At the age of 83, Soto and Rebecca think Wade will be an easy takedown but its anything but easy; however they find out that Wade knows a lot about what was going on the weeks before the island prison was closed for good.

Along the way he meets a young girl, Sarah, and her mother Monique (Neve Campbell) and falls for them both. Marshall has to call in his Mother, Marsha Bryant (Lisa Hartman Black) to help him win over Sarah and Monique.

Hamilton is able to muster the missing resources and intell to launch a successful resuce in Russia.

When Mahajan believes a famous serial killer (Kahn) has relocated from Pakistan to Detroit and operating undetected for 5 years; no one believes him. A registered sex offender is murderd and all his neighbors are the squads top suspects.

Irving tries to convince Hobey that his plan was to make him quit so he could go and investigate for him in the Cayman Islands, a tip Irving picked up from Wainright's wife. Irving works a possible school board story of corruption which he then tries to trade up for evidence implicating Wainright, but his editor won't allow him to make the trade.

The questioning of Fadi increases in Guantamono to the point of crossing into torture.

John seems to actually gain some insight as to his shortcomings while Daniel also realizes that maybe he is not the hotshot he thinks he is.

A straight student who tries to show support for a controversial gay-straight alliance at an inner city high school is murdered and the suspects include a wide variety of upset citizens and family members. Mahajan thinks he has found Kahn but loses the trail, only to be attacked by Kahn in his own home.

Irving gets a call from his contact in the hospital that Janet Wainright is in the hospital, possible victim of spousal abuse. Janet won't confide in Irving.
