APW Heavyweight Title Match
guest referee; Jack Larkin
Eddie Chavez defeated Asp Evergreen by pinfall after a running powerslam at 19:20
[Eddie Chavez retained the APW Heavyweight Title]
**another battle that went back and forth, with Asp showing his unique cheating methods while Eddie showing his dogged determination to fight through whatever his former friend threw at him. The big X-factor in this match was referee Larkin, and as it turned out he called everything right down the middle. The end cmae when Asp had uncovered a turnbuckle but it was Chavez able to throw Asp back first into the buckle, and then shake the ring with a massive running powerslam to end the match.
Semi-Main Event
APW Television Title Match
Jody Christmas defeated Sabu by countout at 15:54
[Jody Christmas retained the APW TV Title]
**Sabu used his experience and a leniant referee to take out an early advantage in the match, but the champ fired back with an attack on the knees of the aging star which seemd to really slow him down in a hurry. Sabu spent the rest of the match trying to come back but fell short. Finally after a big tumble over the top rope only Christmas was able to slip under the bottom rope to beat the 10 count.
Ex-Special 6 man Tag Match
Crystal Cunard, Lacey & Rain (The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew) defeated
April Hunter, Deanna Conda, and Nikki Crawford by pinfall when Ladey pinned Crawford after a frog splash at 10:36
**Despite the loss Hunter looked dominating in this match, and she had a strong sequence controlling women's champion Cunard.
APW Tag Team Title Match
Donnie DiCaprio & Moses Luke defeated Team Extreme; Kit Carson & Kris Germany by pinfall when DiCaprio pinned Carson whose shoulders were counted down while in a figure-four at 17:11
[DiCaprio & Luke retained the APW Tag Team Title]
**all 4 men were bloodied by the 10 minute mark of the match, and Luke was the most gruesome. However, DiCaprio did a great job of adjusting to the extreme style of the former champions and hardcore legends. The tag champs came off looking extremely strong.
Special Attraction Match
Wes Shivers defeated Todd Bridges by pinfall after a backstabber at 8:09
**Bridges actually shocked the crowd by coming out strong and dominating the much bigger Shivers for the first 3 minutes. Interestingly the crowd was pretty much split 50/50 in cheers between the two. Trishelle Cantenella came to the ring to manage Bridges. Shivers would use his power to turn the match around and then punished Bridges for a few minutes, not even trying for a pin. He exchanged verbal jousts with Trishelle. However, Shivers telegraphed a back body drop and Bridges slid over hsi back and then nailed an inverted DDT. Shivers was out and Bridges came off the ropes, but was tripped by Trishelle! Bridges recovered but was so shocked he turned his back on Shivers to confront Trishelle. This allowed Shivers to nail Bridges from behind and a minute later he hit the backstabber to finish the former Different Strokes actor off.
After the match Trishelle could be heard to yell at Bridges "that's what I'm talking about Willis". Shivers seemed surprised by the turn of events and did not leave the ring with Trishelle.
#1 Contenders Match
Uriah (/w Derek St. Holmes) defeated Kenny Omega by pinfall at 5:20
**the crowd was stunned by how fast work Uriah made of Omega. He just dominated the world class Omega. After the match Derek st. Holmes, esquire got on the house mic and told all the doubters that this was the plan. Uriah is now ready, and come January he will be going after the Heavyweight title, he will win the title, and the two of them will rule APW for years ahead. It was hard to argue seeing the physical wrestling specimen standing behind him.
Special Tag Team Match
Chris Jons & Steve Corino defeaated Raymond Bingham & Adam Windsor by pinfall when Jons pinned Windosr at 9:29
**Windosr turned out to be the weak link in this match. Seems like the bad blood between Corino and Bingham though is not over.
Elimination Points Match - 30 minute match
**Each succesive fall is worth one more point, DQ/CO worth only half the total
El Generico v El Camino
4:03 El Camino pins Generico [1-0]
6:12 Generico pins Camino [2-1 Generico]
15:50 Camino takes fall by countout [2.5-2 Camino]
20:23 Camino pins Generico [6.5-2 Camino]
27:13 Generico wins fall by DQ, he had a sure pinfall but Camino got dq on purpose [6.5-4.5 Camino]
as the match wore down Camino did his best to not engage with Generico. Finally Generico managed to toss Camino over the top rope and Camino had to come back in the ring to beat the 10 count. He tried to re-enter the ring and leave right away, but Generico grabbed him by the feet and put on a half boston and made his fellow masked wrestler tap out. at 29:51
