ABC Drama
Boom - (from USA's press release, May 2014) A young couple moves to a contemporary boomtown in North Dakota in pursuit of the American dream and are seduced by the sudden wealth of frontier life. Writer-director Josh Pate ("Surface") co-wrote the project
cast includes Don Johnson and Delroy Lindo
Broad Squad - cop procedural set in 1978, billed as a fictionalized account of the graduating class of Boston's first female patrol officers.
I'm interested because of the time piece and setting; late 70's Boston
Kingmakers - drama about a young man whose sister is found dead during her freshman year at an elite Ivy League university; he adopts a new identity to infiltrate the school and its century-old secret society - consisting of privileged students, ambitious faculty.
I'm interested because of the Ivy league settings and cast members Colm Feore, and Parminder Nagra.
The LA Crime - drama which explores sex, politics and popular culture across various noteworthy eras in L.A. history with the inaugural season following two LA cops track a Bonnie & Clyde-esque serial killer team amidst the rock-and-roll, coke-infused revelry of the 1980s Sunset Strip.
I'm interested because of the time and setting.

CBS Drama

FOX Comedy
48 Hours 'Til Monday - A show about one husband's desperate struggle to not let every weekend go completely to hell.
I'm interested because I can relate!
The Grinder - single-camera comedy about beloved TV lawyer Dean Sanderson who, when his long-running hit series comes to an end, finds himself at a crossroads in life and decides to move back to his small hometown thinking he has the experience to take over his family's law firm where he butts heads with his brother.
I'm interested because of the cast, Rob Lowe and Fred Savage
FOX Drama
Lucifer - small screen take on the DC Comics character, who, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he opens an exclusive piano bar called Lux.
I'm interested because its DC comics, LA, and a piano bar...
NBC Comedy
Nothing
NBC Drama
Blindspot - A beautiful woman, with no memories of her past, is found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate tattoos. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately ignites the attention of the FBI who begin to follow the road map on her body to reveal a larger conspiracy of crime while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity.
I'm interested, sounds a bit like a Da Vinci Code thing
Manhunt - anthology-style drama focusing on the mounting tension of an entire city on the hunt for a fugitive roaming the streets at large.
I'm interested because it sounds very timely, thrilling, like "24"
CW
Nothing
Overall a very uninspiring group of shows, but some possible time and setting pieces to get me to tune in. Of course once the upfronts happen and then the promos begin you see things in a new light. Pretty unusual for CBS to have nothing to offer me, and FOX seems to have a good year followed by a bad year, this is a good year as was 2013-14, while last year was nothing.
