I am looking for people with a creative flair to join and contribute to the PLS Media (Platinum Media) site which is an entertainment game and community. PLS Media operates a full 22 hour week U.S. television network, a general cable station eVolution, an 80's centric cable station called Gen80, a sports network "Balls" that specializes in showing live and taped sports events instead of recap and desk shows, "Liberty Radio" a new XM/Sirius radio station that "plays them all", and even an independent pro wrestling organization that has been operating since 1980 and appears on "Balls".
We are also open to those whose interests lie in running a local affiliate station, made for TV movie studio, public access television station, advertising promotions, or any other piece of an entertainment conglomerate.
So what roles are open for you?
Network television programming. Come up with your own shows, get them on the Liberty TV network as early as a mid-season replacement, or summer 2017, or get a jump on next year. Ratings will reflect in large part the effort put into the show, not as much subjectivity as having a handful of people play proxy for millions. We compete as one network together against the real world networks. We run a distant 5th but we have a heck of a lot more fun.
Television Studio owner/President. If you have your eye on producing a variety of programs for different platforms and want to develop your own brand then put it all under one banner; your own production studios. Produce shows for any of the PLS Media assets; network, cable, radio, or local.
Network programming director. Take over the programming for eVolution, Gen80, or Balls. You will be responsible for all the programming selection, probably the bulk of the programming production for now, ratings, news, and marketing. Of course, you can recruit help, and put in as little or as much time as you want. The more quality content and information you build, the more the brand will expand and the brighter your star will be in the PLS Media empire.
SVOD. Liberty is looking to launch a SVOD model, which would feature catch up episodes of current PLS shows, past PLS shows, and other open assets including a focus on foreign shows (British, Australian, Canadian, etc). Other assets can be produced by our community of television studios as original content. We are currently looking for someone to spearhead this initiative.
News/critic reporter. Write reviews, summaries, stories.
Advertising/Marketing. Create promos for any of PLS' assets.
And of course you are free to create multiple personas and take multiple roles.
