a twisting moonsault at 8:11 **Chris Parys turned on his partner Madison during this bout. There wasn't much to tip off that it would happen, but at the right time Parys dropped off the apron instead of making a tag. The Players Club finished off Madison after each taking their best shots.
Post-Match: Chris Parys joins the other two Players Club members in the ring laying the boots to Madison before RCW officials put a stop to it. The Players Club though stayed in the ring to explain that Parys had now joined the PC, ironically taking the place of the man he turned on Shane Madison. Parys says Madison may want to be a lone wolf, but in today's world you need a posse. He thanks Madison for making an opening for him in the coolest club going today.
Bout #5 Scotty Anton defeated Balls Mahoney by submission to the Clap at 11:34 **best bout of the night so far with two guys who have ECW experience. Anton got busted open about 5 minutes in, and it seemed to encourage him to pick up the intensity. Lots of action outside the ring including using foreign objects, but referee Buddy Lane allowed it probably because both men were participating with zeal. In the end Anton had weakened the back of Mahoney enough (including a top rope knee drop onto his back), to get the hardcore competitor to actually tap out to the finisher.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
**We are back after a week off, last week we were pre-empted for syndicated Halloween programming**
Bout #6 North American Women's Title Match Stacey Lynn (/w Chris Lydon) and Jessica Judd (/w Becky Swallows) battled to a no-contest at 4:25 [Stacey Lynn retained the North American Women's Title] **This was Judd's automatic rematch after dropping the title two weeks ago. Lydon and Swallows got involved again and it turned into a clusterbout with no clear result.
Promo: River City Wrestling's biggest show of the year, the year end Anniversary Spectacular returns on Saturday, December 9th from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Commissioner Greg Gagne is in the ring. After the shenanigans of two weeks ago he has signed three matches for the Anniversary show. But first tonight, in the main event, Sam Holiday will be taking on Stan Baker, with the Heavyweight title on the line again. But tonight it will be one one one, inside a steel cage! The results of that match will help define the Anniversary show, but for now we have three main event calibre matches set. First, Manny Silva appeared from nowhere after being missing in action for weeks, and attacked Holiday like a coward. Silva is banned from RCW until the Anniversary show, but at the anniversary show he will have to fight the man he wronged Sam Holiday. If Holiday has the Heavyweight title on that day then it will be a title match. Second, the Stan Baker vs Al Hardamann feud has been a great one. In fact this year has seen 3 really great candidates for the year end feud of the year. The Vampiro - Nick Mercury feud was one, and this Baker - Hardamann was another. Hardamann has not yet been cleared to wrestle but it looks like he will be by December. So pending his clearance, Hardamann will fight Stan Baker (for the TV title if he still holds it, or the Heavyweight title if he wins it tonight). Third match signed will be the return of fan favourites The Road Warriors: Hawk & Animal. The monsters from Chicago are coming back to RCW for one reason and one reason only, to face the Spinebusters. The Busters - Warriors is definitely the third feud of the year candidate. Now if the busters still have the tag titles then it will be a title belt, but the Road Warriors have made it clear, titles or no-titles, they want the Spinebusters.
Bout #7 RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Native Sons: Wavell Starr & Eddie Mustang by pinfall when Caruthers pinned Mustang after a spinebuster slam at 8:22 [Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **Not sure many people thought the Sons had a real chance to win the belts but they were fairly competitive throughout. Gene Swan came down to ringside wearing his headdress and making ceremonial smoke again. This distracted Mustang at a bad time, and got Starr involved. Referee Jennifer Greaves was putting Starr out of the ring which allowed a double team by the busters with a low blow by Orth setting up Caruthers' finisher.
Main Event CAGE MATCH RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Stan Baker by pinfall after a top rope legdrop at 11:37 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **Hard fought and dirty bout, but no shenanigans, just two tough hombres going at it. Holiday got busted open hard way and then Baker raked his head several times across the cage wall to spread it around. Despite that Holiday kept getting stronger as the bout moved on, showing he is in better shape than Baker the TV champion. In the end Baker went for a slam, but Holiday floated over, drove Baker head first into the cage wall. A series of three elbowdrops, and a vertical suplex set up his finisher. Decisive victory for the champ.

Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Handi-Cap Match Chrome defeated Squeegee Kid & Zakk Wylde by pinfall when Chrome pinned Wylde after a chokeslam at 4:29 **typical big man vs two small men handicap bout.
Bout #2 Chris Lydon defeated Becky Swallows by pinfall after s slingshot suplex at 6:03 **pecking order bout.
Bout #3 Balls Mahoney defeated Tiger Khan (/w Lord Zoltan) after a Ball Breaker (sitout spinebuster) at 7:31 **solid win for Mahoney who has had his share of losses lately.
Bout #4 Six-Man Tag Match Donnie DiCaprio, Will Damon & Chris Parys defeated Shane Madison, Adam Knight & Darren Dalton by pinfall when Damon pinned Dalton after a tornado DDT at 8:22 **Quite frankly Knight and Dalton were not up to the task. A post match beatdown of Madison by the Players Club finished a bad day for "The Mecca" Shane Madison. Oh yeah, and DiCaprio and Damon rolled out a new nickname for Parys, "Class Act" Chris Parys.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #5 El Dandy & Silver King defeated Dick Raines & Richard Pound by pinfall when Silver King pinned Pound after a Silver Driver at 8:43 **Premiere of two of Mexico's finest and they put on an exhibition, totally dominating their opponents.
Bout #6 Vincent Regliatti & Scotty Anton defeated Greg Pawluk & Spike Dudley (/w Vic Gate) by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 6:59 **lots of bad blood between all 5 men. The heels went right after the back of Pawluk and the knee of Dudely, their recent injuries. Finally Pawluk had enough and retrieved a steel chair. Despite Gate's pleading for him not to, Pawluk nailed both opponents leaving them laid out.
Promo: Greg Gagne has more updates for the 21st Anniversary Spectacular on December 9th **The Road Warriors have announced that their long time manager Paul Ellering will be on hand and in their corner for their bout against the Spinebusters. **After what has transpired in the women's division as of late, Stacey Lynn will defend her North American Women's Title in a Guitar on a Pole match where her opponent Jessica Judd's guitar can be retrieved and used. All others are banned from ringside under threat of fines and suspensions. **The Mexican superstars we saw earlier, El Dandy & Silver King will take on former NWA World Tag Champions Team Extreme: Kit Carson & Khris Germany **The two best RCW tag teams of the 1990's return to RCW to face each other: The Demolition Crew (Mike Enos & Wayne Bloom) are coming out of retirement to take on The Extremists (Ace Darling & Devon Storm).
Televised Main Event RCW Tag Team Title Match Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Native Sons: Wavell Starr & Edde Mustang (/w Gene Swan) by pinfall when Caruthers pinned Mustang after a spinebuster slam at 10:02 [Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **Starr came down to the ring wearing a traditional Native headdress and the challengers had Swan come out as their manager. Nothing really changed as the challengers still wrestled as the faces and were still overmatched by the champs. Swan meant to try and turn the tide by tripping up Caruthers, but the Spinebuster reversed a whip to the ropes and Swan ended up tripping up Mustang instead. Caruthers took advantage with a pair of knees to the back of the neck, and then nailed his finisher.
Post-Match: An upset Mustang got into a pushing match with Swan. Starr got in the way, and Mustang ended up nailing Starr in the head, and then went after Swan, as we
FADE TO BLACK
The event also featured another dark match after the TV show went off the air.
Dark Match Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Stan Baker by countout at 15:32 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **This one had more of a house match feel than a televised event vibe. In the end the champ again proved to be the better man.

Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Silver King defeated William Butler Yeats by pinfall after a Silver Kick at 5:17 **one sided bout.
Bout #2 El Dandy defeated Tiger Khan (/w Lord Zoltan) by pinfall after a Somersault splash at 6:04 **Khan ventured better than Yeats did in the opener, but Dandy and Silver King look like world class wrestlers.
Bout #3 Shane Madison and Chris Parys battled to a no-contest at 6:36 **nothing settled in this one as Madison wants revenge for the betrayal of Parys. Perhaps having a title shot later tonight kept the other PC members Damon and DiCaprio from interfering on behalf of Parys.
Bout #4 Eddie Mustang defeated Wavell Starr (/w Gene Swan) by pinfall after a springboard bulldog at 7:25 **Mustang came in the heel wanting a piece of Starr and the interloper Swan, but was as surprised as anyone when Swan turned on Starr tripping him up, letting Mustang hit his finisher. After the bout there was some confusion between all three on how they stood.
Bout #5 Chrome defeated Balls Mahoney by pinfall after a chokeslam at 5:59 **Could have gone either way. Mahoney controlled a lot of the bout cutting the big man down to size. But Chrome reversed a suplex attempt, nailed a release powerbomb, followed by a legdrop, and then a chokeslam to pick up the win.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 RCW Television Title Match Stan Baker defeated Adam Knight by pinfall after a heart punch at 4:50 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title Match] **No one is really sure what Knight did to deserve a title shot, but at this point the match makers are just trying to preserve the matches for the Anniversary show.
Bout #7 RCW Tag Team Title Match Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Players Club: Will Damon & Donnie DiCaprio by pinfall when Caruthers pinned Damon after a spiked piledriver at 8:16 [Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **two heel teams, and the fans really couldn't pick one to cheer for so instead they cheered every time someone took damage. The end came when Class Act Chris Parys came down to help his team, but then Shane Madison came down to attack him. The distraction worked to the champs favour who eliminated DiCaprio from the ring and then double teamed Damon for the victory.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Scotty Anton by pinfall after a diving clothesline at 7:57 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **This match went back and forth, and after some technical exchanges Anton decided to try and turn it into a brawl. Holiday was happy to accommodate and the match went outside. Holiday threw Anton over the guardrail into the crowd and then went back to the ring. Before getting back into the ring Anton pulled out brass knux. He hid them behind his back as he tried to get back into the ring but was bumped off to the floor below. He went to try a second time when Greg Pawluk hobbled to the ring, got up on the apron and wrestled the knux from the challenger. Distracted it was easy for Holiday to pull Anton over the top rope and into the ring. He nailed a vertical suplex, then climbed to the top rope and dived off when Anton was staggering to his feet, and nailed a clothesline for the pin.
Promo: Commissioner Greg Gagne comes to the ring with about 5 minutes left to update us on the 21st Anniversary Show. Next week there will be no title shots, so all the title matches on the show are set. In addition to the matches already set the following have been added; **A new hot shot from Texas, a former collegiate wrestler and football player, "Total Destruction" Steve Riley makes his RCW premiere. His opponent will be Balls Mahoney. **A losers leave RCW Tag Team match. Both members of the losing team will have to leave RCW. Scotty Anton & Vincent Regliatti vs Spike Dudley & Greg Pawluk (/w Vic Gate) **the two biggest men in RCW will face off one-on-one; Cyborg vs Kurrgan
